Vanilla Latte with Oat milk
Holly J.

I'm so glad they opened a spot in Bellevue as this is one of my favorite coffee spots. What makes this place stand out in a city of good coffee are their coffees are never burnt/bitter, your coffee tastes like coffee and not just syrup/ milk, and none of their drinks are super sweet. I constantly have to ask for less sweet at every coffee shop that I go to, but never here. I've tried probably half their menu of drinks and have really liked everything. Give this spot a try because you'll def be coming back!

We tried 4 different coffee venues during the week and I enjoy their matcha latte the best, of those we visited I watched them ground the matcha and took their time with their froth design

Well this was very interesting, I wanted to try the cheesecake with my youngest who absolutely…read moreloves Japanese style cheesecakes and these guys know what they're doing. BUT They had no cheesecakes, no you don't understand they had nothing the only thing they had was their mini cheesecakes which you could only get with the sundae or the flight (and that was entirely their fruit flavored ones) Guys I was shook, they fly their cheesecakes in so we had gotten there 2 days before the next shipment. Now look I'm not docking points because a) The guys there were trying so hard to keep people happy in an impossible position. b) On their menu (online) it said a lot of things were sold out, I had just assumed that they meant their whole cakes, not that their café was no longer functioning lol, my bad So now you know. They are still amazing BUT check that menu before going

I tried the Mango Hokkaido milk ice cream along with the fromage cheesecake, and both were definitely tasty. The flavors are authentic and the texture of the cheesecake is as smooth as expected. However, the overall experience felt subpar for a few reasons. The pricing is quite high, and while the food is good, it does not feel like the quality fully justifies the cost. Additionally, the staff members were a bit rude and did not provide a welcoming atmosphere. While the treats are enjoyable, the combination of high prices and lackluster service makes it hard to give a higher rating.

Mmm the combination cannot be more perfect. This is what Hk cafes are all about, and elevated with that savory piece of spam. If you haven't tried, I highly recommend you do. I got also about 10 to go, and gave them to my kids school teachers, and they all had their minds blown. They all took the time to reach out to me and asked where I got such a wonderful concoction! 100/10. Eat it hot for maximum score!

There isn't any dedicated parking for the cafe, but we were able to find street parking around the block. Once you enter inside the building and cafe, it is surprisingly spacious. There isn't that much seating available though. On a nice day, there is outdoor seating available. I ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and a Mint Mojito Iced Coffee. These were drinks very basic. Nothing extravagant about them, especially the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The Mint Mojito Iced Coffee was a tad bit better and you could taste the mint in it. If I were to return, I definitely would try other drinks or even their food items here. The customer service here was okay. Not very interactive. There wasn't any issues, but it was a bit awkward for whatever reason.

If you're craving some bingsoo, make the trek to Bellevue if possible. This store is shared with Xi'an Noodles with a shared restroom and wifi available. Located in the Belgate plaza, there is plenty of parking. Mixed Berry Bingsoo - my favorite bingsoo because the berries are packed with flavor, sweet, and enhance the dessert. With a mix of sweetness, tartness, and acidity, the bingsoo has balance and the contrast actually helps each flavor shine. The berry juices even add flavor to the bingsoo below (and there are berries at the bottom). The only mediocre aspect is the whipped cream on top which is just whatever. Taro Bingsoo - the menu has alternated between ube ice cream and taro ice cream but I think it's always been taro ice cream because it's not overly sweet. Red bean is also sweet but after devouring the toppings (including the ice cream), the bingsoo itself doesn't offer much. It's sweet shaved milk with condensed milk but the taro flavor isn't as potent.

I came here specifically for the Matcha Parfait, and it did not disappoint! This is not just a dessert; it's an entire experience in a glass. The parfait is beautifully layered with high-quality matcha ice cream, matcha pudding, and whipped cream. The matcha has that perfect, deep earthy flavor without being overly sweet. I loved the variety of textures, from the chewy mochi to the crunch of the cornflakes at the bottom--it keeps every bite interesting. You can tell they use premium, ceremonial-grade matcha because the color is so vibrant and the taste is incredibly smooth. The cafe has a very modern, clean, and minimalist aesthetic. It's a great place to sit down with friends or even just to treat yourself to a peaceful afternoon snack. The service was polite and efficient, even when it started to get a bit busy. Nana's is definitely the gold standard for matcha in the Bellevue area. Whether you're a die-hard matcha fan or just looking for a unique, high-quality dessert, the Matcha Parfait is a 10/10 choice! If you're not in the mood for a full parfait, their matcha lattes are also fantastic--definitely ask for it with less sugar to let the natural tea flavor shine.
