The staff at this location provides the absolute best service. There are three other UPS Stores closer to me, but I'm happy to drive a couple extra miles to go to this because of friendly and splendidly helpful employees. Today Ally & Nate solved a number of complex issue I had with a SHEIN return. An issue that, had I been most other stores, would not have been solved. And had I had to solve it on my own, I would have taken me hours to solve. The twitchy SHEIN app glitched up on my return of several of items. Thankfully, Alley kindly navigated me through the app's maze of steps and fixed everything so my return was proper processed. Additionally, she and Nate gave me some great pointers on handling SHEIN and other fashion apps that my teenage daughter has recently taken such a liking to. Thanks big time, Alley and Nate! I would select 0 if there's such an option. I went there for Passport photo and just happened it's the closest one. The person A that helped me doesn't know anything and had to ask the other worker B who went to the back of the store and did not want to help me. So, A took the photo and B came back and said not right and has to re take. After taking the photos second time, A did not know how to print it out and end up printing a wrong size, I can't believe he just left it there and went to help another customer. B came back didn't bother and kept helping other customers in line. So both workers let me stood there and until I finally walked up to B and insisted him to finish my photos. Finally he did and ask A to ring it up but A charged me 2 times of $18.99 his reason being there's 2 photos which supposedly it comes in 2. I would totally advise everyone NOT to go there for the terrible Experience I had. read more

I've been to a lot of UPS stores and encounter many workers. I came across an Asian male with no hair. No hi, how are you doing. I had him scan my code and he said that it doesn't look like it's one of ours maybe it's Whole Foods. I guess I was taken back by it since I thought I chose the ups option. I asked are you sure? And he made a rude comment back... I remembered what I saw. Was I a friend or customer? Very rude. Then after me he was greeting the next customer. UPS, please train your staff better. Horrible service. As frequent customers since it is the closest UPS store, we never receive a greeting or actual help. They obviously do not want to work there and don't mind making it difficult for their customers. The only thing they have going for them is their location. Other than that, expect them to nickel and dime everything they possibly can. read more

This is my go to UPS Store in San Gabriel. Ample parking in the front of the store off Huntington and parking in the back. Best part is that they are also open on Sundays (as not all UPS Stores are). It's next to a Starbucks so get your Amazon returns and a beverage on the same trip! read more

Hands-down, I consider this UPS store the most helpful, efficient and lifesaving establishment in the San Marino community. The employees are kind, patient, competent, and very friendly. I'm able to do my Amazon returns, drop off my USPS packages and even have my house keys made here. They also can print out documents, do notaries and even take and print your passport pictures too.... See, I wasn't kidding when I said that this place is a lifesaver! The hardest working people I know are Greg, Nick, Dennis and Cindy. They always greet me with a smile, and always have me leaving a little happier than before I entered it. Normally I don't give businesses a review other than restaurants. For UPS you wouldn't really expect someone to leave a review unless it's a complaint (coincidentally me) but this store is an exception. I came here to get a notarization that would forever change my life and the stamp was misplaced, sadly. There was a woman behind me and two teenagers (assuming they were her daughters) so he told them he will likely be able to help the next day. Just as she was walking down the street he then found the stamp, ran out of the store to chase her down, and told her he could help her and apologized. On top of all of that all of this was an hour before closing. He asked me if I was alright, considering that it was to notarize the last of my expungement of a bad past, and when I told him where I was now in life he then wished me the best of luck for my future and congratulated me. This guy nearly had me in tears considering that he not only didn't judge me but that he was so caring of others. The value in this kind of customer service is priceless. Occasionally you come across people who care about the customer, but not often do you come across people who genuinely care. The ratings are well deserved on this location and I would return for the customer service alone. At another location it was $25 for a notarization, however, here it was $15 which surprised me. I am not sure if it was for the inconvenience or if it was just cheaper but nothing was mentioned so I assume it is just cheaper here than the Alhambra location. read more

The customer service here is horrible - one of the clerks helping me was just so miserable and completely rude to me. I had to drop off a pre-paid return and he refused by box after already having scanned my return code and insisted that I re-pack my box. It was a box. He insisted that I needed a box for my box. Why would you proceed to scan my return code and then decide not to ship it? He said he dis not process it and gave no explanations. As a frequent customer, I'd say this location has consistent service no matter who is at the front. They enforce COVID-19 rules & always fast with their service (in & out) especially with the holidays coming soon. Even as they were going through renovations, always friendly & consistent service. Honestly no complaints with this location. This is always my go-to location to drop off any packages. One star for misleading marketing and poor customer service. I shipped a package of perishable items the morning of 12/23 under the "next day air saver" program. The assumption was that the $70 shipping fee would expedite delivery of this 2.2 lbs package 400 miles. Branch representative Ruben cautioned me that it "might not arrive until 12/26," which would still have been better than the estimated standard ground delivery date of 12/29. In reality, the package took 10 hours for the label to be printed and three business days (5 calendar days) to be shipped, arriving finally on 12/29. I contacted customer service to request a refund as I paid the overnight delivery rate whereas the package was delivered under the standard ground time frame. The customer service representative said he would look into but then claimed the package was dropped off 12/28 and could not explain what happened between 12/23 and 12/28. He said it might have to do with covid shipping regulations and advised me to contact the branch where I dropped off the package. I contacted the branch and was told by Ruben that "we make no guarantees" as to delivery time frame and that he would check with his manager the following week regarding a refund. After calling back the following week Ruben again reiterated that because of covid there are no guarantees and that air shipping packages do sometimes arrive later than packages shipped by ground. While I understand that the covid pandemic has profoundly impacted shipping among other aspects of business, I do not feel that advertising "next day air saver" without a clear disclaimer about possible delays as long as five business days or Ruben's claim "it might arrive by 12/26" constitute honest business practices. And furthermore, I would expect the staff of a company dependent on the patronage of consumers like you and me to place more emphasis on reconciliation and sympathy rather than absolving themselves of fault ("contact the branch", "we make no guarantees", "you'll need to wait for the manager to get back next week"). read more

UPS store located next to a Starbucks? What a great match up! I come here to drop off Amazon packages, make copies, and print documents and then walk over to get a coffee next door. All so convenient. The folks in this UPS store are efficient and friendly. For Amazon packages, I usually print the return labels and pack at home, so it's nothing more than a quick drop off at the store, which is ideal for Covid times. Pretty decent UPS store, I don't know how many different things there could be about a UPS store, but I'm giving this place 3 stores just because although they are adequate, parking and service seem a little lacking. There's a small parking lot in the back for this UPS store, but because it shares it with a starbucks and a few other businesses, you'll find yourself unable to find a spot most of the time :(. There are also some spots along Huntington Drive near the UPS store, but you'll often run into the same problem, and make sure you're careful! Huntington can get busy! Other than that, I've almost always had to wait for a few people to get taken care of when I come here to send things out. They are great at their job, it just seems like it's such a small store and so few people are working here. So if you need to send something out, feel free to come here, but be prepared to wait a little bit! read more

The staff is always very friendly and efficient. They are sometimes very busy, but they always acknowledge me when I walk in and take care of business ASAP. If you have read some of my reviews I hate when a place closes early (outside of their posted business hours) or does not offer service up to closing time. Though I am a little more lenient of the latter. After closing my newly opened account that morning at the UPS store on Las Tunas (review coming soon) I walked into the San Marino UPS store at 6:50 pm or 10 minutes before closing. I asked the two folks at the counter if I was too late to open a new account for a PO Box. Just a brief hesitation and then they both replied that they would do it, and I responded: "that was the right answer!" Brenda took control and Danny was most pleasant. Brenda took my information and prefilled the forms with it so I had minimal to do. She made key copies, we signed the paperwork and within 20-25 minutes I had my new mailbox. NOTHING like my visit to the Las Tunas store #4833. Both Brenda and Danny provided excellent customer service and made me feel at home. And even though they continued working after hours to provide me a new mailbox they never lost their awesome customer service skills. I never felt rushed or unwelcome. The world could do with more folks like Brenda and Danny and I plan to be a customer at the San Marino UPS Store for years to come with that type of service. Great Job!!! read more
