I appreciate this branch of the Post Office for its long hours and mostly friendly staff. However, they have recently started collecting pre-labeled packages in the lobby instead of letting them pile up on the counter, which you might think would be a positive. However, I have noticed that these packages aren't being processed nearly as quickly, sometimes up to two days after drop-off. For example, I dropped off two packages on a Tuesday morning, she placed them at the bottom of her rolling bin, and they were not processed/postmarked until Wednesday night/overnight Thursday. I find this to be unacceptable, especially when you have customers waiting, and have had to start dropping off packages at other offices further from home. read more

The service is always good at this location. The staff is friendly. There are machines that you can send your packages and buy stamps. They have PO Boxes for rent to keep your mail secure. The value of the post office fees are a little expensive but you can rest assure your mail is secure. You can pay for the rental every six months or annually. read more

My least favorite post office is this old dirty location that has long lines and will not be able to find your package due to being so disorganized. The people working here are not helpful and will make you waste your time coming to this location. If you can avoid this location, I highly recommend that. Don't leave your mail at a place that is not organized. Update: The USPS Needs to change the supervisor and the management at this location. They have lost another package and stated it was delivered when it was not. This lovation should not be the main location in Burbank. I'm forced to leave a star where this postal office's workers deserve none. This is NOT the first time I've caught a lazy delivery person. The last time, I gave the person instructions to our elevator and how to press buttons to deliver the packages to homes. This one didn't give a damn. I watched as he used someone's package to hold open the door. Then I watched as he literally threw them against the wall. When I asked if he was just going to leave them there for anyone to see and steal, he actually said, "Yeah. And???" I told him I was going to report him and he said, "So what?" This is who you hire???? And judging by the silence on this page, you don't care enough to do anything about it. This post office went downhill, it used to be nicer and better managed. They don't passports here anymore! Even if you find in a google search that they do! Other USPS locations might do passports but not this one, which is a shame, my husband had his done here. Free parking lot, customer service not that great, I had to get somebody's attention who was like a host and helping other people ahead of me but when my turn came he left. I've received other people's mail in my PO Box numerous times, they have lost packages of mine numerous times (and found one in someone else's P.O. Box). Such a shame one cannot feel secure with their mail hoping to get it. One of the answers I got from management was "hopefully others will be honest and return a package that's not theirs". Most of the time I have had great service from the USPS. I purchased something on eBay the seller sent it to me via standard priority mail. $15.50 from Florida to California in 4 days or so. The seller used a priority express box. The package was delayed by weather for 4 days. It took 9 days for me to get it in my hands. Upon arrival at my door the postal carrier hits me up for $60 additional in freight because of the express box the package was mailed in. These clowns don't understand that they can't charge me the express rate when I did not get that level of service. I had to pay the ransom to get my package. Now I have to deal with some guy to get my 60 bucks back. It's their mistake off the bat and now I have to jump through the hoops for my $60 bucks. I am shocked this place has even two stars. I went in today and And employee had his mask down below his nose and kept pulling it all the way down so he could get some fresh air as he put it. Someone even commented and he just kept doing it. In a room full of customers. I got up to the window to pick up a package, and said hello cheerfully. The woman behind the counter was so excessively rude to me that after she huffed at me for like, the tenth time, I said to her loudly 'her, I'm so sorry you have to do your job today'. It's a tradition to hate the post office. The lines are always too long, the workers disgruntled and the place is depressing to look at with its institutional gray on the walls, the aged posters of stamps that they've long since stopped selling and the rude way the workers speak when they yell "Next!". This place is no different. They have one of those machines where you can customize your postage and 4 drop off mailboxes that are convenient to drive by with a 10am pick up at the earliest. Those features alone make the post office tolerable. Although the staff can sometimes be helpful, they don't always rise to the occasion. Who can blame them? They work at the post office. read more

This post office is an absolute P.O.S. I called five times just to wait over a half an hour and for no one to answer and the call ends. I run a small business and can't rely on the employees of the postal office to NOT damage any of my envelops or boxes. I have had numerous customers tell me that they received there products heavily damaged because of the treatment of the post office. I sell things because of there brand new condition and you could definitely leave it up to the post office for them to FUCK it up!! This is very upsetting and frustrating because it's out of my power. I try putting them in all kinds of boxes with bubble wrap, shipping peanuts, you NAME it. I've tried mailing 2 certified letters, neither of which got to the destination. First excuse was it potentially was "not scanned" by the postal worker and second time was "I don't know what happened." I wouldn't say this is the worst post office. They have gotten a bit better since adding additional self serve kiosks inside near the passport office. There are always lines so I'm not one to generally wait and have become very accustomed to using the kiosks. My biggest gripe with those is the drop box ALWAYS gets jammed before I need to make a drop and they don't have a secondary drop box. Also I'm not a fan of the printed stamps for envelopes and really wish they could sell a book of stamps from these kiosks. Today however we waited in the line. And as always it was slow. But once we were helped the guy was very helpful and friendly. I can't fault them for being under staffed. And if you are nice, they will treat you well. But their mood can turn on a dime, so keep your attitude in check if you don't want to leave in a huge huff! There is a passport office available here on limited days. I got my passport here 8 years ago and didn't have a hard time. I posted a picture of their hours. Come prepared, with all your documents and paperwork filled out and with an appointment and it shouldn't be so bad. The post office also has a bunch of P.O. boxes of various sizes for rent. There is a drive up mailbox, however by the end if the day it tends to be over flowing! I'd personally take my mail and drop off inside. Parking frees up quickly so if there isn't a spot, just hang for a minute or so and one will come available. My words of advise is buy a small scale and mail from home off the USPS.com website. It's easy, convenient and a little bit cheaper to ship. You can order free purity mail boxes online and they are shipped to your door for free. Plus they have free scheduled pick ups so you never need to leave. Or get accustomed to their self serve kiosks. And if the drop box is jammed and the office is open, just pay for postage and hand to the mail person behind the counter. You don't have to wait in line! read more

This post office location has really gone downhill. Lately, I've had NOTHING but issues with my deliveries and this location's supervisor. They stopped leaving packages, which I have had to chase 4 packages down in the last two weeks. On a redelivery, I specifically requested to leave it, and they did not. My coworker scheduled a redelivery for his package and it never came. I've called the supervisor TWICE regarding this issue. She is not friendly, and not helpful at all. She wouldn't let me finish talking and kept saying the same thing over and over again that didn't even address what I was saying at the moment. This location is so awful, that I even submitted a complaint to the government regarding it. read more
