I'm giving 5 stars to the male Hispanic clerk that works in this post office. Every time I go, he is working by himself. He is very efficient and very helpful with all his customers. I wish he can get some help because lines can get very long. I know he does everything he can to help and to speed up the process but when you are by yourself it can be very tiring. read more

If you are bored and have nothing better to do than wait in a line that moves as fast as molasses then this is the place for you. I walked in to buy some stamps and saw a long line and decided to go across the street and buy a drink and come back. I enter the post office again and the line hasn't moved or barely moved. I waited patiently enjoying my drink and the line still wasn't moving. My coworker used to work at a post office and definitely her description would put this crew on duty as F Troop. This is my local post office i always come here and the service is really good. now there is this two new employees and they this ladys are so rude i heard them literally complain about about everything i brought like 6 packages and they had to scan the labels from my phone and she was telling the other lady that how she hates when they have to scan and why cant people just print their own labels keep in mind i was literally infront of her when she was saying this and they are always so rude next time i went the other lady was on her phone sitting there and i went to her and she said that she cant take me right now to go to the other lady and i was like okay then she was taking my packages with attitude and then someone else was on the line waiting i had acouple packages and the lady that was on the phone finally decided to get off from it and take the other customer and another day i went and they where playing music aloud from their phone that was cussing which is so unprofessional and then this guy came to ask aquestion while she was helping me he asked where does he drop off the envelope and then i hear her tell the other lady with red hair that poeple get so comfortable just coming up to ask them questions like if doing ur job bothers u then why is she working on customer service this ladys are so unprofessional they are both african American one has yellow hair and i belive other has red they are new i genuinely wonder how they get hired anywhere that has to do with customer service unprofessional,rude and lazy complain about doing their job. I do not recommend this place whatsoever to anyone at all. I got to the post office after walking 45 minutes to get there on time and arrived at 5:57. I was stuck at a red light waiting for the crosswalk sign to come on and a worker, or manager, not sure who... Saw me waving my arms to get their attention and lock the door as I was running across the crosswalk. As I bang on the door before closing time, he looked at me shook his shoulders and basically told me to go away.Beware!!! read more

Hmmm. Tough review. Ok. There was only one employee and a line of about 20-25 people. He seemed pleasant and doing his best to get through his shift. People kept coming in and dropping off priority packages that just kept staking up high. When I finally got to him about 25 min later I asked why he was all alone. He said people were sick and had called out. He joked about wearing a diaper since he would not get bathroom or lunch breaks. I think he was serious. He quickly helped me with my package and saved me a few $ by taping up envelope. It was messy but he got the job done. I am so grateful he was there but really wish the branch would have had more support for him so that customers wouldn't wait so long and postal workers were treated better and given full breaks. read more

I come here a lot because it is the location closest to my office and I mail quite a bit of stuff for business and my hobby. The workers here for the most part are super helpful and friendly. The location is generally clean. The big problem is there is almost always a huge line here, and COVID has only made it worse. I don't know why most days there are only two clerks working out of like 5-6 windows regardless of the fact that there are 20+ people waiting for service. And it's not just like this is a holiday rush or something, it's perfectly normal to swing by on a random wed afternoon and find 10+ people standing in line. Go here if you want piss poor customer service. They always manage to lose my packages and mails. This time they put my packages on top of my mailbox in visible view instead of at my door and it was stolen/lost/who the heck even knows what happened. There is no customer service phone number to call and I had to "open an investigation" and wait 24-48 hours for a phone call. But it's been 3 days and I have not gotten any calls back. I've never had any problems with other delivery services such as UPS/FedEx/Amazon. Had to call Amazon to block this incompetent delivery service from delivering any future packages. They said that unfortunately there's no option to block it completely but at least they can put USPS at the bottom of the priority list. I don't even like Trump but I agree that USPS should have been defunded. Oh and if you think they give a crap about customer service, they really don't. That is why they never call back, have such crappy ratings on Yelp and why their employees will laugh at every single one of your reviews because they think it's hilarious and don't really give a f*ck you're expressing your frustrations with their crappy service. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have had more issues receiving my mail since this has been my local post office than all my other years combined. I avoid sending or receiving anything via USPS but many times as the receiver it is out of your hands. Oh and don't even bother trying to request to have something re-delivered, they'll just ignore it until it's lost or returned to sender. You have to either physically go in and (try) to get it yourself or chock it up to a loss. read more

I am a UK based customer who regularly sends packages to a friend who lives in Lincoln Heights so therefore post comes through this post office. There is one USPS driver at this post office who is incredibly lazy - he/she won't even bother to walk up a few steps to leave a package outside an apartment door. These are packages that do not need a signature and during covid times can be left outside by my friend's apartment door. This post person will just leave a card saying the recipient wasnt in without even bothering to check. This laziness is frustrating not only for me as the sender but also the recipient. The post person did this on Tuesday 10 November 2020, the recipient arranged for the package to be redelivered on Thursday 12 November - nothing was delivered. Here in the UK, I can track the parcel with Royal Mail and USPS so I know that USPS have made no attempt to redeliver the package. This is wrong - please do something about the lazy post person because he/she isnt doing your reputation any good. I have given one star based on the laziness of the postie - your other posties are brilliant and deliver to the apartment door. Sort it out please and stick to your redelivery times otherwise people will think that their post has been stolen! read more

This is my preferred post office in the area. The clerks are always friendly and efficient every time I go in, and I haven't had any packages lost from here either. They don't have their own parking lot but you can park in the Auto Zone parking lot and walk over or you can park on the street if there's a spot open. It does sometimes get backed up with a long line with only one or two clerks at the counter even though it's busy, which knocks it down a star, but all in all this is a good location. read more

I never have to wait in line here for help even on weekdays around lunch time. The workers seem to have their routine down so the line (if there is one) moves really fast. Parking could be better, though! You'll have to park in a lot around the back and across the street. It's a little hard to navigate into since the entrance is tight. I went to this post office and i handed the wrong mail to one of the employes, i asked for his position and he said he was the Manager. The mail service people at the station are great, I've had nothing but good experiences with them. But it's a shame when one of the mail carriers LIES about your pets in order to be mean. As we were putting our dogs from the house into the car, the substitute mail carrier came along and startled them. Of course they barked a little bit but nothing that was threatening. They didn't even come near her. Even so, this woman started to yell and scream at us, and even tho we apologized to her for being startled, she later complained to her supervisor, claiming that our dogs were interfering with the mail being delivered! That's an outright lie. We even had to sign a letter stating that we would restrain our dogs properly. I'm offended by the fact that she thinks it's ok to lie about us. It's shameful behavior and she has no honor nor ethics! read more

Normally, I find it a nuisance to review service centers like banks, post offices, or gas stations... but this place deserves another 5 star review. This location has, by far, the friendliest post office staff I have ever met. EVER! Everybody seemed happy about helping me out with even the smallest of requests. I have only been to two Post Offices my entire life, this one, and the one in Downtown Claremont. Both locations are always super helpful and super friendly. The lines can be practically going out the door but IF THE CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF YOU ARE COURTEOUS and have their stuff together and organized, the lines usually move pretty fast. There are some things that make this location a higher caliber branch. First, every employee is, at the very least, bilingual. Usually English and another language. Second, this location is located in the barrio and I'm sure they run into characters from time to time. Props for bravery. Third, they have a huge parking lot conveniently located right behind the post office. Fourth, they will usually be stocked up on shipping materials, boxes, envelopes, etc, etc. Love it! read more

Don't go to this Post Office if you actually care about having your mail delivered. I sent out over 100 invitations for a wedding and am shocked at how many have completely disappeared. None were returned and tons were never delivered. I used a label template so I have copies of all the addresses used on my computer and know for a fact that they were correctly addressed. The staff is nice, but that's not going to make up for this. read more
