There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is behind the establishment, and it's shared with other businesses. The lot rarely ever gets full though. So don't worry. Each parking spot is pretty wide. You can also do street parking. Take your pick. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is one of my go to post offices in my area. I enjoy coming here because everyone who works here are super reliable, efficient, kind, and helpful.

Wow, what can I say? Not a pleasant experience at all, unfortunately. And this was two days before…read moreChristmas. My cousin needed a box for a white elephant exchange and an Apple gift card. This post office had both items, fortunately. There was only one other person ahead of us and the lady working at the counter was exchanging familiar holiday pleasantries with her, maybe taking just a tad bit too long. But whatever. When it was finally our turn, her tone and attitude did a complete 180. This seemed really odd to me, but then again, this is the post office. And I figured it would be a quick in and out; at least that's what I thought it was going to be. Every answer and sentence from this woman was curt and just super impersonal, like she didn't like the fact that we were there in the first place. No holiday pleasantries for us, I guess. And all we did was walk in. Things got worse after that. Apparently the Apple gift card he wanted to buy wasn't working and accepting money for whatever reason. And so she asked us to grab another one. That one didn't work as well. But she had already charged his card. 15 minutes later, after some computer keyboard magicianry, she ended up having to give only partial cash back from the total gift card amount since they didn't have enough cash on-hand in the register. The rest came in a money order that she had to process as well. So now we're being inconvenienced with having to carry around money orders because - for reasons that were really never made sense - the gift cards wouldn't take any money. Another staffer was there, maybe a manager, who had to put in his code in the computer to authorize these transactions. I told him maybe they should pull all the Apple gift cards from the shelves since they don't apparently work. He completely ignored me. Didn't even look my way. In the end, his colleague could barely muster up an apology for a 15-minute interaction that should've taken a couple minutes. I think I may have heard a whispered or muttered "sorry about that" at the very end. LAME!

You start inside, then get promoted to the outdoor expansion pack because apparently square footage is optional here. By the time you reach the front, you've aged emotionally. Staffing situation: one employee holding down the entire operation like it's a one-woman Broadway show except the performance is titled "Please Wait... Forever." Every window moves at the speed of dial-up internet in 1998. You could mail a letter and receive it back before your turn gets called. Will call? That's not will call. That's won't call. Packages go in, but retrieving them feels like trying to access a hidden level in a game with no instructions. And let's talk about the atmosphere. A fascinating mix of confused customers, restless energy, and a few random characters just lingering like NPCs with unfinished quests. Highlight of the visit: being told nothing, slowly. If you're planning to come here, bring: - Snacks - Water - A folding chair - Possibly a will and testament On the bright side, if you survive the experience, your patience stat will be maxed out for life.

It fits my purpose, to buy stamps since all my stuff (crafts & other things) are packed away for the time being. The kiosk was definitely convenient & easy to use. It's still sticker shock, now that 1st class stamp now costs $0.78 & international is $1.70. Even my friend in Germany says that's really steep. It is what it is, probably the reason most folks do email & other means of correspondence nowadays. It was a good experience, quick & easy peasy.

I have been to dozens of USPS locations and not one location has ever denied shipping my package. I came in to drop off a package with an Arcadia return address and they told me I couldn't drop off at this location and had to drop off at Arcadia post office. I was confused because I have dropped off packages with the same return address in El Monte, San Marino, Pasadena, City of Industry, and even Garden Grove before without any problems. I even went to a different location post office and asked if I can drop off a package from a different city's return address and they looked at me super confused as if that is an issue at all. All in all, do not come here. There are so many other post office locations with better service and nicer attitudes

Buying postage stamps in person…read more.. Did you ever leave a business and think: "I should have bought _____." That's what happened after I left Sierra Madre's Post Office. As I was driving to my next destination, I thought that I should have purchased more stamps. Just then, I saw this post office in Arcadia and made a quick left into the driveway - after the post office - because there was a van coming out of the driveway closest to the post office. Turns out that what I did was correct. The driveway closest to the post office is one-way out only. I read the reviews about the older Asian female worker. She was scolding the customer in front of me. Oh wow. When it was my turn, I wondered if she was going to yell at me for paying in coins. Haha! I took a chance and unloaded what felt like five pounds worth of nickels, dimes, and quarters! It's good to put them back into circulation, right? ... because two international stamps are only $2.90 right now. It's a great time to use coins as payment for this small amount of currency! I thought I counted correctly, but all she said was, "You need ten more cents." That was my cue to give her ten pennies... LOL! Anyway, that's my way of risk-taking. I'll play it safe the rest of the day... Hopefully...
