I came here to drop off a package that had a prelabel from Fed-Ex who even listed this location as a drop off. Tracey the manager looked at label where it said USPS, I saw that but every instruction I had said to drop it off here and again this was printed with Fed Ex logo on it . She said I would have to go to the post office. When I just asked her why (further explanation as they are a USPS priority store) and to hear me why I was there, her voice got loud and irritated. FYI there is no one else in the store. I get it don't take my package but why are you so fast to get irritated by a customer asking for more information, but honestly after getting on here and seeing all the bad reviews, it makes sense lol read more

I went once and was helped by a sweet guy. It seemed like an easy place to go. I was wrong. I went back trying to ship some things. The lady said they can't print anything. I said last time I came, the guy printed and everything went smoothly and she said "forget about him." I couldn't believe how rude she was. And I was in a great mood that day. Anyway the UPS store down the street has the nicest people. I like to support local businesses but that was probably the rudest lady I've dealt with in LA and that's saying something. Glendale typically has good customer service. Oh and the one time I used it, my package was lost. Never again. read more

What a horrible place. Terrible/uncaring/unknowing staff. Tuesday, I get a notice from UPS my package has been delivered to 501 W. Glenoaks. Friday I went to pick it up, the place looks DESERTED. I yell "Anybody home?" and a woman comes out from somewhere in the back. I show her my UPS tag, and she says "it's not here. Come back tomorrow. The owner will be here. We open at 11:00, but don't come until 12, she opens late." She says go back home and get the tracking number after the package is delivered. I dutifully go home, and check the email from UPS ... it says the package WAS delivered to this location, on Wednesday. So, I print out the receipt from the email. I get back in the car, return to the store (where parking is a pain)--now an older lady is there; I presume the owner. I show her the printed-out receipt, with the tracking number, the dates & times, etc. She says "what's this"? I asked her if they are *new* at this UPS task? She is silent, wanders around in the back for multiple minutes, looking here, looking there, no over here? no, over there? in this box? Eventually she finds my package. The woman remains indifferent to anything I ask about being a UPS station, about customer service, etc. I can only assume she doesn't know much about either. They should lose their UPS affiliation. The UPS Store at 350 N. Glendale Ave is just he OPPOSITE! Always nice people, and they know what they're doing, and are efficient. read more

This place lost my Fedex package. They do not give a receipt unless you pay $1. I just spoke to fedex and they confirmed that this is not legal or allowed by their rules. Also everything is overpriced here...one time I needed a packaging tape and it was like $10. Another time I went there and no one was at the store, but the door was open...I called out a few times and no one came... well this explains how packages can easily be stolen! read more

The employees behave as though they have no training or would rather be anywhere else except working here. I honestly had enough with this place. My family and I we rent 4 mail boxes from her and we have been great customers of her for the past 12-13 years but her service keeps getting worse and worse. They have lost my packages multiple times, they have lost my escrow refund check, the folded my graduation picture and tried to fit it in the box when it actually says clearly on the hard envelope that there are photos inside and do not fold, and the list goes on. Today was yet another horrible experience. I ordered a dress that came in 6 days ago via fed ex and she says they never received it. I called fed ex and they said it was delivered via usps, Tracy who is the owner, kept saying no we didn't receive anything. She made me call the main usps office and the guy there said it was delivered to her. After about half hour of back and forth, she goes back and brings my package and she blames me for it because it had my middle name on it instead of my first name. I usually end up getting other people's mail in my mailbox cause either the sender puts my mailbox on the packages or they accidentally place it in my box without paying attention. It was so frustrating and embarrassing at the same time cause I ended up accusing usps for losing my package but thank God she finally was able to realize that was my package and I had to call usps and apologize to the person. I am hoping someone can recommend me a new mailbox place so my family and I can transfer everything to the new location. I'm just sick and tired of all these mistakes. She's always been nice to me but at the end of the day that doesn't matter and I need my mail to be correctly delivered to me. read more

I gave one star because zero stars is not an available rating. The. Buisness card and the "general manager" Tracy Chow both said USPS Priority mail drop off is a service they provide. I dropped a prepaid package off to her last Monday asked her to scan it and for a receipt she claimed they didn't scan it there and everything was scanned at post office. Now a week later my package hasn't been scanned and I went in twice in one day the 1st time she said to go check with the post office the 2nd she said " I don't remember you". Really, now you don't remember me. TRACY CHOW at ABC Mail Box Rentals in Glendale is a thief!!! I had been there before at least 3 times shipping merchandise I sell and she knew that was new merchandise. Tracy I believe is directly responsible for taking my package, telling me " it's ok, that's how we do it". Absolute incompetence!!! Wait in line at the post office or find another drop off. Steer clear of this retarded little shipping store that belongs in an episode of "The Twighlight Zone"! I am just out merchandise now. Never had a problem with this place! Friendly service and fair prices. Even better prices if you pay up front with a full year or even a few months at a time. Location kinda sucks since there's no way to turn left into their lot from Pacific, so instead of dodging tickets, I go around to catch the light to turn into the lot legally. BUT there's ample parking! They've always been accommodating with my (sometimes) late payments, or when I call to ask them to check if a specific package is there. The Asian woman is the best! Since it's a street address, they accept all UPS packages, etc with no problem. They will sign for you. Very convenient. Most places don't deliver to P.O. Boxes. read more

A zero star option should really be available in Yelp, because it would be the only appropriate option for ABC Maibox (also called Advanced Business Center). For hassle-free package pick-up and drop-off, I would recommend going to ALIK PRINTING instead, which is located at 565 Glenoaks Ave., just a few blocks from ABC Mailbox. Now, a few points of caution about ABC Mailbox: 1. The proprietor is DISHONEST. I had a pre-paid UPS package for drop-off, and she said it would cost a dollar. I said firmly, "That's not true. I've dropped off pre-paid UPS packages at other businesses before, and I have never been charged for a pre-paid package. If that's the case, I'll drop this off elsewhere." She quickly changed her demeanor and said, "It's ok, you don't have to pay." The next time I went there to drop off another pre-paid package, an employee told me that it would cost a dollar. Again I pushed back, but the employee stated that she had specific instructions from the proprietor to charge people for dropping off packages. I went to Alik Printing instead and asked the proprietor there if he ever charges customers for dropping off pre-paid UPS packages, and he said no. I also called UPS directly and reported ABC Mailbox's dishonest practice. UPS confirmed that customers should not be charged for dropping off pre-paid packages. One might say that a dollar is nothing, but the practice is dishonest and unacceptable. Unfortunately, other customers did pay the dollar, and ultimately, I believe that is the proprietor's trick -- to choose a denomination that is low enough to escape suspicion in many cases. The proprietor also charges $2 extra for a pack of stamps. A customer complained, and the proprietor merely responded that she charges $2 as a fee. Seriously? Go to the grocery store or the post office instead. 2. The proprietor is INEFFICIENT. When I picked up a UPS shipment, she asked if the item was packed in a box or in a package. Apparently, she "organizes" shipments by either boxes or packages, rather than by the recipient's last name. Seriously, unless I packed something myself and shipped it to myself, how am I expected to know? She finally located my package after a while, but then it took her almost as long to figure out the handheld device to scan the barcode. There is nothing "Advanced" about Advanced Business Center. 3. The proprietor is RUDE. She is selectively "nice," but for the most part, I have observed her to be rude. She was certainly rude to me, and she only tuned it down after I pushed back on her -- typical bully behavior. read more
