Came here to check on PostalWorks hours and was shocked to see a three star rating. I have been coming to PostalWorks for 20 years and they have always been lovely, friendly and helpful. The store is well curated and stocked with interesting things to look at and enjoy. The parking lot is awkward - but that has nothing to do with PostalWorks. read more

Shocked to see bad reviews here. I have been coming here for almost 5 years. Have a PO Box there, send packages, print and copy things. Never an issue. Employees are incredibly nice and helpful. They all know me and always say hi and ask how I'm doing. . Parking lot is small but if there is an issue park at TJ's and run over. Never had an issue with that. read more

I discovered this because I was on foot looking for an emergency printer in the area. I did not know that they shipp packages. On imaps a mailbox appears in this shopping center but it is not clear if it's a mail box or a business... it's postal works. So if you need to drop off a package, you can do it here. I saw UPS, UPSP bins. Postal works, get your manager to clean up your digital print. You have so much to offer but it was hard for me to find the services y'all provide. read more

This business has the worst parking lot location and customer service too. I battle the parking lot and get to the door at 4:40 which the hourly worker, set to automatically lock after each customer walks out. I had a large box in my hand and could not catch the swinging door. I called and the employee states that 'he's running behind and chose to close early'. Great, glad I follow the hours posted online and on the door to have the employee decide to close early. I am not supporting this inconvenient location ever again! read more

"Packages go missing from here all the time" - the stoner employee to me when I enquires about 100 holiday cards that we mailed from postal works that never got delivered to any of our recipients. Do not trust this place for mailing anything you actually want to get delivered. The employees and owners do not care. They sell overpriced cards and cookbooks. Support businesses that actually care about their customers and shop elsewhere. read more

Wow wow wow wow wow As I was passing by, my eye caught on books & stationary. I said okay, I have to go in... just to see. In the back there's an entire section of letters, boxes, mailing supplies, etc - & I'm assuming this store is where the postal, works. It took 5-10 minutes to make my way around the store (it's small) BUT it has incredible variety, & it apparently functions as a post office bc it has FedEx shipping AND mailboxes that can be rented for 24 hours (unsure if longer, but maybe). Luckily they were closing within a few minutes (6:30pm), so I could not blow my paycheck. The far right side is entirely of greeting cards, and within the aisle there are candles, cute home things, trinkets, etc. In the dead center is all the little kid/baby stuff that I didn't look through bc I'm not ready to reproduce. But that one stuffed dinosaur I saw on the shelf kind of tugged at my heart strings. What I really loved, is there is a section for "pet sympathy." One of the illustrated cards had a human driver w a dog in the passenger seat... it was just heartwarming that's all I'll say. It made me really want to give my dog the biggest hug. I love that they have a section like this because it's such an important and overlooked area of peoples lives. Super great location so come here with a ton of other things to do but honestly if they weren't closing within ten minutes of my arrival, I could've stayed in this 2 ft by 4 ft store for hours. We are so happy to have PostalWorks in the neighborhood! It's a great place to ship packages, as you can guess from the name. But it's also an amazing gift store featuring a fabulous selection of cards, books, home decor, and gifts for all ages. I stopped by recently to buy some small gifts and stocking stuffers. No sooner did I get home than my daughter said she needed to buy a Christmas present for some people in the family and she wanted to go to... Postalworks! If you love to shop local and support neighborhood stores, Postalworks is a gem! The people who work there are also nice and friendly. Insider tip is to go on the early side, walk or park on Griffith Park Blvd because finding a space in that little shopping plaza parking lot can be tough. read more

Lost my UPS package. Dropped off a UPS package here with a sonos wireless speaker inside. Asked for a scan, was told to just put with the other UPS packages and they would be scanned by the driver. The next day, when the tracking did not update, I called and they said that it had been picked up and there were no packages left behind, and the driver probably just missed scanning it, and there was nothing they could do. The package was never scanned in and UPS will not honor my claim since there is no documentation of acceptance. Use the drop off at Hyperion cleaners instead. read more

This place is rude and inept. As with many neighbors, we go simply because it's convenient. I handed them a UPS overnight package at 11:30 AM only to find out the next day that it hadn't shipped. Then they claimed it wasn't their responsibility to do so!!! Then why are they a shipping depot?! I will never deal with them again!!! read more

Came for the postal, stayed for the works. Surprisingly creative collection of books, cards, and gifts for all ages. I ended up finding a leopard print canvas baggu tote for myself, a sweet little mouse plush for my niece, and a cool surfing book for brother in law who's impossible to shop for. I literally went in with no plan to buy anything whatsoever but I swear they have something for everyone. Plus, I was able to ship the thing I needed to ship. What a perfect experience for Independent Bookstore Day! This was my first visit to PostalWorks (how did I not know about it before?!?) and I will be making it a regular stop. I came specifically for the Blackwing pencils but left with SO much more and ordered three books as well. They carry an eclectic variety of well-curated items, from notebooks to kitchen accessories, to postcards and greeting cards. to a huge selection of items for kids. I had been a customer of Postal Works for many years, though moved to Orange County full time about 7 years ago and dropped my personal mail box service. A month ago, I placed an order with an online retailer, but accidentally used my OLD Griffith Park Boulevard PMB address. OOPS! I noticed the order had been delivered, but I could not find it -- It took a while for me to figure out where I had actually sent my goods! (D'oh!) When I called Postal Works, the manager was very helpful, acknowledged my parcel had been received. I think, she would have been well within her rights to return the package to sender. But she graciously agreed to hold the parcel until I could retrieve it a week later. THANK YOU! and most appreciative for the thoughtful extra effort. I was able to retrieve my order with no additional fuss to me, to the Post Office, or to the original sender. I recommend them. read more

This is one of the rare post offices that don't have a line out the door and everyone was so helpful in me packaging an item.. The smaller boxes are free but bring tape to close it. And if you forgot, they sell packaging tape with the roller there. read more

I drop off packages here 1-2 times a week. Never had a problem. Cute store- good for last minute packaging supplies or small gifts. Little pricey if you buy a mailing label from here, but staff is helpful. Everyone is always nice and courteous. Parking lot can be a bit crazy- I try to go before noon. read more

This place does not enforce a mask mandate - show up w/ a bandana loosely applied, take it off after you've been at the counter -no problem. They also pack the store. 15 people when i was there, one maskless person, no social distancing. read more

They sale book calendars stuff for the office and have P.O boxes. The worker are nice and friendly. The asian guy. I just needed to drop off a UPS mail. Thankfully it's around the corner from where I was having lunch. Parking is in the plaza but it gets packed. Other stores and restaurants. Or you can find street parking. Cute store been there probably for years and years cause I've seen it before. Never needed to use it. read more

rude staff. asked if I drop prelabled and stamped package and then told to wait while two staff continue to discuss personal matters while labeling things standing in that same spot. was made to wait 5 minutes in silence with no answer until I walked out. staff attempting humiliation of customers is pretty. lived next door for 9 years and have tried to avoid because of this exact condescending attitude of these dinosaur old means of business. Helpful yet Incompetent. I dropped off a package to be shipped, and notified staff that it needed a tracking number to show that it had been shipped that day. I was not informed that USPS would not pick up for another 2 days and it was not officially considered 'shipped' until it was picked up by them. Once I found this out the next day, I called back and had them set the package aside so that I could retrieve it, however when I arrived, it had already been given to USPS by mistake. This is the worst most unprofessional business I've ever been in contact with. I paid almost seven hundred dollars for a package (that at this same business cost me $200 to send many times before when there were other people who were nicer working here) My $700 package never arrived & every single employee here spoke to me multiple times with 100% rudeness. I'm not sure why they are so mean. I am not American & they all vocally disrespected my home country, questioning why should a package even go to such an address which was abstract to these employees but I think their ignorance of other countries is off the scale. Which is weird for a mailing place, which should be inclusive. I have a baby & they made fun of her crying while I was on the phone with them so many times. The manager Alex told me he would call me back & he never did; so many times. It's honestly been three months now & there is no hope of my package ever getting there. I have been on the phone dealing with this for three months which is unfair & pointless. I wish the people who used to work here would come back because they were lovely & they made sure my many packages which I've sent to the same address at least ten times, for much cheaper than $700 at least got there on time. I paid $700 cause the employees at this business told me it would arrive by Nov 15th. I'm not sure why these employees just don't care. Nor why they are so painfully not polite & aggressively horrible to little ones. I'm scarred by this experience. Alex if you are reading this I think you should at least track my package lol. I spoke to someone this morning who was extra rude on the phone again.... & they told me Alex will call me back & Alex never does. Not sure what else to do at this point. read more
