I have a mailbox here and I've had it for a very long time. I've had no problems except when the driver can't find the address. That's because the driver was new, but the next day they delivered the box. read more

LOVE this place. Have a PO Box here and have had it for several years. Very nice family owned. Very courteous and respectful owners.

I've rented a Uhual through this location twice. One was a regular move, the other was just a few months later when I had to move again. They're conveniently located on near Wilcox and Hollywood, within walking distance from my old place. The guy is friendly and made the entire process super easy. Prices are also very reasonable. Great customer service here. They also offer mail box rental, shipping supplies, and notary services. read more

The best mailbox service in Hollywood! Friendly, kind and always ready to assist you with your needs

These guys are great. Had some fedex packages I needed to get sent over to New Zealand and I was kind of clueless on how to get it done (never had to ship anything overseas before.) The man behind the counter patiently walked me through the whole process and made it super easy. Also renewed my passport photo here. Pretty straightforward and took only a few minutes. Will definitely come back here for any shipping needs I have in the future. read more

In terms of service, very nice and very fast. I was running late for a passport appointment (for across US post office across the street) and was told they take passport photos at this location - perfect! 2 second walk and was there. Walked in and the gentleman was really nice and really fast, which we all know is so valuable for any post office trip. 5 mins max in and out with photos taken, copies and receipt in hand. Thanks guys! Will recommend you to friends in the area. read more

Boom, boom, boom!!! Knocking down one checklist item after another! It's been a great morning, and this place was definitely part of making it such an easy, and smooth-flowing day, thus far. This place has been around for about 7 years, and though the neighborhood is changing around them, they've provided a great service, at a solid price. Did I mention the service? Absolutely professional in their approach! read more

Have come into this store for various reasons- passport, mail, and this time, notary. They stayed a little late for us as it was imperative that we get our documents notarized that day. Then when one of the docs had to be redone because of mistake on my end, he renotarized at no charge. Just overall lovely people and great service. read more

Rented a U-Haul van online. I arrived and the van was ready out front. Paperwork was fast and simple. Returned the van and was on my way home after just a couple minutes. The gentleman that was working there was a big help. I will definitely be utilizing their U-Haul service for all future needs. read more

I had their service for 7+ years. Only reason I stopped using them is because I moved far away! Their family was always so friendly and helpful- experiences not often seen in big cities like LA read more

Professional, reliable, and responsive. I have rented a mailbox from Hollywood Mail Store for many years and it has brought me great peace of mind. I know that my mail and packages are always safe and anything they package and ship for me will get to its destination on time. I have also had keys duplicated here with 100% success (i.e, they always work!) and had my passport photo taken here and it turned out great. This family-owned and family-run business is a gem in Hollywood. read more

I don't know the man's name who runs this place but he is the absolute best. I only come here for all my mail. It's all reasonably priced and he can even set you up with USPS so you don't have to wait in the hellish line across the street. Love this place! read more

We've been with this family owned and operated mail store for over a decade. We couldn't be happier with their services. We've never missed a delivery, have renewed our passports, and used the notary services as well. 5 Stars!! -Andy read more

A neighborhood vibe in a big city. The family that operates this place is lovely. The polar opposite of the post office across the street!

Good for passport photos. The guy at the cashier can be a little slow while attending other people. Also, sometimes there're a lot of UPS people entering and dropping boxes and that can be a little distracting to the person helping you (specially if you're being taken passport photos). read more

This has been one of THE best experiences concerning customer service. Alex Aroutiounian, owner of the store, was beyond helpful, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my package shipped. I walked by his store on a Friday evening desperate to get my package shipped to the east coast. His store was closed but he was inside doing paperwork. He noticed me standing outside and waved at me to come in. He took care of me and got me out in no time. This was 35 minutes after closing time! Please do yourself a favor and give Alex your business. Alex, thank you for saving my butt! read more

They get very busy which is a good sign. They try to get to you as soon as they can. Very friendly and courteous. Their services make for a well rounded basic business and personal solutions. I would highly recommend them. read more

Cant believe I didnt update this already..... It was Oscar week and I rented (yes, rented hater) my dress for my charity event I was throwing. Well super short story, I didn't make it to the mail box in time and on Sunday they are CLOSED!!!! I found their email and sent an urgent email, thinking, what mailbox business is going to check their mailbox SUNDAY MORNING?!?!??! Well, I received a call within 30 minutes and Gary was on his way in to open the place just for me... and he did... with a smile. THAT IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! Kinda felt like I was living in the Wonder Years for a moment, where others went out of their way for each other... and yes, it is in Hollywood! lol. Thanks Gary. I still owe you cookies. read more

I rarely need a notary but they were available when I called although I asked about next day and reliably they were ready and quick. And easy parking so a chore turned into a breeze, highly recommend and I will be back when the need arises! read more

I've been using this service well over 10 years. The owner Alex is a good man. They will do stuff over and beyond the normal call for a mail service company. It's also a great location being right across the street from the post office. They have notary services, mail services, U-Hal trucks and equipment, ATM, answering service, UPS and Fedex service and more. Plus, it's always easy to park... just use the USPS free lot... read more

I usually try to send most of my packages across the street at USPS. However, this time, I needed to get a box & pack a DJ mixer. Also, the line at USPS was crazy as usual. I knew that I wasn't going to get an awesome $5.60 set price like I usually do nor was I going to be able to just use the machine w| no wait like normal. Therefore, I decided to go across the street to at least save me time. The service was amazing. I grabbed a box & my mixer fit, but not well. The guy helping me searched for a good box & after a couple tries found a perfect sized box! He proceeded to wrap everything for me, bubble wrap, tape, & that annoying stuffing stuff. Haha! He made my life so much easier. We sent it UPS which was only about $15 (USPS couldn't have been much less, if at all!) & he charged $5 for all the packing. It was so worth it. If I stayed at USPS, I would have had to buy a box, bubblewrap, tape, & stuffing. Hands down, I will frequent this spot when I have things to ship. read more

There are very friendly but also practice price gouging. $15 for two passport photos and they added over four dollars to a USPS priority mail envelope that I sent. read more

Amazing family owned store. It's in front of the USPS, so anything you need, like boxes or supplies, they have and set you up so that you can just walk across the street and drop off your packages. I came in because I needed to find a boxed and I looked everywhere and couldn't find a box at all! So the gentlemen there told me to wait a quick second and that he was going to check the back,so I waited... and he came out and told me that he would just customize a box for the thing I was trying to ship. That man is a genius and deserves praise. He also securely packaged my item with wrap and made sure to secure it completely. After he was done he gave me a really cheap price for the work he did. They are amazing and I highly recommend everyone to check out that store. I'm really happy with the guest service they provided and will definitely be coming back here whenever I need help with anything that has to do with shipping! Thank you amazing workers! Y'all killed it today and made me feel special and taken care of! read more
