1/24/26 What can I say? It's the Post Office. Short & sweet, it's clean, appears to be well maintained. Right now it's closed so I cannot review the staff interaction bit. It fits my purpose, to buy stamps since all my stuff (crafts & other things) are packed away for the time being. The kiosk was definitely convenient & easy to use. It's still sticker shock, now that 1st class stamp now costs $0.78 & international is $1.70. Even my friend in Germany says that's really steep. It is what it is, probably the reason most folks do email & other means of correspondence nowadays. It was a good experience, quick & easy peasy. read more

I don't like to write negative reviews like this but I think this is the worst USPS location in the area. I have been to dozens of USPS locations and not one location has ever denied shipping my package. I came in to drop off a package with an Arcadia return address and they told me I couldn't drop off at this location and had to drop off at Arcadia post office. I was confused because I have dropped off packages with the same return address in El Monte, San Marino, Pasadena, City of Industry, and even Garden Grove before without any problems. I even went to a different location post office and asked if I can drop off a package from a different city's return address and they looked at me super confused as if that is an issue at all. This isn't an issue at other San Gabriel Valley or Los Angeles branches, where items are typically updated by the end of the day. The staff here frequently refuses to scan items at the counter, which is the only way to ensure the tracking process actually begins. Frustrating to deal with. There was a change of address mistakenly submitted for me without my knowledge or consent. I have lived in the same house for decades. For the past year, I've been dealing with credit cards not working because of the change in address, dealing with my bank's fraud department, utility bills being mailed to the wrong address, not receiving mail-in ballots because my voter registration changed, and all 3 major credit bureaus reporting an inaccurate current address. When I finally figured out what was going on, I went in to this facility to hopefully get this sorted out. The first supervisor I spoke to, Jenny, had no clue what I was talking about and took down my details and promised to be in contact. Never heard back, so I went in again on a weekday and got a different supervisor. I requested to fill out a change of address form so that I can hopefully reverse all of the changes that have been made. However, this supervisor kept denying that a change of address service would have affected the address on file at any banks because they dont divulge this information .....which is in direct contradiction to the fine print on the back of the change of address form she handed me See my picture. They are just plain clueless about how their own systems work. What a major security headache it is that a change of address could be submitted in my name without my knowledge or consent! Major changes are required for your passport processing clerk. Maria is extremely condescending, I waited behind very old gentleman who required patience and assistance. She scribbled all over his application making him do it all over again. The way she speaks with a tone that is alarming for a customer service representative. She also wrote all over my application I paid for with my money . Then she proceeded to make me rewrite my application about ten 10 using up company resources. She then walked away to the back and stood back there watching me wasting my time through the curtains. Customers inline also voiced their opinion that Maria was simply rude. She tried to reschedule my appointment because she lacks patience and would benefit from training focused on emotional intelligence, respectful communication, and self-awareness. read more

PATRICK was GREAT-- very kind, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with a staff member named SHANEE was very disappointing. She was rude and bossy, speaking to me in a way that felt more like giving orders than offering help. She didn't answer my questions and made the interaction feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. In the middle of assisting me, she walked off for a break without any explanation, leaving me to get back in line and wait for someone else. This USPS has the WORST service I've ever experienced and they might have the DMV beat. Patrick, the old Asian man, refused to ship my packages because they were not within the same city. He said if he scanned my packages, he would be unable to give me a receipt. This guy was standing there doing nothing and when he finally decided to work for a little bit, gave me excuse on why he couldn't help. Wasted my time and I had to load and unload all the packages I was shipping. Sir, this is a mailing service, not a retirement home. No wonder USPS is failing. I would say train your employees but I have a feeling that isn't the issue here. Get rid of these useless people please. read more

First time visiting this post office. Shipping it to actually, returning the hat my friend left when they came to visit from Japan. The cashier was kind enough to direct me to the correct box needed for shipping. Another cashier was kind enough to help me close the box because I was all thumbs that day. Because you helped me figure out the customs paperwork, obviously shipping services are important to make sure that my package was sent properly. I really appreciate the help. Although it's a busy location, they had people with many spoken languages and were kind enough to help everyone. I'm glad I chose that location because the service was better than expected. My mail was returned due to insufficient postage, but when I received it, the contents were missing--it was completely empty. Since I have a locked mailbox, the only time this could have happened was between October 2, when I dropped it off at the post office, and October 11, when I received it back. There was no opportunity for an outsider to access it. When I went to the post office to investigate, the supervisor told me there was nothing they could do and suggested that the contents might have fallen out. I explained that someone had clearly opened the taped envelope and stolen the photocards inside. His response was dismissive, saying that only letters are allowed in the mail and implying that I should have made a 'smarter decision'--essentially blaming me for the theft. This kind of response is unacceptable and amounts to victim-blaming. He also claimed that photocards are not allowed in the mail, even though I've successfully mailed similar items before. To make matters worse, he said there was no way to file a formal complaint. However, I easily found the USPS complaint form online and have already submitted one. read more

I'm not sure who it is but whoever is my mailman and my grandma's mailman in Rosemead is not doing their job. Every single package that gets delivered with USPS is always missing, either it never came or they will give it to your neighbor or leave it on the streets. It clearly doesn't make any sense. Like at least please hide the packages or put it in the mailbox. I hope companies stop shipping packages with USPS because it's so inconsiderate and annoying when your packages don't come and company ends up paying for it. read more

I dropped off some packages today at the post office and this blonde-haired, relatively dark-skinned, Asian lady working at the counter stated that she would not accept more than 3 packages to be scanned at the counter and that I would have to get back in line all over again to scan the remaining packages. I searched far and wide for a USPS Policy that displayed such foolish nonsense online, but I have yet to find any corresponding text to support her delusional claim. The lady rudely began yelling, stating that I was holding up the line. Somehow in her twisted logic, scanning 6 packages WITH PREPAID LABELS seemed to take up more time than helping out another customer who walks in with an item with no box, no label, no payment method ready, and barely understands how to ship an item. To add salt to injury, she looked at the labels on the packages and said that I should not have even come out here to drop off these packages because there was another post office closer to my packages' originating address. My dear, the address at the top left of the label is a RETURN address. For someone who works at the post office, I'm sure you understand how those work. Perhaps you've diverted too many customers away from the counter and you've forgotten what they taught you at basic training. She then threatened to call the police for reasons still unknown to me. I guess carrying more than 3 packages into a USPS to be scanned is a felony. read more

Was here when they just open @ 8:30am. Two worker in front, with 4 customers. If everyone was all ready with their packages and labels should be fast. People didn't fill out label or seal their packages holds up line. Worker tell them go to side and finish then they will call them back in line. Please peoples get your stuff ready then wait in line not in counter then starts writing address in label. Got my certified mail done and out in less than 5 mins. I was 5th in line. read more

The passport lady was condescending, doesn't allow you to speak or ask questions, rushes you even when they were not even busy, cold-hearted, and flat out unhappy working. I checked the merchandise website, my address is complete. what part of the address is not complete ? I tried calling them but no one ever picks up the call at this Rosemead location. Had a good experience here. Wait was not too long and the teller was friendly. It seemed like all of the other tellers were friendly as well. I might have just gotten lucky with the wait because the line seemed to have gotten longer when I left from when I got there, but overall I can't complain. The building is located in a large shopping plaza so parking was easy as well, though I had to circle back once to find a spot. I was only mailing one envelope so I can't speak to the other services that they offer. I will say that there was one lady at another window who was there a really long time, I don't know what was taking so long but she was there the entire time I was in line and she was still there when I left, thankfully a new teller window opened up while I was there otherwise the line would have taken much longer. read more

Usps is a joke, especially this location. Everytime I order something on Amazon, I never get it on the guaranteed delivery date. Usps always lie and said an attempt was made. No attempt was made, no notice on my mail or door, stating otherwise. Everytime I call, they run their mouth and come up with an excuse. Do your job correctly. How incompetent is Usps? I cannot even schedule for a redeliver because Usps already set up a redeliver without my consent. I cannot even modify say redeliver because I never set it up nor do I have the confirmation number. Also your lousy mail person had signed off on one of my amazon deliveries, stating it was delivered. I didn't know Usps committed fraud. Oh wait, the federal government is not corrupted. We came to deliver the package but the manager refused to accept it. The automatic service machine can read the tracking barcode of the label, but their blonde female manager said that her system cannot read the label information, saying that our label is fake. She said that the Label must be created on the official USPS website to be true. Refuse to accept our package. Our packages are sent using Shopify's mail system. The commercial cooperation platform officially designated by USPS can be found on the USPS official website. We told her that the label was created through Shopify, but she still said it was fake and shut us out. There are six packages in total. Why do you say four cannot be accepted? She didn't even use any machine to scan the tags. When she saw our people delivering packages, she said there were four packages she couldn't accept! read more

I have also reached out to USPS and they cannot do anything as in reimburse me or contact location until the post office "receives " the package. I went around today, Friday around 12:30PM. And the man behind the counter gave me such a hard time trying to open a PO Box. My address on my ID is of my parents house and I moved out during covid and he was making a big fuss that I don't live there anymore and that they'll send a letter there to verify my address. I consistently told him I can just get the letter from my parents house and verify it. And then I had my car registration, but the name was under my moms name. And he also made a fuss about that. These documents were suppose to prove that Im legal to live here no? But he was giving me such a hard time saying how I won't be able to open a PO Box unless my ID address matches where I live currently and blah blah blah. I got so upset and left. I honestly don't know why it was so difficult.... I had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I'll open a PO Box elsewhere. read more

I went to the post office this week, and the staff (Kevin, Jeannie and Vincent) were awesome staff and super friendly with such positive attitude despite the heavy rainy weather. They keep the line flowing and it appears customer know the staff here. This is one of the friendliest staff in the area as mine isn't that friendly in my area. COVID Time: Since I discovered that I can drop off packages thru the back, I was able to do whatever it is needed correctly. For my small Etsy business I send all my packages via USPS, because I am the one who prints the shipping label, I know exactly what type of mail/package it is. So once I am in the back, I sort my orders accordingly and I feel like my orders have been going out accordingly, they are all scanned, tracking status is updated, my customers know exactly where their package is going and it gets delivered. PRE-COVID: I got my expired passport renewed here, and the lady who assisted me, she was super friendly and nice, since I changed my name, she explained to me what I need to provide. I had some missing documents so I returned the next day, she remembered me and helped me right away. Within 1.5 weeks, I got my new passport. Parking: shared with a lot, and kind of limited, BUT if you are dropping off packages in the back, you can park where the mailman/woman parks as long as you are quick. read more

Wow !! Maria from this post office that worked on 02/11/2022 is the best from what I can see . I took my 4 months old son here yesterday for his Passport application , we had an appointment at 11:15 AM and was told by this post office that I need arrive at 11:00 AM which I did . And after our arrival , was ask for waiting in their east lobby , guess what .. wait until 12:00 PM and was helped by Maria before we step out , and she did a terrific Job to help us out within 10 Mins. Great reputation needs to be built to public and Maria is the One that did. And she is so amazing ! She is helping everyone there as soon as she gets a second . Of course we hate standing there for over a hour with my 4 months baby even we had an appointment there and another employee explained to me when Maria was trying to understand why we were there for such longer time, and the another lady said " Well , we had more applications and all of those applications have different situation " Oh, okie . No one cares your excuse , Maria helped us finished the Application in 10 Mins, that lady had worked on that passport application over an hour and hadn't finished it yet , finishing your work first before you talk again please . No one had time to blame on you .. No wondered people keep complaining employees here are rude . Hey , but we get understand everyone has the bad mood or bad day . I came here for my us passport renewal and I finally met a professional staff When I turned back for the third time in the same day!!I am very grateful to that asian male employee (I forgot to ask his name, he is Asian, middle aged) He was very professional and quickly helped me Solve the problem !finally someone did help me at the end!!!!!!!! the other younger men staff there he made me very uncomfortable! I was in line for ten minutes and he looked tired and didn't want to help me out! When I asked him some passport service questions and he just told me that he couldn't help!he told me to just put everything inside then he only can ship it for me!!this is super UN professional!!this is not my first time to renew my passport but this is the first the post office staff treat me like that way!!!Then when I tried to fill in the address he actually told me, he can't wait for me to finish my address!!I need to go somewhere to write down my address then comeback to them!!! Today Sept 29 @1pm. I stand in line almost half hour for pickup a package. The man ask me to let my daughter face time to proof the package is matching her face with ID. Suddenly her twin baby cry. And the man say forget it. Sorry can't give the package. We have all proof but he still give me a hard time . We are hunan and get so stress during covid. I come here quite often for my business, the employees there are very helpful and respectful. I haven't personally experienced anyone being rude or not willing to help, Theres always a guy there that asks if anything is picking or dropping off mail to make the line process a bit faster, and honestly sometimes it helps because you don't wanna be stuck in line for more than 30 mins. If you're just dropping off mails or getting something shipped I would recommend this post office because they help you if you don't know what to do. The only down side and the reason why Im only giving it 4 star is their parking lot!!!!!!! Their Parking is horrible here. Luckily there is a supermarket's parking lot in the same plaza or street parking otherwise it's take you longer to find parking than mailing your mails! read more

How smart do you have to be to get a job as a USPS worker? Obviously not very, judging from the amazing lineup they have here. USPS really needs to start teaching their employees, including their supervisors, what their actual policies are (instead of letting them come up with something random off the top of their heads). Every time I'm here, I hear something new. I run my own business. I pick up possibly a hundred packages a year. I was told by the previous supervisor that you don't have to wait in line for a pickup. I've seen people not line up and get their packages in a separate line for pickup. Today, I went and the NEW supervisor (great guy /s), tells me it's common sense to wait in line. He told me to get in the back, even though I was there waiting since long before that line had even formed. Now, I wasn't there to get ahead of anyone. I don't see myself as particularly entitled, so I said fine. Let them all go ahead of me. I refused to budge, however, because I was told this is where I should wait for pickups. He continued to tell me to leave and to wait in line, or I wouldn't get my package. I suggested he should put up a sign if the policy has changed, or just to make it clear in general for people who, like me, were told something different in the past. He refused and said "I'm not going to put up signs". Wonderful problem solving on his part. In general, if you can avoid conducting your business here, please do. It's too bad that not all mailing services are privately owned, or I would've threatened to take my business elsewhere. read more
