The service was very well made, very quick I save a lot of hassle from needing to go to dmv to get things done and the owner is very nice. thank you read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. The upcharge is insane for simple services. Just go to the DMV. I thought I had a good experience transferring my car title here. Because it closes at 6pm, I was able to get here after work. I didn't know how much it costs to transfer a title at the DMV since it was my first time doing it, but I was charged $432 for it here via Zelle. It was a transfer between family members which means I didn't have to pay any use or sales taxes apparently. So I would've been charged only $15 at the DMV. I wish I asked for a breakdown of the charge and honestly just got some time off work to go to the DMV. He took advantage of the fact that I am new to this whole thing and overcharged me. I wish I did my research before coming here. I was deceived and scammed. When I called him about this afterwards he offered to mail me a $100 check for deleting my review . I want my money back. read more

Robert is such a sweet guy! He made dealing with DMV headaches so so much more manageable with his knowledge of the forms. I heartily recommend going to this autotag when you don't want to deal with all the main DMV offices. Thank you Robert!!! read more

I think this service is permanently closed. Called and no one answers. Drove by when they are supposed to be open (a Tuesday) and the steel roll doors were all down. Used this service several times and was always excellent! read more

I needed to re-register my car, and while searching for the nearest DMV on map, I saw Fast Vehicle Registration nearby. I decided to stop by to see if they could handle it. And I'm so glad I did!!! First and foremost, Robert, the business owner, is just amazing. He provided a level of help that you simply wouldn't get at the DMV (you all know how that experience can be) Another huge plus is that there's no waiting in line. There was one other person there besides me, but Robert help us both at the same time and everything was done almost immediately. I also saved nicley on services by going through him! I won't go into every detail, but just take my word for it, Robert is fantastic. And yes, he did ask me to leave a review, but honestly, how could I not? I'm super happy with the service!! If you have registration related needs, do yourself a favor and go here. Save yourself time, money, and stress! read more

Very pleased with the customer service that was provided and was happening to do business here I recommend this office to anyone is in need

Went in to see how much he charged for a renewal of the registration. In the past i've paid around $25 in other locations. He quoted me $100. lmfao. Found a kiosk by my house and paid $0 in extra fees. You have to be a complete imbecile to think that $100 fee to renew your tags in any way seems fair. Just with that I knew he lacked integrity. My one and only time here. I don't mind paying for convenience, but $100?! He must be hurting for business or he is just a complete imbecile. Don't believe me go in for yourself and see. read more

TLDR: go here, the bad reviews are fake and Robert is nice and had my tags ready within a week honestly, i think the negative reviews for this place either come from other businesses trying to discredit Robert or ignorant people who live in DTLA that don't know how vehicle registration works. in my experience, Robert was very sociable, honest and up front during my registration process. a disgruntled person even came in and tried to tell me to take my business elsewhere, then proceed to berate Robert and say he's a scammer. the persons Australian accent kinda gave me the inclination that he had just moved to LA and gotten a car and was unfamiliar with how the process works. i asked Robert and he explained that the man didn't get he has to pay not only for the new registration, but also transferring the title and fees. with my classic car, he had to inspect the panels for vin matching and helped my sort out my confusing paperwork from transferring the title as well. i'm not sure how you could accuse him of "finessing" or upcharging you when you can see how much it costs to register your vehicle when you get your paperwork from the DMV and he explains many times what you're being charged for each step of the process and how it's calculated. most people just don't understand that and also he's sadly the most convenient spot in DTLA so he gets all the tweakers and the out of towners- as you can tell by the reviews. he had my new tags ready in 4 days and the fee for his services were very minimal considering the time and effort you save from going to the DMV. i will be coming here everytime and always recommending Robert, he's very kind and i consider him a friend as well- not the mention his location feels very homey read more

I visited this place for my car registration a while ago. I had moved from another state, so wanted to have the process smooth and easy, which was a big mistake. Robert charged me $750 (and not by credit card, but with Zhelle) and said the process is done. He changed the plate. I sent the registration to bank to refinance my car, and they told me something is wrong. I took it to DMV, and they said the whole proceed has been done incorrectly. After I called Robert, he said those are "dumb" people and wanted me to take my car to him again. I contacted Sacramento office (which he sent the documents to) and they also said the process wrong. He had charged us MORE THAN TWICE, and finally we went back to DMV to get another plate number and registration. Working with him was a waste of money and time to me. However, he might be good with other simple routine process, I hope!!!! read more

I've experienced the DMV nightmare, going to the counter after waiting only to find out you have 5 more steps. Robert is the guy you need when you have your papers in order and short on time. Robert has been super helpful for my title change fiasco. He's walked me through the steps, to fix what's broke, and get me going (legally) again. Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you. No more DMV office for you! read more

The bad reviews have to be fake lol. I've been coming to Robert for more than 5 years and he's always been so supportive in assisting me with my vehicle registrations. Always quick and simple. Totally recommend!! read more

Robert is a miracle worker. He knows the system inside and out, and was very helpful and accommodating. Definitely worth the extra few bucks to go to him and skip the hassle of the DMV. Save your time and sanity, and go here! Couldn't recommend this place more. read more

Robert did a great job assisting me with getting my registration taken care of. Thank you again.

Beware this guy Robert is a crook. He tried to charge me a $250 dmv late fee although the plates were paid on time. He couldn't give me a good explanation why I was going to have to paid those fees. I ended going to another place and they charged me $40 to renew my vehicle in comparison to the $250 Robert was trying to charge me. He's a one man operation although sometimes he may have his wife helping. He never provides detailed receipts and highly discourages credit card transactions. I've done several transactions with this guy and yes he'll talk to you all sweet and butter you up like he's your best friend but rest assured he's not looking into your best interest, he's looking into his best interest. During these transactions I also noted that his prices were going up and always have a BS reason why he couldn't provide you with a receipt because his system was down or he was out of ink. I'll be reporting this guy to the DMV and the BBB. read more

Excellent and prompt service from Robert! I appreciate all your help. 5 stars! Robert is very knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Don't go to DMV, check this place out!!! I took my Motorcycle there for an issue that I have with the title. Robert helped me previously over the phone and asked me to bring it in for inspection and it took him almost 15 minutes to check everything and fill all the paper work for me ( not like dmv that you need to wait at least an hour for inspector and fill everything out yourself always). Prices are almost the same as DMV, and He told me they are capable of doing anything that DMV can do at their office. Definitely it will be my to go place if I need any DMV work from now on. Thanks Robert read more

This guy is great. You can get everything you can get done at a regular dmv. He is extremely fast and efficient and an excellent source of information. This has been the best experience I have had registering my vehicle and paying my parking tickets. I even got a handicap placard here as I take care of my father. It was much needed service and very pain free and fast read more

The guy Robert did an amazing job. Very professional and responsive . I have recommended my friends and famil to go thim

The owner was very rude not only to me, but also to my six year old daughter. I will not be returning and would not recommended this horrible business to my worst enemy. The owner also humiliated the person he helped before me by loudly asking if she had enough money in her account to cover the cost of the registration. It was appalling to watch. read more

CAUTION! They charged me $238 in fees on top of my actual DMV fees and were not transparent about this. While being away from California during covid my vehicle registration expired and I was unable to renew online. It was impossible to get an appointment at the DMV. I found this place, called ahead and Robert said I could come right in. He took care of everything and I was in and out with my registration sticker. read more

Never ever never go to the DMV, Go to Robert at FVRS! I was having so many issues dealing with the CA DMV, hours were lost dealing with them but within two days Robert had everything completed! Even when the DMV was closed he wasn't! 18,000 stars!!! Thanks again! read more

Took literally no more than 30 minutes to get my registration situated. What a lovely/ friendly business. Highly recommend.

I was having difficulty getting my registration tags due to multiple situations brought on by covid10 and my moving. The DTLA DMV were the worst as I stood in line after 12 hours on duty as the hospital only to be told " you need an appointment for car registration " and when I said " I need my car to get to work!" The lady responded " that's your problem " I went to FVR and was helped right away and the employee worked after hours just to help me! The next day I had my car registration completed and I am very thankful !!! Skip the DTLA DMV and get treated with respect in a timely manner. read more

This guy is HORRIBLE ( ROBERT IS HIS NAME) He is unwilling to help and he will SCAM YOU! I do NOT recommend this place to anyone nor will I give this man a dime of my money! He told a customer before me that his service fee was 75$ but told me his service fee was 250$ . When I asked for what he said " you need a verification service since moving from Nevada to california " Which I had done already, but since he had to do it he was charging me " his fee " ... verification services are literally them checking your mileage and such as that. Not 250$ worth!! Then he kept asking me for my contract with car max, and tried to send me away because I didn't have it . Once I asked what he needed my contract for, he gave me some bull crap excuse and once I asked for more details on how that is needed for my registry he suddenly did not need it . He is LAZY, and unwilling to do his job!! I seriously don't understand how he is still in business! He even complained cause my 3 year old daughter was sitting on one of his chairs and had her feet on it!! I get if it was a couch or something in that nature, but it was literally a desk top chair & she's a child. Literally the WORST service I've ever experienced, I'd RATHER GO TO THE DMV !! I will be reporting him to BBB and the DMV read more

FRAUD ALERT!!! Especially this guy Homayun(Robert)!! He charged me 500 bucks for only transferring car title! I felt it so weird and then asked for the payment list, he refused at beginning and tried to change the topic, but I asked again and again, then he showed me the screen and not allow me to take a pic or write it down(how wired?!), he said these are the fees that all different departments I wouldn't wanna check one by one are collecting. Likely story, I ended up paying it. After getting out of the store I asked my friend and looked up online how much would transferring a car title charge, then I realized I was totally deceived! I grabbed a friend with me and came back to request withdrawal. Luckily I got the money back. BE CAREFUL everybody! Just go to DMV! There's no easier way to go in the world. read more
