You start inside, then get promoted to the outdoor expansion pack because apparently square footage is optional here. By the time you reach the front, you've aged emotionally. Staffing situation: one employee holding down the entire operation like it's a one-woman Broadway show except the performance is titled "Please Wait... Forever." Every window moves at the speed of dial-up internet in 1998. You could mail a letter and receive it back before your turn gets called. Will call? That's not will call. That's won't call. Packages go in, but retrieving them feels like trying to access a hidden level in a game with no instructions. And let's talk about the atmosphere. A fascinating mix of confused customers, restless energy, and a few random characters just lingering like NPCs with unfinished quests. Highlight of the visit: being told nothing, slowly. If you're planning to come here, bring: - Snacks - Water - A folding chair - Possibly a will and testament On the bright side, if you survive the experience, your patience stat will be maxed out for life.

The lines are usually pretty short, except for certain times of the year, the service is exceptional and the staff keep the store clean, decorated, and professional. Feels like a cut above all the other locations and I especially enjoy the decorations that they put up during certain holidays throughout the year. If you visit now, you'll see St. Patricks day decorations. I know, I know, who decorates for St. Patricks day??? It's silly and probably unnecessary, but it brightens up my day just a little bit and more importantly, it shows that they care. I've made hundreds of trips to this location and not once, did I have a bad experience. Junior and Jack really make an effort to try and keep the lines moving quickly, and they're very helpful in answering any questions you may have. I sometimes marvel at the patience that Junior has when handling difficult customers with non-sensical questions, while I stand there visibly shaking my head. It's worth mentioning that I've noticed that the staff here will sometimes work through their lunch hours without breaks, especially during the busy season, I sincerely hope that management takes note and provides the staff with enough assistance that they do not need to do so. It's sometimes disheartening to see that despite the long hours and great service, they'd be forced to skip lunches or breaks. I was hesitant in writing this review, thinking, "great, now the lines are going to be longer" but considering the many trips i've made to this location and the great service i've received from them, it seemed only right to give them the praise they deserve. It's a great location, but please go elsewhere.

Wow, what can I say? Not a pleasant experience at all, unfortunately. And this was two days before…read moreChristmas. My cousin needed a box for a white elephant exchange and an Apple gift card. This post office had both items, fortunately. There was only one other person ahead of us and the lady working at the counter was exchanging familiar holiday pleasantries with her, maybe taking just a tad bit too long. But whatever. When it was finally our turn, her tone and attitude did a complete 180. This seemed really odd to me, but then again, this is the post office. And I figured it would be a quick in and out; at least that's what I thought it was going to be. Every answer and sentence from this woman was curt and just super impersonal, like she didn't like the fact that we were there in the first place. No holiday pleasantries for us, I guess. And all we did was walk in. Things got worse after that. Apparently the Apple gift card he wanted to buy wasn't working and accepting money for whatever reason. And so she asked us to grab another one. That one didn't work as well. But she had already charged his card. 15 minutes later, after some computer keyboard magicianry, she ended up having to give only partial cash back from the total gift card amount since they didn't have enough cash on-hand in the register. The rest came in a money order that she had to process as well. So now we're being inconvenienced with having to carry around money orders because - for reasons that were really never made sense - the gift cards wouldn't take any money. Another staffer was there, maybe a manager, who had to put in his code in the computer to authorize these transactions. I told him maybe they should pull all the Apple gift cards from the shelves since they don't apparently work. He completely ignored me. Didn't even look my way. In the end, his colleague could barely muster up an apology for a 15-minute interaction that should've taken a couple minutes. I think I may have heard a whispered or muttered "sorry about that" at the very end. LAME!

I noticed the past couple of years at the lines are impossibly long at all times. I believe they may be understaffed. What's most upsetting to me is there is one employee who is so pushy. I once went in about half an hour after they closed to use the self-service machine and he literally made me stop mid-transaction and leave because he "wanted to go home'. I would expect that he would offer his help to help me finish my transaction more quickly. At least 50% of the time the machine does not read the QR codes. I either have to try the transaction multiple times or I have to enter the tracking number manually which invariably generates an error. Another time I walked in and granted it was one minute before closing but the doors were still open and he actually walked me back out after I was inside. Is it my fault that he didn't lock the doors when they were supposedly closed? I find it extremely frustrating. I have a job during business hours and often have to rush there just before closing. Because of these recent experiences I find myself looking for any other shipment service that I prefer to use instead. They're also open longer hours.
