I was looking for a mailbox service that accepted both USPS mail and deliveries from UPS, Fed x, etc. I saw this business on Yelp and called to gather some information. Patrick was very good at explaining how the process works and was not pushy to get me to sign up. I visited the business the next day and Patrick set me up with my new mailbox. He even helped me ship out some stuff and get some copies of my keys made. The prices were very favorable and he was fast and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone in the area. This place is a great one stop shop for all things postal, supplies, and keys. They even mail boxes that you can rent! I had a huge painting to ship and Robert at Postal Pack n Ship helped me out, packed it up beautifully in a box with appropriate "fragile" and "this side up" stickers. I also had two keys copied and bought some supplies. We were in and out within half an hour for all of that. There's also a free attached self-parking lot that is shared with the other businesses. One of the rudest shop owners I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I was in town on business and had to ship a laptop out and Steve was dismissive, rude and flat out racist to the customer before me. I walked out and went to the UPS store. If you feel like using the N-Word is OK then THIS is your spot. If you AREN'T a giant racist then maybe go elsewhere. I usually don't leave a review but I am so satisfied with this place I had to. I walked in with what I thought was impossible to package a (98" x 48") artwork. Now I called several other places earlier in the day and they confirmed that cannot ship an item that big... 30 min later pat and Bob come out the back with my painting in a customized box, I couldn't believe how good it looked. They gave me the best DHL rate anyone had offered before. I'm happy to say my painting got there 3 days later to Italy! in perfect condition. I've been here several times to drop off my DHL packages. My company has their own account so I have not yet spent a dime with Postal Pack n Ship but, none the less, I feel compelled to write this review based on my experience today. I spaced out and forgot to write a very important piece of info on the outside of my shipment that I had dropped off to them earlier that day. When I realized my mistake at 2:45 I discovered that DHL was due to pick up in 15 minutes. I began to hyper ventilate at the thought of messing up this shipment to MY BOSS in Canada. To my utter surprise, delight and good health, Robert offered to write the information on the box for me. Not only did he, in fact do it, he texted me a photo of my shipment - immediately bringing my heart rate back down to a "non-risk" level. I've shipped a couple things here in the past that went OK, but recently needed to ship a package from LA to Argentina. The owner told me DHL was the cheapest option and would cost $800-900. Went to a USPS office and shipped it for $95. So uh....yeah. Seems like it depends who you get at this place, the younger employees seem to give you accurate numbers and do honest business and are very helpful, whereas the owner just makes things up to extort you or get you to leave. On one of the previous items I shipped, the younger employee charged $13 for packaging materials/labor, but when I got the quote for this most recent item of identical size, the owner said it would cost "at least $30" to package it on top of the shipping cost. read more

I really liked postal pack n ship, and let me tell you why: -the gentleman that helped me was actually helpful and friendly; -there is a parking lot (small, but not crowded, and lets be real, when you are shipping multiple things or one giant thing you don't want to have to struggle to find parking and then drag your boxes around); -I felt reassured that its a good business because while I was waiting there a few *regular* customers, who came in to drop things off (I figure if they keep coming back then Postal Pack n Ship must be doing something right! And it was nice to see that they actually knew each other); - and most importantly my packages got to their destinations safe and sound and on time The reason why this isn't 5 stars? The shop smells heavily of incense, which is less then desirable if you are sensitive to scents, or have allergies (like me). I ship out a lot and I'm always looking for convenient yet good service from different shipping locations around town. I've shipped from here atleast half a dozen times and the service has always been great. Believe it or not my favorite part about this place is that they have a large table that you can comfortably roll and package your item without any trouble. They also have many different types of shipping and packaging materials whether it's boxes, bubble wrap or tissue paper. This comes in really handy when shipping out fragile items. Parking is super convenient and the shopping center location is also easily accessible right off of Brand Blvd. I have never had a need for it but they also have PO Boxes available at this location. Last but not least there's a little supply store with basic office/shipping supply items inside. So if you're looking for a good, convenient and competent shipping location in the Glendale area this is it! read more

But Robert packed some goods I bought in LA perfectly. And for a price I consider very very fair. Great communication. Great service. All enough to earn a four- star rating easily. But when the ground-shipper damaged my stuff (idiots, in NO way PPS's fault), Robert really went to bat. He could have easily ducked it. Did not. And what a bunch of hassle for him. Just be on your Ps & Qs if you go here. The guy is nice and all but the costs for packaging and shipping can really add up and he's not really going to give you any alternatives. I could have shipped some of my packages in a regular flat rate envelope at the post office and came out much cheaper. He charged me $32 to mail a little purse. Then he tried to tell me that's standard because of the size of the box. Well why not use a smaller box or use a bag? As the days go by I get more and more upset about it. Mainly because there was no discussion about how much these things would cost before he just started pulling out boxes and wrapping things up. The first item I had him pack was pretty reasonable which is why I thought the rest would be too. I won't be going back there again. Im updating my previous review. The service has greatly improved from my last review date. The clerk/owner now calls me everytime a package arrive. Still a convenient place for picking up my mail/packages. No lost shipments so far. There is always parking available. 4-stars: Clerk/owner promised free month mailbox rent when I started my service but did not get it. Too much work if we have to re-draft a new contract-i guess. Hopefully he remembers when I renew when my lease is up a few months. read more
