Friday afternoon had a line, but this location also has self- serviced kiosks so that is very helpful when all you have to do is scan and drop off a package. Staff here is friendly otherwise when I have had to stop at the counter. I also like this location because it stays open later than other locations. read more

I kinda want to say that all Post Offices are the same. Sometimes you wait in a line while other times you don't. Burbank's post office is pretty nice looking. The interior is pretty and it does give you something to look at if you are waiting in line but the duration of wait time just consumes you. The service is pretty much the same in all locations, some employees might be more happy to help you than others but its all pretty much consistent. What is not consistent is the information passed. I would send small packages overseas and while displaying my customs form, out of all the locations I've been to I was told at this location that I filled it out wrong. I don't understand why that is if I have been filling out the customs form the same and they have been going through with no issues. The mystery will unravel itself. I also want to know why Burbank's mail deposit boxes are locked after hours. I live more in the hood and none of them are locked. Absolute dog s-t service... Lines are long for not reason, they lost a package I'm now out of money for (small business), you can't get anyone on the phone, and the usps website is dog s-t at processing your claims correctly as they literally coded the input information wrong... If I could give this place zero stars - I would! Don't use this facility unless you want to lose money. read more

It's been quite a while since I reviewed and it looks like it's time to update. They lock their doors in the mornings now, which I think is for the best. My pics of people sleeping inside are dated and I don't think they do that anymore. Service is always prompt. They have hand sanitizer at every station now and also plastic dividers up to offer some protection against covid. They also have stickers on the ground to encourage social distancing. We are back to wearing masks inside. There is always parking available on the west side of the office. On the east side there are only about six spots and one handicap spot so it's always hit on miss. Their employees are awesome. Tuan is so helpful and always very positive. One time he literally jogged across to room to get to the back and behind the counter to help me promptly. I was amazed! I admit I cannot recall the other employees names but they are always positive and prompt. read more

Lost my package for a month now. Can't provide any details or proof (camera or scanning details). Only make you call non stop to the customer service number who are ALSO no help. USPS is a joke of a service and will never want to do business with them again. A note to anyone with high priced valuables, do not go through USPS. Our local post office! The office is small but the people who work there make it great. They are very knowledgeable about ways to save money and how to ship things to make it get there as fast and affordable as possible. There is parking on the side but also a lot in the back which there is always available space. Only downside is that the packages aren't usually always stocked and half of the office where you wait in line has no cell service read more

Absolutely upset with Burbank's Post Office regulations regarding dogs. I haven't received my mail in over a week, because my dog is in my yard TIED UP (SECURELY) AWAY from the postman. I even went out of my way to purchase an outdoor mailbox, mounted on the sidewalk gate, and STILL this post office refuses to deliver my mail! I am VERY cautious with the public's safety, including the post-man/woman, and my own dogs safety, so doing these precautions for safety measures is my priority. But it's apparently not good enough for the post office. This is ridiculous. They are suggesting I relocate my dog in order for them to deliver my mail. Trying to accommodate to these regulations and still not have my mail is unacceptable. Get it together Burbank. read more

Jerry was super helpful and friendly when I went to drop off a package to get shipped out! The interior of this post office is also very beautiful and unique as it has various painted murals that add to the aesthetic of the building. There's also free 30 minute parking on the side of the building, though spots are limited. Definitely will be back if I have anything to ship out in the future! read more

Wow! What an easy, pleasant experience today. I had to run some Christmas mail off to the post office - International- and I was feeling bad because International takes so long to process. I found the parking lot off the west side of the building, which was free and in abundance and pretty much walked up to the teller. I don't know what his name is, but this teller sure was a good mood and took care of my mail really quickly. Granted, this is noon on a Tuesday, but I can't remember the speed an ease it took to mail off packages at any post office as much as my experience today. Thanks, Burbank! I've had good experiences at this location. There is usually parking available in the side lot of on the street. Workers have always been helpful and efficient. Never had any issues with them or with my packages. It's a really pretty building from the outside. The inside is a bit dated and dark, but I understand it's an older building. One of the best experiences I've had at a post office. Not sure if it's due to the stay at home order or it was fairly early in the day but there was barely anyone there and this is during the holidays! I was in and out within 10 minutes!!! I've never really been to the Post Office and thought, "Wow! I like these people and the service was so great!" I even feel weird typing it out. I usually have similar experiences at the DMV. The 2 employees I saw working today were both courteous, professional, and very helpful. The energy they had wasn't over the top like they were trying, but Tuan and his coworker just made experience smooth, helpful, and I left feeling better than I did when I walked in. I tend to have good experiences here. The staff tend to change over time, and some of the folks I liked have moved on. But those who have filled in are carrying the torch well. I'll reiterate: all the staff seem very helpful and pleasant. But one stands out BIG TIME. You'll know when you see him. I'm talking about TUAN here folks. I wish the days of pen-pals, love letters, holiday cards, postcards and care packages could live forever.... Because even though I get bills and direct mail, I think there should be more... surprises. There is that impressive array of junk mail, every so often, but it's not enough... sometimes. The postal service can be mediocre with long lines and routine humdrum behaviors, however, I keep going back. I can't get enough. I have plenty fond memories of the USPS and postmasters. Some of these postal workers just make me laugh. All friends. And well, lemme tell you.... I found out the postal motto has changed from what I use to know. It must be because of the Priority and Express packaging offerings, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Price increase after price increase and suddenly there's a little dip (like two cents). Take advantage it and send those letters and greeting cards everywhere. Love their spirit here. Branch not open until another 30mins, but ajumma postal lady came out to help me purchasing some international stamps. I found a note scotch taped onto the stamp kiosk, I cracked up by their black sarcastic humor. The worst customer service! The display full of grab-it-yourself flat rate boxes and envelopes was depleted, I kindly asked for one box from the lady in the back her only response was a very dry unhelpful "you'll have to wait." Umm ok? A few minutes go by and I ask the lady putting mail into the pot boxes for a flat rate box and she started asking me what am I going to mail... Umm none of your business slash why does it matter? And she tells me to come back in an hour. Wtf? I JUST need a box that is supposed to be available for free why can't you just give me one??? I had to drop off a couple of packages here this past weekend. All of my packages had pre-paid labels and were ready to be shipped out. I asked a staff member a simple question, just asking where I should put the boxes. The woman looked at me with a raised eyebrow, looked away, and then pointed to a counter without even making eye contact with me. I always try to "kill them with kindness" when I'm in these types of situations so I thanked her and told her that I hoped she would have a great rest of her day. To this, she did not respond. The last time I was here, I had to ship out a birthday present and apparently they now charge for you to buy your own tape gun to tape your package shut. I feel harsh marking my review as only 1 star but I have had such upsetting experiences here. The staff has always been so incredibly rude, it's mind-blowing. They certainly are not friendly and do not make you feel welcome. One positive: parking to the left side of the building. read more

I love everything about this post office. It's a historical place and you can see it in the details. I love that not much has been done to restore or update it. You feel like you're stepping into 1940 when you walk in. This office usually has 3 ppl on staff to assist with mail and they also have a self service kiosk which I appreciate so much. What a beautiful old historic post office. There is a placard outside saying that it is on the National Register of Historic Places and is dedicated to Bob Hope. Inside it feels like a mission with old Spanish tiles on the walls and beautiful murals. The employees seemed nice and there was hardly a wait. Maybe the clerk I dealt with was having a bad day or just wanted to clock out, but as a customer in line maybe acknowledge my presence and not assume I wasn't ready to be served. Came in briefly to have something weighed, (no other packages,services,etc) 1 person cut in front of me which I let go because i saw her working on her package off to the side when I walked in so "ok" on that. (Mind you...NO ONE ELSE IN THE LINE. 3 clerks with customers already) but then to allow the NEXT random customer who walks in to go in front of me because clerk assumed I was working on mine by looking down for a few seconds???...no excuse. Just rude & disingenuous. Didn't even ask if I was ready or "whos next"...just let the next guy through. Customer service is a lost art. My review is the best encounter I experienced today with the post office employee named Tuan. I picked up 4 packages and one of them is really bulky for me to carry everything in my car. I told him I will come back for the biggest package but guess what he did? He without hesitation carried the boxes to my car even though there are people lining up to be served. I am literally speechless amd in awe of that kindness, doing his duty above and beyond. I am grateful. May this review reach his manager for really a deserving KUDOS TUAN!!!
