This center is fantastic. It was my first visit, and the reviews don't do this location justice. I dropped off 21 XL boxes this morning in the pouring rain. The ladies at the front were so helpful, quick, and even the last minute packing tape I purchased was cheaper than I expected. I came in this morning uncertain of how fast I'd be able get in, out, and back to Home Depot to drop off a vehicle rental but It took more time unloading the van than it did checking out. I had five star service at this FedEx Ship Center. I highly recommend it. read more

Fed Ex is the absolute worst shipping company in the country. I live in an apartment building and it is impossible to get them to deliver to my door. They have left heavy packages in the lobby even though I ask them to delver to my apartment door. (I am disabled and cannot carry heavy packages to my door) On occasion, they have left my packages outside the building and they have been stolen. They don't allow you to add additional delivery instructions on your account. You cannot speak to a human online. The only way to actually contact them is via a long and frustrating phone call but they don't act on your complaint. I have canceled my accounts with Chewy and other companies that use FedEx and I am about to cancel my business with another company that exclusively uses FedEx. I have NOT had these issues with UPS, USPS, Amazon, DHL or any other shipping companies. It is only Fed Ex that seems to have such bad service and horrid customer service read more

I went on a Thursday around 2 pm and it was extremely slow service. There was ONE person assisting customers as others were walking around chatting in the back (they can be heard from the waiting area). There was one customer at the counter with quite a few packages and the about 3 people in front of me. More people started to come and wait behind me, but still, no other employees came to assist. About 5 minutes later, the line has yet to move and another customer has come in and joined the long line. FINALLY, another rep comes out, but he went right back to the back to check for boxes. Another two customers come in and join the line that isn't moving. After returning, he informs a customer looking to purchase boxes that he needs to go even further to the back to check "the stock". This place used to be efficient, but apparently not so much on a Thursday around 2 pm. I wouldn't even be here if FedEx properly delivered my package. They marked it as no one was home and left even though there was someone home. Disgraceful. read more

Horrible. Fedex used to be a customer focused company, guess that died years ago. Failed delivery, wrong pictured location in attempts. Claimed 3 attempts not going to try again, contact seller/shipper. Tried to talk to fedex and they won't acknowledge the proof of picture does not match house. And there is no recourse! This seems to happen around holidays more often then not, temp workers? Then again its not their fault, a 'brand' used to have some meaning. read more

I was told by fedex that a $2000 escooter was delivered to me and that I personally signed my signiture. Fedex provided me with a "proof of signiture" form that provided a typed name which was a misspelling of my name and a note declaring that a "signiture is currently unavailable." Thanks to fedex George at fedex station 910 in Arcadia who has attempted to get the carrier manager to phone me ( he never did,) and advising me that the driver no longer works there and fedex was to begin an investigation. Me thinks the now unemployed ( no proof he's gone ) driver is riding around town in a 2000 dollar escooter. Word to the wise- dont ship thru fedex. Will update at end of supposed investigation. Avoid Shipping FedEx. Here's why: I recently sent a package by Federal Express that was lost at one of their processing stations. Lost delivery is a disappointing trend at FedEx. The information that follows was gathered by a number of sources - including FedEx employees - that may be helpful in knowing what your risks and challenges are when shipping by FedEx. 1) A FedEx employee recommended overnight delivery when shipping with FedEx. This is because most lost and damaged deliveries occur with a more handlers with ground shipping. Keep in mind that FedEx does not guarantee overnight delivery. 2) A shipping box is less likely to be damaged by the processing machines. Items in soft containers or paper envelopes are more likely to be damaged. Damaged items are often trashed because delivery people do not want to be blamed for a damaged package. 3) Immediately report a delivery that does not arrive on time. FedEx is more likely to lose your delivery if it is not reportedly immediately. FedEx also has restrictive time for reporting an item that is lost or damaged. 4) Federal Express does not insure packages; you need to declare a value and pay extra. I saw the truck from my balcony, and thought "great it's here!" Truck pulls over, idling, driver on device a moment... Then I get a notification on my phone: "Customer not available or business closed. Access is controlled by customer." I called customer service immediately begging them to contact the driver. No ring, knock, or door tag! This was an expensive, overnight delivery...but they react like what I'm saying is impossible. People usually come to Yelp to leave really good or really bad reviews. On my visit to this location Louie helped me mail out a package out. Right away greeted me as I entered the building and acknowledged my presence. He then proceeded to help the person in front of me making small conversation, even though he was wearing a mask you can tell he was smiling and really enjoyed his job. I understand we are all going through a hard time, some more than others. But I have to say it felt good to walk into a place be greeted and welcomed with a smile. (That was covered by a mask). For a minute or two during our short conversation I forgot we were in the middle of epidemic and facing unprecedented times, thank you for that. I picked up some glass art at FedEx, and the worker (pic below) dropped them as he tried to put them on the service counter. When I said something, he proceeded to blame me for the packages falling (dude put them barely on the edge of the counter, like he's never heard of gravity). When i pointed out his lack of customer service, he stated to ignore me. This continued when I asked for his name, he refused to talk to me. The system don't update promptly, I have a package need an adult signature, we wait at home 5 days because of we keep receiving a text saying driver will come between 11:40 to 3:40. By the 5th day, the package actually in the center. Their customer services call no one pick up, their driver don't knock at doors, the gate is open but the driver never bother to push the gate open. Updating 10/19/2022 - The one star is for the people at their actual brick-and-mortar location, who are okay, and for the kind lady at customer service I spoke with to make a complaint. By the way if you want to speak with a human being about this location, you have to call 866 477-7529. There is no local number for the San Fernando Road location. I asked. But at the number above you get connected with a person quickly without having to go through all those garbage automated menus that disconnect you if you press "0" to try to reach a live person. That said, if I could give a negative rating for their delivery drivers, I would. Because they still are completely unreliable! And they still can't be bothered to open my small gate and place the package inside. The gate is very clearly open and doesn't even have a lock on it. Package theft is at an all-time high here in my neighborhood, so putting packages inside deters package theft. If theives can't see the package from the street, they are less likely to think there is anything to steal. Fed-Ex drivers at this location are absolutely useless. read more

I ship my brother a package once a month for the past 4 months. It's an international delivery so FedEx is my only option and each time I have to ship him his package, I'm forced to go to a different facility due to their incompetence, lack of proper assistance and poor customer service. Seems as if shipping overseas confuses most especially to remote areas - I was charged different rates each time and was given a different ETA for the very same package I ship out every month. I grew tired of asking questions w/out any reasonable answers. I found this location and even-though its a further drive out for me, it has better ratings than most FedEx. I'm very thankful for Louie (unsure of spelling) who was so kind and professional - he went the extra mile that the others didn't, to help me figure out a.) the problem reps encounter with my shipment each time and b.) figure out how to prevent it in the future. He was extremely helpful and polite throughout the entire process. People like him should be in charge of running a store. FedEx has completely abandoned its customer promise and lost my trust in where their values lie. I paid $285 for a priority overnight shipping to get my niece's birthday present to her (when I couldn't travel to be there in person due to a Covid exposure). FedEx took EIGHT days to deliver the package. When I called to request a refund for the huge priority surcharge fee I paid, FedEx said that "they are not accepting any refund requests for packages sent from Nov 1st - January 6th". Furthermore I spoke with an agent for 30 minutes who insisted there was no way to receive any refund, no way to receive any credit, no way to speak to any manager or to write any feedback email. Essentially, they are wiping their hands clean of ANY responsibility in their service and giving customers zero recourse for their own failure to deliver on time. Companies make mistakes -- it happens. But their character and values are shown in how they address them, respond to them, and learn from them. This is a company that has lost its belief in strong customer service. And they have lost my future business. read more

I would leave ZERO stars if I could. I paid extra for Fed Ex to deliver on a Saturday. I go to check the tracking - it says failed delivery attempt. Despite the fact that I was HOME and I have supplied my gate code and phone number to Fed Ex multiple times. This is for a perishable item that I need for an event tomorrow. So I call Fed-Ex and first they tell me the package will be redelivered same day. I go and check the tracking again - it says the package will now be delivered MONDAY. So I call Fed Ex back and they told me I could pick up the package at this location. So I drive to this location to get my package...and I am told the driver is still out with my package. So then I ask if the driver can simply redeliver it since they are still out. They said no because they are understaffed. Could I pick up the package tomorrow morning (the last possible time to get it before the event)? Nope, they are closed tomorrow. They offered no assistance whatsoever, except telling me I could drive back AGAIN after 4pm and MAYBE the driver would have returned by then. When I explained that I had paid extra for a Saturday delivery and the failed delivery was Fed Ex's fault, I was met with total indifference. This lack of customer service is NEXT LEVEL.
