The staff at the copy center do not seem to be very skilled at their job. I would not trust them with my business documents again. When an error was presented, their attitude was to shrug and blame the work onto someone else who happened to not be there. They really don't care. The rest of the store is okay. read more

Not sure why this place gets a bad rep for printing. I had copies made as well as a somewhat large print job. Alyssa was very fast, friendly, and knowledgable. I would most likely come back if I ever need to print out a bunch of stuff again. read more

Nick Marx, the tech sales supervisor, provided me with excellent service, He's extremely professional and kind. He was always ready to assist me in any way. I highly recommend him as a future fine manager of Staples. read more

Walked into Staples to get a couple of business cards laminated. There was one person in line and three employees behind the counter. One was helping an existing customer. The other two went about their way. The one helping the customer and at the looks at it the only one that wants to be there politely ask if I needed help. She was very helpful and attentive. However not the sharpest tool to later find out. Instead of laminating my cards with business card sized pouches she hands me a letter size sheet. Ok I thought to myself I guess she will cut them. Nope, she handed back to me the entire sheet only to notice the entire sheet was full of air bubbles and failed to seal around the card edges. The machine was probably not hot enough. Can I at least get a simple quality check before handing the sheet back to the customer? You may ask why didn't I complain or ask for a redo. Do I really want to get more aggregated? Do I have to remind you what I'm dealing with? No thanks. I recommend going somewhere else with better management, customer service, and knowledgeable staff in how to use their machines. It's a laminating machine not a Nespresso machine. I would send the one helping me for more training. The other two and the manager in charge out the door. I should have gotten the hint as every time I walk into their store it looks like a ghost town and a feeling of dumb. read more

One of the ladies at the print and copy center was extremely rude when I walked up to the counter. There was no line and she wasn't helping a customer. Before I could even ask my question, she demanded (in a very harsh tone) that I wait away from the counter where the line should begin. But there was no one else there and I just needed to ask a quick question! I was so appalled by her tone that I just left and went to a different office store. Don't work in customer service if you're going to act like that. read more

This is one of the most organized office supply stores I've ever been to. They seem to always be in stock with everything and anything you need. The employees are also very helpful, and know where everything is. It's like they have the entire store memorized. Also, this particular Staples seems to have more of a variety of items than other Staples would. For example, they have 10 colors of a specific brand of notebooks as opposed to some Staples having only 3 or 5. Thanks for keeping up with my specific, and colorful needs Staples! ILY. read more

I've used this Staples to get some copies made a few times now, and every time I come in, I'm immediately frustrated and overwhelmed by their lack of customer service skills and their overall unwillingness to help me. The first time I came in, the blond woman at the counter acted as if I was not there, set my project aside and took the next customer. I had to demand that I be helped now, seeing as I was in line before the other gentleman. I mean... are you serious? I needed one page printed: this should have taken all of two seconds but instead it took more like twenty. Then the last time I went in, the African American woman at the counter sent me to a machine that didn't even work and then helped the lady behind me when I came back to the counter and told her it didn't work. These people grunt at you, have no customer service or people skills at all, and are just plain rude and unpleasant. They act like they would rather do anything else in the world than help you. Not what I look for in a retail store like this. read more

Love to talk about the good stuff. THIS is the FOURTH time Staples tech dept has saved a computer. NICE JOB! AGAIN!

Horrible experience with their shipping service. There is only one computer they use for UPS which wasn't working properly and needed to be rebooted so I waited several minutes. Next the scale wasn't working properly and so that needed to be unplugged and restarted. I finally enter all of my information into the one computer and the sales person can't figure out how to get to the next screen and tells me she needs to reboot again. I ask to speak to a manager who can't figure it out. I'm told it's a glitch and they need to file an e-ticket. I ask if they have a customer service number they can call. With a lukewarm response "they don't usually resolve the issue over the phone". 25 min later I walk out with package in hand and no acknowledgement that this I had been a terrible customer experience. Go elsewhere folks! read more

I like this Staples!! First of all, it's one of the larger ones and carries a vast array of products, wnich a lot of them don't . Manager Steve Estifanos gave me a good deal on an expensive filing cabinet. Store clerk Mike C. was eager to show me to the products and help me choose. Then after purchasing the filing cabinet, Mike cheerfully carried the heavy item to the car and put it in the trunk. Both Mike C. and the manager Steve were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was the last customer on a Sunday night and realized that by the time I made the purchase and loaded my car it was quite a while after their closing time. They both had a great sense of humor and made the experience very pleasant - even Alyssa the cashier was lovely. read more

This is not for the business as a whole at all, but mainly for the lady named Christine at the copy center. She just doesn't know what customer service is. She just sat there and chatted with her friend while 20 minutes went by I was almost late to my interview. All I needed to do was print out a few resumes. And she charged me for extra blank paper I gave back to her. For 5 resumes. It was 9 dollars. Maybe she was high, but if you see ms. Christine and you're on a time limit , just don't even. read more

I love this store. Everyone there has always been so nice and helpful and gives me special treatment. Martin who is in the computer section...repairing and fixing anything that needs to be done ala computers, laptops, wifi equipment, what have you, is always friendly and takes his time to teach you how to use the equipment. Excellent service and thank you Martin! read more

Literally one of the most disgusting bathrooms I've been in. Clearly management is unmotivated. Every single surface had a layer of scum on it. White tiled floor was basically black. The only thing I think the staff does to "clean" is wipe the mirror. Would have rather used a porta potty read more

Very Helpful and Very knowledgeable. Martin ( Manager) took his time to explain to me about two Brand of Printers. He even let you know how to maintain your Printer, so your Printhead won't need replacement. Great Customer Service! Thank you Martin!! read more

Fucked up my friends simple print order 4 times, and he even left written instructions, they just ignored them.

Very clean and organized store and quick service! I was going in for a quick trip to get ink. Found what I needed easily and then as I was checking out the sales guy (I think his name was Frank?) offered to get me the packaged item to save me money! He quickly went to the ink section and got the color pack of ink which saved me a couple bucks instead of buying them individually. That is the above and beyond type of customer service I appreciate! Thank you! read more

This is my local Staples, and I've done casual business here for years, since it opened. However, recently I've been having some odd experiences, and they mostly center around the manager, Martin. The impetus for this review was that I bought an "HP 7610 Series All in One Printer." I bought it for its scanning capabilities, but it turned out that the scanner was subpar. While I was setting it up last night, I noticed (and mentioned to the HP Customer Service rep on the phone) that the serial number for the unit didn't match the serial number on the box. Odd, but I didn't think too much of it. So, I took the unit back to return it...only to be told by Martin that he couldn't take the return, because the serial numbers didn't match. Um, huh...? I bought the unit, sealed in the box, straight off the shelf at Staples. I bought it with my assistant, who also helped me unpack the box. The tape sealing the box came off fairly easily when we opened it, which I didn't think much about at all, but Martin said that "looked suspicious" (I pointed out the tape residue on one side.) He asked me if I used heat to take the tape off! Again, huh...? Then, when he examined the disc that came with it and said "the unit has to be returned with everything in it; this doesn't match the unit, so I can't accept it." The disc was an HP 7610 series driver disc, and the unit was a 7612...but he quickly changed his tune when he realized that it was a 7610 SERIES. Understand that I bought this box straight off the shelf, and returned it with everything that was in the box (aside from the clear plastic and some packing materials) EXACTLY as I had purchased it. I had nothing to do with the unit being different from the box, and EVERYTHING belonging to the unit was returned. Martin was CLEARLY looking for a reason to deny the return. Very, very, very bizarre. To be fair to Martin, I would have been suspicious, too, but at some point, you have to say "well...there's a brand new, unused unit in front of me, everything's there, it's not damaged in any way, so I'll process the refund." The unit is a BEAST, a GIANT, and no, I'm not running an "All In One Printer" scam out of my house, nor do I have multiple units that I "somehow mixed up" (this unit is GIGANTIC.) I'm just a comic guy trying to find a scanner to replace the one I had to scan my slabs. Martin, you ought to raise holy hell with your HP rep...ABSOLUTELY hold his/her feet to the fire about this. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable, and I know you were just doing your job, but this is TOTALLY unacceptable, and the CUSTOMER shouldn't be made to feel like he's trying to defraud you just because someone at HP screwed up. I bought the unit in good faith, I set it up in good faith, and I returned it in good faith. I didn't do anything other than unknowingly choose the wrong unit to purchase. That I was made to feel like a criminal is totally unacceptable. You need to get in touch with HP, or have your superiors get in touch with HP, and you need to make it clear what they did to a customer, and make sure it NEVER, EVER happens again...AND there needs to be some protocols put in place so that STAPLES doesn't allow it to happen again. And, personally to you, Martin...you ought to be more willing to listen, and less willing to talk. I have interacted with you a number of times, and all those times, you "knew it all", even when you were in error, and you really need to have a more humble attitude when dealing with customers, even if you think the customer is a blithering idiot. I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears. To everyone else, I would say: be VERY VERY careful about purchasing anything spendy at Staples, and OPEN THE BOX AND CHECK EVERYTHING before leaving the store, regardless of how "inconvenienced" the staff may be. I'm very glad Martin processed the refund, but it could have gone the other way, and I REALLY don't need to be looked at as a thief or scammer. Not happy at ALL. read more

I brought my laptop in to Staples here at the Empire center, having had it totally messed up at another place. As a result of the other "fix", my computer was infected with malware. I was honestly very afraid to have anyone touch my laptop. The staff there at the Staples Tech Support area were amazing. Gus walked the whole thing through, explaining everything step by step. Sarkis and Jonothan helped on the steps too. They did a pc scan and found a lot of viruses and malware. Then they did a pc cleanup, which was done by technician Nick. Every person I dealt with was super efficient and also kind, considering the horrible events that had led to the need for a cleanup. It was done very fast. Gus then showed a full report of all they had found and erased (which was a lot!). My computer is my life...everything I use for business and personal is on this laptop. Thanks to them everything was saved and my computer is up and running great. I would highly recommend this Staples location and these staff for any tech support and computer service needs. read more

I have an issue with their online ordering. It has happened to me 3 times and that is why I wont order from them anymore. Once you order, even if you call me in a second, the order will not be cancelled. They will tell you they put a stop delivery on it but in all 3 cases they were delivered and I was charged. Once they told me the shipment was already sent out....in a matter of seconds even though I received the package 2 weeks later. read more

Customer service is poor manager is chatting with resources rather than helping customers. Glendale location is far better than this.

Overall I had a great experience with them. I needed a stamp made and sometimes this can take a few days. However, the guy at the copy center helped me out by making my stamp right then and there. He was so helpful and he was definitely multitasking while working on my order. I think the public forgets how hard it is to deliver great customer service when there's only 1 person in the back working and trying to help 3 people at 1 time. I got my stamp promptly and paid all done. What else can you ask for? Some of the customers were rude and impatient but the guy at the copy center did a great job. Way to go staples! read more

It had been several years since I stepped foot into this Staples location. The last time I was there I felt that nobody was around to help and if they did, their customer service skills were sub-par. A few days ago, I needed a single cartridge of printer ink and the Office Depot in Burbank was out and Walmart only had the combo pack so I tried it again. I was pleasantly surprised that they had what I was looking for (somebody was readily available and glad to help me find it) and it was the cheapest price of the 3 stores I visited. I'll be back! read more

I don't like this staples I just like parking they don't have enough employees you need to wait forever for somebody's help I was asking for an employee and he came to help me after 30minutes read more

Came to this staples looking to print something out. When my friends and I walked in they were in the middle of shooting a commercial and we were politely asked to stay off their "set". Not a big deal right, so I walked off to the corner where they do print/copy jobs and immediately I catch one of the employees tell another one to attend to me. Weird, but perhaps she was busy. I was instructed to email my document to staples so i pulled out my phone and started doing just that. A couple of minutes later that employee rudely told my friends and I to leave if we weren't going to buy anything, as well as to put my phone away thinking we were filming the commercial. I was really annoyed and would have walked out had it not been really important. Unfortunately I was unable to get her name but she really needs to learn about working with customers. read more
