The service requested is excellent. The quality is excellent. The value is more when you rent for over a year. I have been going here since 2008, This is where I trust for handling mail, packages etcetera . The people who work there give you the best care especially when they have worked there for years they become extended family members. When there is an issue that needs to be resolve it is taken care of immediately. I have had a post office box for years and the convenience of being 24 hours you can pick it up anytime not being stuck to 9 to 5 makes a whole lot difference in the world I highly recommend this place at least try it. read more

I came here 2 wells ago to drop off wedding invitations and asked that they be hand stamped (every website will recommended this as wedding invites are delicate) and the very nice employee kindly did just that. Today, two weeks later, I arrived with 20 more invites to be mailed out, and when I kindly asked for them to hand stamp the invites the post office employee barks at me and says " we don't do that". I mentioned to her that they did it for me 2 weeks ago and she says "fine, go talk to manager". I'm waiting at the counter and she points "over there" with an attitude. The manager wouldn't even walk over to me, so I went over to him and asked my question, he cuts me off and says "we don't do it, it's been policy for years". He choked a little bit as he was chewing on some food. I insisted that they had just done it for me, he said "no we don't do that" with an attitude. I hate that I had to leave the invites with him. I asked him why, he said "oh it's a corporate decision". Why is this guy a "manager" if he can't even handle basic questions as to why things get done? This guy was a real prick, and a complete asshole. This is what the post office has come to? I wish I never had to back to the post office. What a horrible encounter. read more

Do you like longs lines, empty supply shelves to mail out your packages, or rude workers? If you answered yes to all these questions then, you're in luck you found the place! But in all seriousness, I have always loved going to this post office because of the avaiable parking spots and decent customer service. However, most revently this location thas taken a turn for the worse. The last couple times I have come in, there is always only one employee available to help customers. The line is usually more than 6-7 people long. Just a warning, pack your patience as you can expect at least a 30 minute wait if not more. read more

Super clean post office and looks like it's practically brand new! Maybe it is just really well-kept. There is plenty of parking in their parking lot in the back and there is also street parking. They have automatic doors which are much nicer than the old door on the post office over on Olive Avenue. I never really thought about it before the coronavirus but I do like the automatic doors now that we are living this kind of way. They have places where we are supposed to stand now clearly labeled on the floor. They also have a plastic divider in between them and the public. I have had multiple cashiers here and everybody has been fast and friendly. Also, they never lost my package so obviously that's good too LOL. I like that they open at 9 AM too! They are a little further for me than the office on Olive Avenue, but since I can mail my stuff an hour earlier it is worth the drive! read more

This USPS Glendale Office has uncover mail cops. This afternoon, it was a man dressed in black. No name tag or nothing. He could have been a lunatic that waltzed into the post office for all I/we know. It happens that way in California. I've heard stories. Now, I have one for you. Well, he went through the people standing in line with their packages waiting for postage and demanded to know why these people were in line and what's in their packages. That's really nosey rudeness. To me, he should be tidying the place or mopping the floors if he works there... And if there's nothing else for him to do. Anyways, I did self service incorrectly on my last visit. The postmaster told me to wait in the line and let a postperson do the postage sticker(s) for me. So, "undercover mail cop" was suspicious of me because I wrote "fragile" on my package. He made me tell him everything I was mailing... Like it was an investigation. Then, he looked at me like I was nuts. But the rest of the time he was observing my arms. Then, he vanished. Where's the trust? The postperson that ensured my package was completed correctly asked the same questions as "undercover mail cop". Except, he wore a uniform, was behind the counter, took payment, added postage and mailed packages. I WILL NEVER USE THIS USPS LOCATION AGAIN. They have LOST TWO PACAKGES (one worth substantional $) OUT OF FIVE DROPPED in the span of 1.5 months. I used the roll bin and it cleared (I always checked because I'm paranoid about that). I was told by the station manager that packages are not scanned when dropped in the box - only when you give it to the counter/someone. I know this is not true because the first lost package was dropped in the roll bin and was scanned as leaving Glendale. The second time it was never scanned. While I understand things "can and will happen" -- those odds are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE even across all other cities I've lived and USPS locations I've used. This particular location has many other reviews about "MULTIPLE LOST PACKAGES" so this location is either poorly managed, or someone is stealing mail because mine situation is not some isolated event. read more

I recommend getting a PO Box here if you are interested because it's easily accessible and they don't make any mistakes. It's funny closed at 5:28pm walked in to the office it was me and other person who wants to buy stamps and me shipping a business package , it was not busy and 2 register were still open even waiting for manager approval to give service to us , but this this called manager David Emanuel refuse to give us service although it was 6:31pm, first it was 2 min left from your work hour and this was not a a NASA missile lunch pad , according to your schedule you can't close until 5:30 pm. Mr. So call manager your job is customer service and you have to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction specially a business customer which is shipping frequently , I will follow up and file an official complain through the USPS web site too , can't be a manager and act like this . I've used this USPS often throughout the years to ship my packages and they all went smooth - no complaints. Their delivery guy, though, does not want to deliver items to my door. I've supplied the number to enter the security door for my residence still no deliveries. This has been going on for months and after multiple calls to the office nothing has been changed. it's so upsetting that one person can ruin the reputation of an entire business. I loved this USPS it was my go to because everyone was very nice and helpful all the time. One Armenian man that works there is always sooooooo friendly and nice to everyone and he makes it very easy to visit a USPS. Today I had the worst experience EVER with one of the workers named Lia, before it even got to my turn I was hoping she wouldnt help me because of how she was treating all the other customers, she was huffing and puffing the whole time. Once It came to my turn she was so incredibly rude, I have never met a customer service worker that rude, I never speak up but I had to tell her how rude she was. I dont know where she thinks she is or who she thinks she is but shes working at a government business giving service to customers. Shipped a package with international express (3-5 business days) to Europe on December 18th (Monday). Specifically asked the worker if it will arrive by the 27th, she said YES if you ship with express 3-5 business days instead of the regular 2weeks which cost me an additional $40 to the initial $80. Today, Friday December 29 the package arrived after total of 9 business days (excluding Christmas of course). I went to the post office the same day to see what did I pay those extra $40 for, if the package didn't even arrive on time. The same asian lady worker was working. When ever I asked her about my package and showed her my receipt she said "we don't guarantee anything with the express" and literally called the next customer over to the counter. Two things (well, there's much more than just two, but here's two I have the time and patience to write without going paragraphs into detail). One, a certain woman here is as rude as they come, and has the nastiest attitude. It does not matter how polite you are (or how consistently respectful you are) she's 9/10 times rude and upset at something. The last time I was here, she was screaming at a customer in frustration for reasons I choose not to share because it's too specific (absolutely nothing close to an acceptable reason to shout at a customer), in front of a line of other customers. I almost blurted something out in the customer's defense because they were visually confused and flustered at her actions and you could just tell they were embarrassed, which made me feel terrible. Anywho, I can go on and on but two, for crying out loud, this is a government facility is it not? How long are you going to have that piece of paper that reads "out of order" on your drop off wall next to the kiosk? It seems like most of the employees here dread any sort of work and are here merely to clock in, clock out, and reap their benefits. Absolutely unfair to everyone else who has to be held accountable for their actions in a work environment. No one who works for the government should feel immune from being held accountable for their poor work habits, and it seems like a lot of folks in these post offices do. The service is fine if all you're coming for are routine things like mailing a package, buying stamps, picking up an undelivered package, etc. But if you need more help than that...good luck. If you're in for a hilariously unbelievable story keep reading. This is my local post office so I find myself here about a few times a month. Usually no issues since I come for routine things. However a few times I've been so frustrated I can't help to wonder how this place continues to run. Around last year I wanted to return a dress I had ordered from a company based in the U.K. I put the dress in the same package as it came in (a poly mailer/plastic envelope mailer). As I didn't have a scale at home, I took it in to get weighed and pay for it there. They weighed it, said it'll be $40, and so I pay and have it sent off. A week later I get the package delivered back to me at home with a note that the postage paid wasn't sufficient. I take it back to the post office. They weighed the package and said according to the scale it would cost $55 to ship so I need to pay another $15 for it to go through. I told them they had weighed it THERE at the post office just last week, so they tried a different scale and the other scale said $40! How can the scales at a POST OFFICE not be accurate/calibrated? They told me to wait for the manager. It's already been one hour of waiting and back and worth between different employees. I do have to mention that this one female employee was being very nice and apologetic and was just as confused herself. I see the manager come out and immediately I notice he has a very defensive demeanor. He says in a condescending tone, let's walk over to the self-service kiosk and weigh the package there. We go over there and after 5 minutes of awkwardly waiting together for others to finish, he places the package down on the scale. Guess what happens next. The computer says the scale wasn't working! I didn't know if this was more funny or frustrating. We walk back to the service area, and he says I think your package didn't go through because the mailing sticker (that got placed on the package after being weighed) PUSHED THE PACKAGE WEIGHT OVER. Another $15 because the sticker added one ounce to the total weight. And that's why the scales were saying different things. Then he says he also doesn't think the plastic envelope mailer is approved for international packages and I "have to do it flat rate" and he is sure of this because he has over 10 years (or some big number) of experience in the post office business. But this wasn't my first time mailing international in a poly mailer. Anyway, I was super frustrated at this point because he was more concerned about his pride and coming up with reasons why my package didn't go through than actually finding a solution. I'm not the type to get angry or argue, I'm always patient/understanding but at this point it was becoming ridiculous. I decided to fill out a refund application and got my postage money back. I never ended up returning the dress. Incident number 2. I came to pick up a package recently that wasn't delivered because the delivery address was missing some information. First thing the man helping me said is if it's already been more than a day since the delivery attempt, "it got sent back." The last delivery attempt was the day before (hadn't even been 24 hours). Okay, I understand their protocol for packages with "incorrect addresses" is to get sent back in one day, but his demeanor was already pessimistic instead of hopeful or helpful. So we give him the tracking number, he comes back after 10 minutes and says he couldn't locate it, so it got sent back to the sender. Mind you the last update on the tracking said "delivery attempt" and not "sent back". So I ask if it already got sent back, will the tracking say that and how quickly will it reflect that update? He says it won't say anything until it gets delivered back to the sender. And in the same breath, he says "next customer!". The same day, the angel who is our postman delivers our package because the day before my mom had informed him to look for a package with missing address info because it's ours. He said he had told the post office to not send it back, and he actually had it on his car all morning. So I'm not sure what the man at the post office did for 10 minutes when he "tried locating it" and couldn't find it on the car of the postman. +1 star for the delivery postmen/women, they are always great and even go out of their way sometimes. This review is for the post office itself and unfortunately I can't do much but hope I don't run into any issues that require a little bit extra help. I actually enjoy going to the post office here because everyone is so friendly. Compared to any postal location I've been anywhere in the country, these people are the best. I didn't fix my postage machine because I actually enjoy seeing my friends that work there. They know I'm an opera singer and all about my business selling clothes. I was here yesterday to send a package This must be the cleanest USPS that I have ever been to! The staff here are nice and funny they joke around with you and try to fool you with a free stamp x] the only thing that this post office didn't have much off was the parking space!! they really picked out a very tight spot so if you need to come here and leave right away you should just park on the st. cause sometime you can get stuck in that tiny parking space some of the elderly people can drive pretty slow to get out of this place =]] read more

I have had consistently bad experience at this PO, so much that I closed my PO BOX. See the list of mishaps they put me through in a relatively short period of time: 1-I have had important mail addressed to me CORRECTLY that were returned to sender stating that it was the wrong address!!! This happened on two occasions over a 12 month period. Imagine if you are awaiting time-sensitive or other vital mail and have to bear this kind of nonsense. 2- I have had packages sent to me that could not be located at their possession. Now this is WITH their package delivery notice/claim card in my hand being submitted to them.!! Then they were miraculously located the following day when I wasted time standing in line for a second time. 3- After closing my PO BOX and submitting a change of address within 24 hours, this PO has already RETURNED to sender 2 important parcels back!!! Also, it took them more than 4 weeks to finally re-direct mail from my old PO BOX to my new one. This can be absolutely disastrous if your mail is important which more often than not is the case for people who have a pulse otherwise you would not have a PO BOX or require mail service. 4- Management does not call you back when promised. Complaints go without resolution or satisfactory explanation. read more

I ordered a pair of shoes and had to have them delivered to my neighbors address since the shippers weren't able to enter a 1/2 street number in their system. His door is ~6ft from my door so I didn't think it would be an issue. I receive a notification that the shoes are out for delivery and a few hours later I get a notification they are being returned to sender due to an addressee error. I contacted them and they informed me they won't deliver a package to an address when the name doesn't match the address. So even though they delivered mail the same day with my name on it they couldn't also deliver the box of shoes in their truck with my name on it despite the address being ~6ft from mine. This is sadly my closest USPS. The supervisor named David that works there was very unhelpful. Their truck got vandalized and my package was amongst that was stolen. That same week, an important surprise package from a friend was delivered and "mysteriously" got stolen. After my friend told me she had sent me a package, I told whoever was home to double check if the package was there. It was nonexistent. So I called and drove myself to the USPS to ask for help on locating my package. David said he'd give me a call so he could ask the driver responsible for my package and he never called me back. He never once tried to call me and every time I did, he had an annoyed sound like "oh great it's you again, what now?" The cashiers are usually friendly so there's at least that. And our mail guys are also nice. But don't expect much of something goes wrong with your mail cause they're not going to help. read more

Big office! Very well stocked with supplies, both free and for purchase boxes and envelopes. There were 3-4 workers at the windows and were all friendly. It was our first time to ship an item we sold on ebay so we came there with no shipping suppplies yet. We were supposed to get a regular box plus the tape plus the bubble wrap but thank goodness Deborah was there. She helped us all throughout the process and she even suggested that we use their flatrate box that would lessen our shipping expenses. She handed us her tape and scissors and instructed us how to do things step by step. She was just so nice! I'm glad we came to this office! read more

They open the door in the pick up window in a timely manner. I now feel as if they care about their customers.
