I had a wonderful experience at this UPS store. I had to send a return through UPS and I was in the area so I stopped by. Parking that I found was right outside on the street, however it's a little weird because if you park right in front you still have to walk around the whole bushes to get to the little ramp to walk up into the store. The planter is quite long so unless you want to walk through the full bushes then you have to go around. On entering my first impression is that the store looks haphazard and messy, but the staff helped me so quickly that I was in and out probably in less than 60 seconds so hey if they are good at what they do then I don't care how the place looks! I love being able to get in and out speedily. Of course today was a Tuesday around 11 so less foot traffic at this time. read more

I'm shipping this small 8 x 6 x 4 box $25.99! So ridiculous. As I waited in line there was plenty of time to notice how unkempt the store was. Maybe they only pick up after themselves at the end of the day? But I'm writing this because as I waited in line, no matter how close I got to the counter, I was never acknowledged by any of the employees. And when I was finally being helped, I couldn't help noticing that employees would periodically emerge from the back looking for something in the front and while occasionally looking up at the crowd, never acknowledging their presence. And in my case, when the employee spoke to each other, they did so in another language. If customer service still exists, this store is immune to it. read more

Horrible UPS store with the worst staff. I believe my package was stolen by the young lady working at that location. I brought my two dresses to be returned, with a Happy Return, and I still have not received an update that UPS has received my package when it's been weeks. Absolutely unorganized and horrible customer service. Will be filling a claim and complaint. It makes no sense to me how I could drop off a package and the system is showing that it's not received so either it's been stolen or misplaced because that place is so disorganized. Clearly the person at the counter hates their job! Absolutely the worst attitude I've ever encountered at a business. I could understand if they had a full day of work but the store was only open for 15 min! I was returning something from Amazon and he told me I needed to buy a box, which I've never had to before. Then they made a snide comment saying, " It's common sense." I couldn't let it go because they just had a poor attitude! When I refused to pay I was told they'll ship my package back to merchant at their convenience. Seems super scammy to me all around. Apparently if you use the access point it's 5 dollars per box (when I called J crew they told me ups is not allowed to charge for an access point. Quick. Efficient & Friendly. I came here wants to drop off a package that was to be returned to Amazon. They absolutely did all of the work for me. They gave me that little slip that is your proof that you returned your item. There were no hiccups or anything. The entire transaction was simple and took all of two minutes. The gentleman who helped me was extremely quick, efficient, and definitely friendly. Even without asking, he gave me that little slip for proof of return. I'm not exactly opening anyone's eyes to a new issue here, almost every bad review on Yelp names her specifically. I wish I'd read reviews before going - interacting with her was a serious day-ruiner, and she was so unhelpful with my shipping needs that I ended up needing to go to a second location. I don't usually write bad reviews, I believe everyone is entitled to a bad day, unfortunately when you work in a place where you deal with customers, you should at least brush it off for a bit when you're dealing with them. This was my second time in this location since it's the closest and both times were bad experiences. The lady worker on the counter was huffing and puffing, displeased but I don't not see a reason why, only to believe that it's obvious she hates her job. Two other workers were also there not as displeased but not accommodating either. Excellence in customer service is almost obsolete but in this store, it's completely gone. With all the bad reviews, nothing has been done. I don't usually return Amazon through UPS but this time it did not give me Whole Foods as an option. It is way easier at Whole Foods. I've never had to pay for a box for an item that was already in a box. With that being said, I hope no one is getting laid off especially with the current UPS crisis. Fantastic job! I needed a document to be notarized and I searched on yelp to find a place. To my surprise I saw this UPS store offers that. I called to made sure ask yes they had a notary there until 6pm. So I drove there, found street parking. A very polite and helpful gentleman helped with get the document notaries. What a nice experience!! Never a fun thing to go to a shipping place especially with small kids usually but this place is different! Excellent staff, Jonathan, Justin, and Louisa went out of their way to help me figure out the cheapest way to send a package. I'm notoriously bad at trying to sell things online and then not make any money because I spend so much money on the shipping. Not only were they quick, efficient, and saved me money but they were so sweet with my four-year-old twin girls. They actually have a spinning wheel for kids so you can get a prize or a high-five. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. 3pm on THURSDAY MARCH 13, 2025-- 3 ladies were working in the front. All except one had a name tag. I was there to get notary services, as I walked in there was a few customers scattered not standing in line (all waiting for their own services) when the most unprofessional rude employee decided ask me what I was there for and then with attitude told to stand to the side and give everyone "some space" as if I was disrupting their work environment LOL. As I was waiting I noticed UNACCEPTABLE behavior from this (extremely long haired) employee. She would give other customers attitude and dirty looks, as if she owned the place. She is in desperate need of a reality check along with her coworker Elen. Elen was the notary agent that was assisting me, but she REFUSED to give me the name of her coworker who had LONG LIGHT BROWN HAIR WORKING 3pm on THURSDAY MARCH 13. I would like to repeat myself because my sole purpose of this review is to be noticed by UPS so these employees can a reality check that is much needed. Hands down, the UPS store, knows how to get it done, especially, if you're in a pinch, like I was. I highly recommend this place for all your shipping, packing, and returns, though they are a bit pricy. In any case, it was still worth it. Walking into this UPS store feels like stepping into a boxing match -- so enter at your own risk. I have frequented this UPS Glendale location for years because it's close to my vicinity but the loyalty does not pay off. I was there yesterday afternoon (12/3/24) around 5:45 pm to get my packages scanned in time for the last UPS pick up. I was there to drop off several labeled packages and waited patiently until no one was in line to have my packages scanned so I didn't make any customer in line wait -- even stacking them nicely to the far left where they would be out of the way and easy to scan. After doing all that, the girl at the counter (who by the way is also a notary there) told me that she could not scan my packages, that the scanner was "broken" and to just take photos of my drop off. I replied that others are dropping off their packages and getting scanned with receipts -- That I should get the same service as others whether I bring in 1 box vs several -- explaining that my packages are time sensitive,valuable and while I don't need a receipt, I would like to have them scanned. I know UPS policy and the employees here just have a terrible customer service attitude. It's as though they don't want to be bothered to work or be inconvenienced -- and they demand customers adapt to "their policy" of poor service and unacceptable behavior which is not reflective of UPS. They act as though they are doing the customer a favor to render any service. No one is managing these hostile employees and they feel very comfortable insulting and disrespecting customers in a very aggressive manner -- escalating hostility vs leading with kindness and service. The employee from yesterday afternoon actually had me "service her" by having me move all my packages (she can't lift even small lightweight boxes) to the opposite side of the counter as she finally begrudgingly scanned my boxes and told me that she didn't care if I reported the incident. Obviously she doesn't and the experience left me so hurt and disturbed that I will be writing to UPS headquarters directly because this is abusive. I just can't believe ownership of this UPS Glendale store doesn't address this serious problem. The negative complaints are obvious and consistent through the reviews but nothing is done to solve the problem. You don't even get a smile at the counter or a nice greeting. I have witnessed so many customers patiently wait in line only to get treated poorly and nothing changes. It's like Mean Girls Gone Wild! Then there is the guy with the pony tail who periodically works there and argues with every customer who requests a receipt. There are a couple of very nice employees that I try to catch when I frequent the store. However, if these few select employees are not working on a given day, you get these mean employees like yesterday's evil twins that tag team as the worst of the worst -- they are very confrontational, argumentative and just rude, lazy and mean. They feel empowered by and take pride in insulting customers. How many complaints will it take to make changes that reflect a good customer experience? I wonder if my packages actually made it in the truck yesterday afternoon or if they were held back due to the lack of care of these negligent employees. This is just unacceptable. Management should step in and review the tapes to actually get a sense of what's taking place daily -- and make an effort to implement a positive company culture that reflects professionalism, kindness, respect and good service. It appears to be too much to ask for when it comes the way this store operates. read more
