The new owner has betrayed my long standing renting of mailbox and did not forward after i moved, rather, sent important documents back to sender or threw my mail away and i have been unable to change address with post office. The woman and her worker were unkind and sent me a cease and desist text when i was unable to change the address as my mail continues to go there and they were unwilling to work with me since my move. additionally i would actually call them mean girls. read more

If it wasn't bad enough before, the original owner who wasn't the nicest person retired and the lady who took over is the worst! We stepped in (since I can walk here) and the place was a mess, people's mail everywhere, voting ballots and such! We were gonna send a package out for work via Fedex and give her a number for billing. She was so unprepared and said she doesn't know how to do the billing, almost like she wanted us to leave. I know we were giving her work. She was so unsure of it (had to make a call to be guided for) and we were sending original items, not replaceable so we started to worry. She made us worry even more by not showing she's capable to send our items normally, the regular process. She also didn't seem to care about it, just about how she'll be paid. No, put yourself first, not the customer and how you will help them to retain. Needless to say I will never set foot in this place. Incompetent new owner! read more

Walked in for the first time to get a FREE usps box , only to be rudely denied because apparently "a lot of people have been coming in and taking the boxes " and I wasn't 100 percent sure if I was going to use their services ! She then proceeded to belittle me with her sarcasm and say " you can go to post office and get one right down the street " as if I'm not aware ! don't get a mailbox here unless you want your things stolen. when my package went missing, instead of reporting it immediately to authorities because it's a federal crime, Jessica just let the lady get away with stealing. and the lady who stole, also was renting a mailbox there. No matter what the circumstances are, theft should be reported to the authorities immediately. Instead they helped her keep part of my stuff (she returned what she felt like giving back but didn't return everything) and not face reproccusions because supposedly the lady had mental health problems. The staff's personal relationships with the box holders does not excuse stealing. Bad business. Save your money and go somewhere that will actually help you. Also, they allow their pet dog to sit, sleep, and play on top of the same counter they serve customers on. Very unhygienic. If you're allergic to Dogs, or just don't like Dogs being forced upon you, also avoid this place. read more

This place is the absolute worst! They charge you extra and don't tell you. If you use your own fedex account they can't give you a price which doesn't happen anywhere else. I dropped off a package yesterday to fedex overnight and fedex called me today at 4:30pm to tell me they don't have a complete address and haven't sent it out yet. If I could give Scott 10 stars I would, he's the best! He'll even give you a call when you receive a package. I love that! A little over 3 years ago during tax season someone took a package from my front door in my gated apartment building. My apartment manager called me to tell me he found an open package in the recycling bin with my name on it and it looked like it had important papers in it. What was it? My taxes retuned from my accountant with under a week to file. I almost had a heart attack! The amount of money and time I would have been out over losing my receipts, multiple W2's and my accountant's finished work was something I could not afford. Plus, I would be penalized by the IRS. I decided that my mail was not secure in my building so that same week I went to NoHo Mailboxes and rented a mailbox. I no longer have to worry about a paycheck going into my neighbor's box, a package stolen from my front door step or my mail stolen by identity thieves. The main lid that covers all the mailboxes in my apartment building is easy to pry open and I've never felt my mail was secure in my building, because it isn't. Scott makes sure I get my mail, that items I mail out get picked up and only my mail is in my mailbox. Just the other day I had to give a neighbor their mail, happens way too often in my apartment building. It's affordable and it will save you a lot of headaches if you know your mail is safe and secure. You'll never have to worry about someone taking something from your front door, a paycheck that went into your neighbor's box or someone other than yourself getting your mail. I've had a box here for two years now. I move around a lot, so to keep from having to change my address I use this mailbox. Scott is great. He'll call you when you have a package. You can call him to check your mailbox if you're waiting for something to see if it's there. Or anything else you need. I sometimes forget when to go in and pay to renew but he always lets me renew via phone. Great business to work with. I keep signing the 3-month plan but I should just sign a year renewal next time... Oh and 24/7 access is great too! read more
