I have used Vien Dong probably a dozen times over the past two years, and I have been very pleased with their service each time. I have had packages sent back and fourth from Vietnam. Each time, these were delivered without damage. True, once in awhile my packages get delayed and I can get a bit furious on the phone knowing that it's custom to blame but nevertheless, the staff there always manage to stay calm and courteous, trying to understand my frustration and kept me up to date. When I travelled to VN, my husband sent some stuffs for me from LA. He saw this company when he was driving around the area, so he stopped by to ask for price and decided to ship with them. I couldn't recall the price, but I know it's not as cheap as those in OC. He shipped some fresh fruit with the hope that it would get to me in 7 days. Guess what? The package arrived Saigon after 12 days. I did look for phone numbers on Vietnamese website and call their office in SG after I tracked that the package had already arrived SG. They checked and said yes, they'd ship it to my place soon. I asked to have it ship with one of the bus companies (like Greyhound) in order to receive the package on the same day. But they refused, saying they only worked with VN Post (vietnam's postal company) for the shipments to areas outside SG. Or I could have someone who lived in SG to come and pick up the package and ship wherever I wanted on my own cost. And since I couldn't get anyone in SG to help me pick up package on that day, they shipped it to me via VN Post. My place is 130 miles away from Saigon, but it took them extra 2 days to ship. When I opened the package, all I had left was fluid and seeds from the fruit. Lol. Yelp! It was so funny that I need to laugh at myself. Anyways, in my opinion, or in good business practice, cargo companies always need to tell customers the best things to ship within certain time frame. Not just take the fresh produce, wrap them up for customers, then ship them without caring if it will arrive on time and everything is still intact or usable. The only thing I need to give them for credit was the follow-up phone call for feedback. Someone in SG actually called me to check if I was satisfied with the service. Of course I mentioned about the shipping time and fresh fruit situation, they said they'd look into it to improve the service in the future. So, I hope they are not going to send perishable stuffs for customers without warning anymore, and the best predicted shipping time is 2 weeks. read more

This place is very terrible. Sent package 1/24 and never get to my family. I know this company was involved in some illegal transport. They shipped their package with 850 brand new IPhone without permission. They got caught by Vietnamese police. That is why our package still get hold at the airport. Bottom line I am not recommend this place for anyone.
