The lady who assisted me was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. She explained why the charge is such and what better way to save.

Plus, they didnt have the size box I needed and it would have cost me about $70 to send it. Luckily I did have the box at home. I then came to this location and mentioned that I couldn't fit the rest in the box, so I needed a box to put the remaining items with it to get shipped back. I was willing to pay for the convenience and she recommended a bag instead of a box. It was cheaper. I really do like the service I get when I come to any of these UPS stores. Thank you.

If you ever have to come to this store, which I would say should NOT be your first choice, the best…read moreyou can do is have anyone else help you EXCEPT the Asian lady with glasses. I hesitate to return here every time but unfortunately it is the closest location to me. I will start rethinking coming back here since I've been helped by this lady more than 3 times and distinctly remember unpleasant experiences every single time. Today I thought about asking a different employee for help as soon as I got there but thought I'd give her a chance once more. I did not mind staying in line to be helped by another employee because it already looked like she was bothered when she had to come to the register and help people in line. I tried and gave her grace when she called me next up in line and was met with instant regret. Once again, her demeanor was unwelcoming and hostile. She does not seem like she wants to provide any sort of customer service and makes you feel like you are inconveniencing her for showing up to the store. I've read other reviews about her as well and had the same experience when it came to being told to go to the kiosk and figure out my shipment on my own. There should be nothing wrong with customers wanting a live person's support over a computer, that's why I visit storefronts in the first place. I've hesitated to write reviews in the past but also noticed months-old reviews about the same person and the same experience and want to validate that this is still happening to this day. I'm not surprised at the low ratings this location receives, as evidenced by follow-up reviews that report USP's lack of effort and my continued negative experience here. It is important for customers to know about this ongoing problem at this store so they can make an informed decision about using and paying for their services. While all interactions with other employees have been pleasant and should not be discredited, the consistently negative experiences with the lady has ultimately overshadowed my views on this location.

Box & Ship

Box & Ship

I am an exhibiting professional artist, and my recent experience with Box & Ship in Pasadena was…read moreabsolutely unacceptable. I contracted Box & Ship to handle the packing and return shipment of my original oil painting and custom frame from the 2025 California Art Club Gold Medal Exhibition. Their responsibility was simple: pack my artwork properly, with all of my original packing material, that I clearly had instructions to save, so it would arrive safely. Instead, their negligence, of not saving my original packing material and their poor repackaging, caused damage to my frame, and their customer service afterward towards me was dismissive and unprofessional. Here are the facts: Improperly sealed box: When I received my painting via FedEx on September 10, 2025, one end of the box was barely taped shut and nearly open. Only two pieces of tape barely holding one end of the box closed. My original packing material was mostly missing inside: There was very little packing material holding the painting and frame in the box. The artwork could shift around freely during shipping. Missing original packing: When I shipped my painting to the exhibition in July, I personally packed it with bubble wrap and peanuts so it was tight and secure....it could not move at all. It arrived to the California Art Club Gold Medal Exhibition undamaged and safe. However, after waiting 3-4 weeks to have my painting shipped back to me and Box & Ship finally got around to send it back, most of my original packing material was missing, leaving the piece vulnerable. Resulting damage: Because of their careless packing, the inner wood liner of my custom, hand-finished frame sustained a full break. I hand-finished this frame myself to match the painting, and repairing it will cost $200 in labor and materials. I have extensive photographic documentation showing the poor packing job and the resulting damage. When I contacted Box & Ship to request reimbursement, their response was dismissive. Instead of taking accountability, they told me: "The California Art Club insures the Gold Medal. Not Box & Ship. Please contact Eire and take it up with them." This reply is unacceptable. Not only does it deflect accountability for their poor packing practices, but it also demonstrates a complete disregard for the artists whose work they are entrusted to protect. Whether or not the California Art Club maintains insurance on artworks exhibited, the fact remains that Box & Ship themselves caused the damage through careless handling. As an artist, this experience has been infuriating. I will never trust Eric and Box & Ship again, nor use their poor shipping services. Their negligence not only damaged my frame, but their dismissive attitude shows they do not value their customers or the responsibility of safeguarding important artworks. I strongly urge the California Art Club to reconsider its relationship with Box & Ship. By continuing to use this company, they risk not only their reputation, but damaging more artists' works and undermining their commitment to protecting the contributions of their artist members, which make all their exhibitions possible. For fellow artists: think twice before entrusting your artwork to Box & Ship in Pasadena, California. Based on my bad experience, they are very slow to ship artwork, apparently have too much work for them to handle in a respectable time frame, careless in their packing and refuse to take responsibility when their negligence causes damage.

I had the worst experience at this location and I will never return…read more I went here 2 days ago with my fiance to drop off my Vinted go order and the lady working was beyond rude. (Unfortunately didn't get a name but she was a Hispanic mid aged lady) First, she had a problem scanning my item; told me maybe they didn't pay, I should reprint labels because I probably didn't print them right etc. (weird cause I never had any issues before when I came here and got helped by someone else but I went with it cause what do I know) she re printed my labels rudely, was lazy and handed me to put them on the packages "properly" since she said I did it wrong. She then Scanned, said it wasn't working again and she had no idea to help me. So then I googled what to do while she walked in the back room to attend to her kids who were playing and doing homework while she worked upfront. I was so confused and frustrated that Online said to try another location so, I left. Went to another location 10min away- they were closed. Checked my email and all my packages said they were scanned into the system and ready to ship YET I had my packages with me. I immediately called the lady back to tell her she scanned them in and she said "oh yeah someone else had a problem after u so just come bring them back they should be fine",, "it's a system problem and I shut down the systems to reset it." I came back less than 10 min after I called at 5:43pm and they close at 6pm. The door was locked!!! All lights off!! I called 5 times and she forwarded my call each time. I stood outside banging on the door for over 6mins . We could hear and see her kids running around in the back in the dark. She finally arrived at the door after banging on the glass door and calling over and over and said "oh sorry the door automatically closes after a certain time" took my packages, smiled, and walked away back inside; yet the open sign was off, all lights off, door locked etc more than 15min early til closing time after she knew I was coming back to drop off packages. She doesn't seem like she likes what she does. Working in customer service is not for her. She made my experience horrible. horrible customer service and wasted my time. I will not return to this location. I will instead go down the street to San Marino. I could of got in trouble with Vinted and could of been out of money if my packages didn't get delivered properly, this wasn't cool and she had no idea to help. Training staff to help customers efficiently is very important and also to be welcoming and kind!!
