Free parking in their lot and on the street. Some of the employees are amazing and go above and beyond to help you find the best rate for what you need to ship. During COVID, masks are required in store and there are social distance markers. I've seen employees on occasion wear their masks below their nose but there are also some barriers between them and the customer. They are not always well stocked so I've had to ask for supplies like boxes of a certain size, and will bring them out when asked. read more

Well sadly another package of mine got misplaced it says delivered in/at mailbox and I never got it my caregiver looked in both mailbox's since there 2 one of them is the owners other is mine and other tenants Sadi this post offices has unprofessional workers carriers this is not acceptable come on usps do your job packages either get misplaced and carriers not putting them in secure places this is not the first time this has happened usps got to do a better job at handling this situation because sadly this is one of the worst post offices ever if it continues they going to have to deal with us customers they have to take responsibility for there actions and be held accountable to get it together usps!!! This review is about the African American woman employee at the El Sereno Post Office...we'll just call her AA. So I was mailing a big box across the country as I frequently do using the Priority shipping service, I remembered that I needed Priority tape, so I asked the clerk helping me if they had some Priority tape I could have, (which is FREE to customers using the Priority service), and I needed to package my upcoming eBay sales, she reached over n got a half used roll n put it down on the counter, n didn't say anything. About a second later this woman worker (AA) comes up n says "we cayn't be givin' away our tape, we need that tape, you need to go on the innernet to order that". So I was fighting myself not to say anything back to her, something like Does this come out of your check? Are you the tape police? Like WTH is this woman's problem! So anyway, about a minute later, I finish my transaction with the clerk helping me, and by this time AA has been ranting the whole time, I'm trying to get my receipt n leave, but it's difficult to understand my clerk when AA is ranting the whole time!! As I turn to walk out she calls me a leecher! This woman needs to be written up! This is totally unacceptable behavior for an employee, and especially in a government office. Maybe I should have said something back to her, IDK. Either way, avoid this woman at all costs!! Absolutely terrible service!! read more

This place lost a certified letter with $15,000 in savings bonds, and refuse to do anything to assist me in locating it! They only get a star because it's the lowest I can go. They've left me with ZERO RECOURSE! They lost or stole my savings bonds, and they tell me I can't do anything about it but hope it turns back up then they'll call me. The people at this post office have always been so friendly and helpful. Yeah sure, sometimes there are long lines but, time it out people. Nine years ago Helen and Kathy were incredibly helpful to me in getting seemingly endlesses packages sent out, always in a last-minute hurry. Then Henry came, and it always been unfailingly nice and patient. There are new people there and I've only been a couple times but they've also been nice. Delivery of the item could not be completed because the mail receptacle was blocked".... Funny thing is it wasn't blocked from getting my regular mail!!!! The staff at this post office are very kinda, polite, and helpful. The reason for my one star review is because someone takes the mail going into the post office drop box. I was mailing a money order for my car loan and dropped it off to be mailed. My auto loan company never received the payment. After doing an inquiry through the post office I now have a copy of my money order with a falsified name and notice of it being cashed to someone else. I don't know if it's someone associated with this branch or if someone goes through the mailbox and takes letters being mailed out. SUPER SHADY!!!! read more

This is the worst post office I've been to. Not only could the lady not speak English but when I went to send my package they would not simply tape it up for me. She actually forced me to buy a giant roll of tape when all I needed was simply a small piece of tape for my box. Our tenants purchase cashiers checks and drop off INSIDE the El Sereno branch slot or hand to the clerk and become missing, lost, stolen, sent back to the tenant with "cant send to this address" WHEN THE ADDRESS IS CORRECT, or show up 10 to 14 days after dropped off in the branch! There is someone or something not right going on here and when finally spoke to the supervisor last week she made is seem like she knew it was new employees, temps, or whatever and that's just the way it is. I will contact postmaster to investigate. We are missing 3 out of 6 rent checks this month that were WALKED INTO EL SERENO BRANCH 2 weeks ago. Not exactly the best experience. This place is like really close to where I live so I figured I would go there instead of driving to a FedEx. I am not one to ship or mail things so ofcourse I came in asking if there was anything I needed to fill out so that way it would be an easy and fast process. Right off the bat the guy started giving me attitude. He then walked away and when he failed to inform me that I had to add additional information instead of informing me in a polite way he told me "I thought you were done" and proceeded to help the customer behind me. Dispite his attitude and how he spoke to me I still treated him respectfully but I've learned my lesson next time I'll just drive to FedEx or UPS in Alhambra or Pasadena they're customer service is worth the drive, needles to say I wont be coming back. read more

My local post office. When we opened our first online store, we were shipping things out directly from this location. I cannot believe we put up with their bs for as long as we did. When we finally started pre-paying for our packages, we would drop them off at this location. The workers here would stop us so they could re-weigh each package. After standing in this LONG line it turned out I made the mistake of putting first class in a priority package. It already had a prepaid shipping label on it. They just pointed in a general direction and said you need one of those and took the next customer. They take their time and work like sloths it wouldn't have made any difference if they went the extra mile to help me repackage or offer to reprint the label, something!!! Like every post office, there's some negatives to it: long lines with slow service, mailing guidelines, etc. The only reason I am writing this review is for Jason. Before I moved close to this location, I had befriended one of the local postal workers who made each visit to the post office a good one. Jason does the same. Nice clean post office that is lacking in parking in the lot and on the street. It's right next to Mcdonalds just in case you get hungry. One thing that I notice is that the drive through mailboxes are on the left side of the property thus you would have to nearly drive past the post office to enter into the drive thru mailboxes. So what would happen on like Mother's Day when the line send mail would be a block long, that would create massive confusion for drivers in Los Angeles. FYI, the entrance is on a semi access road, it's semi so it will cause more confusion. read more

The parcel was so important to me and he went out of his way to help me. He allowed me to come back the next day to pay him. Too often people leave reviews when they are unhappy with products or services as opposed to when they are happy. Well I had a great experience at this location and wanted to give them credit. I was tracking a delivery from Amazon and was anxious for it because it was a product I really needed for my dogs. The package was due to be delivered on Saturday which was perfect because I could wait at home until the package arrived. Well around 11 something a.m., I get a mobile alert that there was an attempted delivery and to check for a notice. BS. There were three of us in the house and there was no knock, no ring, no notice. USPS has delivered to our home many times so our location is no mystery. Anyway, I phoned the post office and a very helpful lady answered. She was actually doing her job and was serious about helping me find my package. She connected me with the supervisor. He was equally attentive. Long story shorter than I could make it, they called me back later that evening and told me the package was delivered to one of the units in the rear. I'm assuming the postal guy came back. Really bad service! They always have attitude. I went in because they lost a really important letter that had a value of over $400. I was extremely upset, no one gives you any explanation. This letter had tracking number and when it got to El Sereno in Los Angeles 90032 USPS facility, it got lost. It ended up costing me to get a replacement that I'm still waiting for. I wish I never had gone there. For other people, my advice go to another post office to drop off packages or anything important! This post office always looses things! I would give them a negative star if possible. I originally sent a priority Express mail during the memorial day weekend and paid an extra shipping fee for guaranteed delivery by memorial day. However, the mail was not attempted to be delivered until the following day the 29th of May. I had insurance on my mail and was supposed to be given a full refund if the mail wasn't delivered on time, however, this office kept on making lies on way I wasn't allowed a refund and kept telling I was mistaken and gave me a non working number for their supervisor when I asked for a number. When I called another branch, they immediately looked up my file through my tracking number and told me I was eligible for a refund. This office employs a bunch of liars with a supposed "supervisor" that could not be reached... Also, they tried to give me other papers with my information without giving me back my original receipt. When I asked for my original receipt back they feigned ignorance before giving me my original copy back. read more
