Yelp made me choose a rating star but this store gets a big, fat, NEGATIVE 0 RATING!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE!!!!! First of all it smells nasty in there, like mold and old rotted wood. Secondly, there is never anyone at the counter. You have to yell out, "hello" and then this old, grumpy, Asian lady comes out, doesn't greet you properly and just stares at you, looking completely bothered like you interrupted her! It turns out that she is the General Manager of the store-Tracy Chou!!!! Today, makes the third negative experience I have encountered with her and enough is enough! The last time I was at her store, she was babysitting her granddaughter or grandson and the baby was crying from the top of its lungs, she was feeding the baby with a spoon, customers were waiting in line and she would not tend to any of the customers. When she finally decided to come to the counter, she was rude and short because she just wanted to return and tend to her grandkid. Today, I walked in with two boxes for UPS and USPS because I was returning some defective items. She doesn't greet me at all, no eye contact and she grabs the boxes and says, "I can take this one but not the other box". It seems that there had been some confusion with the information I received from the company that I was returning the items to. They had told me that the label on the box was the return label and Tracy was very rude to me when I asked her if it was a return label. So, I called the company on my cell phone while I was still at the store and they told me that they can email me a return label and that I could print it ou at the store. I told Tracy that they were emailing me a return label and they told me that since she was an authorized UPS retail store that she could print it for the customers. She said, "No, we don't do that". I asked her, "why not" and she said with a poor and mean attitude, "because we don't". While I was on the phone, Tracy was following my daughter with her eyes and her neck stretch out like a giraffe, as my 13 year old daughter was browsing through some of the items in that awful store, sort of like she thought my daughter was going to steal something! It was very uncomfortable and it really bothered me. I told her that she was very rude and asked for her name. She said, "Tracy". I asked, "your last name"? Annoyed, he spelled out Chou. I asked her if she could write it for me on a paper and she said, "No". Then she sarcastically said, I could give you my business card, after it was like pulling teeth just to get her full name. In the middle of all this happening, another customer came in and Tracy was all smiles with her and asked her for her husband and asked how he was doing. Meanwhile, she did not tend to my problem, never apologized for not being able to help me today, NOTHING! When she gave me the business card, she yelled out, "Thank you I really appreciate it" with a wicked, fake smile and started laughing and talking with the other customer so she did not have to listen to me anymore or cater to me as a customer. I told her, "I am not sure why you are saying, I really appreciate it" but I will tell you one thing, "I don't appreciate how I was treated in your store today and I am going to complain to UPS and write a negative review about you on Yelp! She ignored me like she could care less. After reading all the negative reviews on Yelp, I could see that this lady is rude to everyone that walks through that door!! I can't help but to think that Foodie F. is actually Tracy Chou who is trying to write a positive review about herself. UPS and these other shipping companies should really re-consider having Tracy Chou as a face and a representative for their companies. She is an awful, disrespectful uneducated, rude and disgusting person and should not own a business. She doesn't have a clue how to run a business and how to provide excellent customer service! I have been coming here for at least 3 years. Usually I bring boxes to send out. Rarely, I may have forgotten to tape a part in the box and the employee I usually always see, older lady, will kindly tape that small area for me. Since she's always been so nice and helpful, I've brought most of my business and family's business here. One morning I went to drop off a box, and one corner wasn't taped so well- there was an Asian lady working instead of the usual one that would help me. She tapped it up and said $2. I said what? She said $2 charge for me tapping. I was shocked I told her- I've been coming here for years, no one has ever charged me. She said ok then you give me tip. REALLY? I took out a $5 bill and gave it to her. I was utterly surprised how crazy she could have been to DEMAND a tip. I hope the $5 I gave her made her less bitter. Watch out for her. When I called to speak with the owner days later, she answered the phone. When I asked her if the owner was there, she replied no. When I asked when will they be in, she replied I don't know. Huge lack of customer service skills. Very disappointed! read more

ABC Mailbox was conveniently located, however I find that they are not as welcoming or helpful as previous boxes I've had at two different UPS Stores. The folks at ABC just aren't very customer service oriented. For example if I call to ask if I've gotten a package, they've said to me that they don't provide that service and I should come in to check my mail. I've only called a couple of times in the 8 months I've had their service, so it's not like I'm hounding them daily for information. I just don't think they get that they are in the service business. I will be considering changing from their store, but hesitate because if I were to do so, I'd have to change my address with everyone who might send me mail. read more

I recently had a serious problem sending a package with this place. I needed to mail a wine basket to Texas for the holidays. I first tried the United States Postal Service just down the block but was told that they aren't allowed to ship wine. They said I had to ship it via UPS or FedEx and to go to ABC. The item was in the original packaging that it had arrived to the wine store, which I felt was secure. ABC told me the cheapest way to send the package would be UPS Ground, which also included $200 insurance. I paid and left and waited to hear from the receiving party. After more than a week, I received a call from ABC saying the package was returned damaged. I went to the store to find only half of my items returned in a completely different package. Every item returned was smashed. And the wine was nowhere to be found. I was obviously pretty upset at this discovery. The lady behind the counter called UPS and was told that without a special permit to ship wine, there would be no reimbursement. Furthermore, there was absolutely nothing that I could do because once I dropped the package of at ABC, I was no longer UPS's customer - ABC was. At this point I had to rely on the lady behind the counter to care enough about getting MY money back as I did, which was clearly not the case. So basically, I paid ABC $24 for shipping, $60 for the wine basket, and wasn't able to get a cent back. I will probably never use a shipping center again, and most certainly not this one. read more

I walk in to leave a fedex or ups package . the owner or employee is not to welcoming or barely acknowledges you when you come in. the owner and employees would get more biz if they could at least smile and know you have entered the store. read more

Avoid like the plague! I needed something shipped FedEx overnight and this place was close to my office so I thought I was in good shape. WRONG! I went to put in the tracking number the next morning and the tracking number was not found. Today, I called FedEx customer service and they cannot find ANY info on my package. I called ABC Mailbox Rentals and apparently the old Asian woman that handles the packages keeps all the info in her office and does not come in until 1PM today so nothing can be done until then. Do yourself a favor and go to a legit FedEx vendor. read more

I have given this business several chances to improve their poor service because it is 2 blocks from where I live and I believe in supporting local businesses when possible. The older woman working there was confused and rude to the woman in front of me, who had done nothing to warrant that reaction, and when I told her what I needed (2 boxes to pack textbooks in) she sighed and said she had "hundreds of boxes" and didn't know how to help me without seeing the books. She was incredibly impatient and sarcastic. When I gave her an idea of how big the books were, she sighed and shook her head and acted as if I was being unreasonable--expecting the proprietor of a packing business to help me find an appropriate box for my needs. If she had shown me a couple options I could have chosen the one that met my needs. The last time I had items shipped from there, the items were packed so poorly--by that same woman--that they arrived severely damaged. Terrible service. read more
