I had made an appointment for my mom to get her real ID. Upon check-in (which was done online), we were given a number immediately. We sat down and waited to be called. It took about 20 minutes from check-in to being seen by someone. The process was relatively fast. Overall the process was pretty fast!

I also wanted a Real ID so I followed the instructions online, downloaded the necessary documents and was able to make an appointment. Today the appointment went smoothly and efficiently. I paid my fee, had a new photo taken and was done in less than an hour. Great work by staff there who were pleasant and cordial despite a very heavy workload.

I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:25 pm. Only three other people were there. A security officer told me to go to window 26 for a ticket. The woman at window 26 sent an e-ticket to my phone and asked me to have a seat. My number was called about ten minutes later. The woman at window 17 was helpful and efficient. I left at 4:47 pm. I have no complaints. Maybe 4:30 pm on a Wednesday is their sweet spot.

The second and last time I came here was a different story. There was a female employee who was yelling at people and pointing for them where to go. So unprofessional. When it came to my turn, I was confused to where she was pointing at and yelling at me where to go since she was behind the desk but she continued to just yell louder and give me attitude like I was a back in grade school. I'm a substitute teacher and I don't even talk to my students that way. I went up to her to ask her a question and she just gives me attitude back again. The other employee next to her was more patient and professional. But my goodness I've never had to deal with such a rude, unprofessional employee anywhere before. The whole DMV was just chaotic. I typically go to the one in Arleta and it's much more organized no matter how packed it gets. Definitely won't be back there again.

My 15 year old son was there working toward getting his learner's permit, and even he was blown away by her tone and demeanor. What should have been an exciting experience for him was made uncomfortable by the way we were treated. When you work in a customer facing position, professionalism and basic courtesy should be expected. Management really needs to do a better job ensuring the employees representing this location know how to speak to and treat customers with respect.

I had one renewal that was lost in the mail, and the wait times for the phone lines are horrendous. I wasn't eligible for online registration because I was too far overdue--they sent a notice to an old address that was updated for my license, but not my mailing address . Rose City got me a same day appointment on no advance notice, processed my renewal and handed me my new tags and registration on the spot. In quarantine we have had to Learn how to get things done without access to the normal resources, and normally that means not getting things done in person. This is one solution that's may seem contrary because you're walking into a building instead of doing it through the mail or phone, but everything gets done immediately. And with the way many government services are backlogged or overwhelmed, this is one instance where paying a little bit more to contract the services from a local business is worth the cost.

Upon arrival, we checked in simply by scanning the QR code, which was incredibly efficient. I was pleasantly surprised to see it wasn't very crowded, and our number was called almost immediately. The staff members were both helpful and efficient. My daughter quickly finished her fingerprints and photo, and was then directed to the next line for the actual written test. She mentioned the exam consisted of 46 questions in total, and she passed on her very first try to get her learner's permit! Having dealt with slow lines and rude staff at DMV locations in the past, this was a surprisingly pleasant, quick, and organized experience. Highly recommend scheduling a morning slot here.

Waited and waited, until I got tired and renewed with their competitor. But it gets worst, now they are creating all kinds of problems with an open claim, refusing and questioning and damages. Had never opened a claim in 15 yrs with this insurance and now that I need them they make it VERY difficult to lower their expenses. I don't recommend this insurance!! Learn from me. Never AAA again!!
