I had made an appointment for my mom to get her real ID. Upon check-in (which was done online), we were given a number immediately. We sat down and waited to be called. It took about 20 minutes from check-in to being seen by someone. The process was relatively fast. Overall the process was pretty fast!

I also wanted a Real ID so I followed the instructions online, downloaded the necessary documents and was able to make an appointment. Today the appointment went smoothly and efficiently. I paid my fee, had a new photo taken and was done in less than an hour. Great work by staff there who were pleasant and cordial despite a very heavy workload.

About 45 minutes before they opened Billy approached me and offered to process my registration before opening hours so that I didn't have to wait. Everyone is very kind and social, offering the best customer service experience that I have had. Billy and the whole team really set the bar high for service and customer care. I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:25 pm. Only three other people were there. A security officer told me to go to window 26 for a ticket. The woman at window 26 sent an e-ticket to my phone and asked me to have a seat. My number was called about ten minutes later. The woman at window 17 was helpful and efficient. I left at 4:47 pm. I have no complaints. Maybe 4:30 pm on a Wednesday is their sweet spot.

The second and last time I came here was a different story. There was a female employee who was yelling at people and pointing for them where to go. So unprofessional. When it came to my turn, I was confused to where she was pointing at and yelling at me where to go since she was behind the desk but she continued to just yell louder and give me attitude like I was a back in grade school. I'm a substitute teacher and I don't even talk to my students that way. I went up to her to ask her a question and she just gives me attitude back again. The other employee next to her was more patient and professional. But my goodness I've never had to deal with such a rude, unprofessional employee anywhere before. The whole DMV was just chaotic. I typically go to the one in Arleta and it's much more organized no matter how packed it gets. Definitely won't be back there again.

The staff here were efficient and pleasant to interact with during my visit. - - - - - - Like most DMVs I've visited, this location doesn't have the most convenient entrance /exit to the adjacent street. Overall, there were no signs of what to do or where to go, so make sure to ask around. No appointment? Walk all the way in and queue up. Visiting on a weekday afternoon at 4:10pm, I was able to get seen within 20 minutes (!) after receiving a number. Other than the difficulty finding the queues, there isn't quite "good" organization here. I would describe the location of each service as fairly chaotic, though the nice part is the waiting area is together, and the windows are on the sides. Once you figure out the process, though, its buttery smooth.
