Just a friendly neighborhood mailbox, lottery, notary, and delivery service. There were plenty of parking and easy to find. I came here to have documents notarized. The service was quick and easy. The owner charged $15 per signature which is a reasonable price. Since I was in a good mood, I even purchased a lottery ticket. Unfortunately, I didn't win the big one, but I did win $2 (which I eventually recycled back in the jackpot). read more

I came in to take three passport photos, one for myself and one for each of my two small children. The nice man behind the counter took two of our photos, and then immediately stopped to help two wealthy-looking 70 year-olds notarize a bunch a documents who had just walked in. He made us wait quite a while until he was done with them before taking the last photo for us. So just know that if someone who looks wealthier than you comes in while he is in the middle of helping you, he will drop whatever he is doing with you to help them instead, no matter how long their project takes. read more

Update June, 2019: I did use the notary services on site. Services were great at a great value, exactly as I anticipated they would be. The price was reasonable and competitive with other notaries in the area. Actually at a better price point even. I had no issues or concerns and the process was simple and affordable. It all worked out well. I was able to get my notarized paperwork quickly to where it needed to go to, via fax at a reasonable fee, and included a confirmation notice given, that it was sent and successful. ----//----//----// Checked in with yelp and got the 3 months free with purchase of 1 year. I like that I have an address vs PO Box, so that my deliveries aren't as restrictive. deli Although, I keep forgetting to instruct no Sunday deliveries. I like that they are open 6 days a week. With hours that extend reasonably after hours of you need to retrieve packages. Also that you can come in at any time to check your mailbox with 24/7 access. It makes things much more convenient. The staff is always friendly. *** And next time I go in, I'm going to ask about their notary services for getting my daughters birth certificate from another city.. I'll update with my experience about their notary after utilizing that service in the next few months. I have no doubt they will be providing the same level of service already shown. Screw the post office, this location is next to El Pollo Loco and the Korean family that owns it are very nice and fast. You can also do your passport photo here too. Pros: -24 hr access to box. -Friendly owner is on-site 6 days a week. M-F 8:30am-6:30pm, Sat 9:30am-5pm. I can pick up packages or large mail that won't fit in my box after work. Other mailbox places I looked into in both La Canada, La Crescenta, and Pasadena close at 4pm or 5pm and are not open weekdays. This guy is there when you need him. -Digital Passport photos, Faxes, Notary, Keys made, drop off mail, photocopies, etc. -He sells LOTTO tickets -Easy, easy parking and plenty of it. Can pull up to the front door without having to dodge cars or climb stairs. -Near the freeway - easy on/ easy off -Near grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, dry cleaners, etc. I can do other errands nearby. -Store is not crowded and crammed like other mailbox places. I feel relaxed walking in. -Will not pester you to pick up packages like other places. He gives you 90 days to pick it up. Cons: -Yrly mailbox rental prices are about $10-$20 higher than other places I looked into, but the Pros listed above outweigh the extra bucks. -He stacks all the packages he receives against the wall in 1 big pile. Takes a while for him to find your package and sometimes he misses one so you'll have to go back to get it and let him know what size you think it may be so he can hunt for it. read more

However it seems as though their prices are higher than the US Post Offices in the area. I shipped a 7ounce box UPS ground for $13 that should have been more around $6.
