I've had a medium mailbox here since 2018, shortly after moving to Little Tokyo, as my building is not completely secure for packages. I blame them in part for all the stuff I've bought in the years since because they are so reliable in receiving my mail and my many, many packages. The two times I didn't immediately find a package here was due to the fact that Ontrac drivers seem to prefer to give packages to neighboring businesses rather than to deliver the package on another day. What I especially appreciate is the fact that I always receive a picture of my package by text and an email letting me know that my package has arrived. That's the sort of professional courtesy that shows how dependable they are, and I love being able to support such a great small business! The pricing is reasonable and the ladies have been so kind and helpful over the years. And, while I've never used their passport picture or notary services yet, it's great to know that these services are local to me and others in the neighborhood when necessary. read more

Came not only once, but twice after 10:00am and the doors locked, doesn't look like it's open. Yet business hours posted stated 9:30am. Is there a secret society that knows their secret hours and also giving good reviews? Because to me, if your not open at the time you state you are, and numerous times being inconsistent, I'm not going to waste time on breaks that I can be more productive on (walking, getting prescriptions at CVS, etc). Don't waste your time going early when they open, maybe before they close they might leave door open. read more

I came to ACE after work to take care of a legal doc that I need to have notarized asap, not used to filling out and traversing to legal brouhaha's of legal paper works, I am glad that Carrie caught some items that I shouldn't have filled in and corrected some errors on the doc.I appreciated that a lot! Parking is either curbside-meter or there is a $7.00 lot on the right side on Aliso, if it's a quick transaction like mine, I'd be patient and keep looking for a free meter but if you plan to wander around Little Tokyo after then the flat-rate parking is a better option. I needed to get some passport photos. Every time I had to take passport photos in the past, I took them at places like CVS/Walgreens/Costco, even though they turned out horrible. I didn't know you can take passport photos anywhere else. The closest CVS and Walgreens weren't doing photos because of the weirdest reasons - the CVS computer was frozen, and Walgreens had misplaced their camera. What! Then I searched Yelp for 'passport photos' and found ACE. 6 photos for $10 - very reasonable prices. Carrie took a couple different pictures and gave me the option to choose. After printing the photos, she use a ruler to make sure the picture satisfied the dimension specifications. I later came back to ACE for notary services and several printouts. I've had this as my mailing address for more years than I can remember. Every service they offer is great. They are more like an extended idealized family where their caring is shown by their attentive actions carrying out the services you request. I've seen there were a couple of negative reviews based on their hours. Because of the pandemic, I don't rely on a business' stated hours on yelp. I call as to their hours because lately they've been fluid. Apparently, because it is based on directives by the city or state per Covid safety precautions (which changed their hours) and the exigencies of running such a personalized caring business. I'm ok with calling to see how early or how late their hours are currently. It is a small bother to have such caring service regarding many tasks it is a relief to just come here and have they take care of it. Plus I pick up my mail there when I get an email that something arrived. I moved about a half hour away but I still use their mailing Private Mail Box address service because if its a problem for me to make there before they close, they've been kind enough to tell me what type of mail I received that day (junk mail, DWP, DMV, Bank etc) so I know if I can just hold off until I have something else to attend to in Downtown LA/Little Tokyo/Arts District. Honestly, I simply can't understand or even recommend going to another place for passport business. The lovely women that work there take fantastic photos, give you options, charge you WAY less than EVERY OTHER PLACE WITHIN 10 MILES, and they are absolutely sweet and pleasant in dealing with you. Another important thing is that they are very knowledgeable about the paperwork and requirements you need to get your passport "as an American, they knew what I needed to bring with me", and very helpful and can make copies of whatever you may need "which means don't take your business to some random copy place when you can also take care of that right here, all within 10 minutes! I'm telling you, if you are in need of a RUSH PASSPORT and want to get everything done, and done properly, there is no other place to go. ACE One Stop gets a 5/5 stars from me. I needed to get some forms notarized so that I could request an official copy of my sibling's birth certificate from the county and I searched on Yelp for one near me. I saw ACE One Stop Mail Plus and decided to go there because they had a website and looked professional. Honestly I didn't know what to expect because this was the first time I ever got something notarized. When I arrived, I told the lady on the dhl desk that I needed to get a document notarized, she said the notary stepped out and would return soon. She asked if I could wait outside and I did. Funny enough the notary arrived as soon as I stepped outside to wait. It is a relatively small space and due to the pandemic, I felt lucky that I was the only customer at that time. The desks have large sneeze guards to protect the workers and customers. I was very impressed with the service I received, especially during these times. The notary was very quick and efficient, I had to show her my id and to verify my identity I had to pull down my mask -which felt so weird to do but it was fine. (I held my breath so I wouldn't expose them to my germs lol.) After that I had to sign and get my thumbprint, they have tissues and hand sanitizer available to remove the ink/clean your hands after signing. Overall, I thought they were very quick, efficient, trustworthy, and extremely helpful. I even got a quote for using DHL to send documents abroad and even came back a second time to do that. The service is remarkable. Ace One Stop Mail Plus notifies its customers by email as to mail received for no additional charge. She'll send me an email that contains info on the sender and if it's a check, she'll indicate that it's a check. It also sells packing boxes, toners and ink. I can send packages through FedEx, UPS or USPS. I can purchase stamps and everything else I need for mailing. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is across the street (city parking west side of Judge John Aiso and north side of 1st Street.), which is $1 per 1 hour. read more
