My son needed a new passport picture for his renewal and we were able to get this taken care of here. I also needed to mail something to a client and since my office is still not open and I'd never in this lifetime have the type of patience to endure the post office line and parking lot, I was delighted to find out they could handle my shipping needs as well. This store is conveniently located in Sherman Oaks and has plenty of residential parking behind the store. I will see if the owner is a little pushy and has a little patience. I came here to have my fingerprints done to submit to the government, and she kept telling me that I was putting my finger on the machine wrong. She insisted that I kept doing it wrong when I think it was the machine or her program. I'm not very familiar with fingerprinting machines but I press down so hard my fingers were turning ghost white. My joints hurt after each press which led me to believe that it's the machine that she needs to update. Besides that uncomfortable task, her store has cute knickknacks that might be good stocking stuffers for Christmas that you can pick up on the go. read more

This is a great place to send packages. They accept packages from every major carrier (UPS, USPS, Fedex etc). This place was a lifesaver during COVID19. You will avoid the long lines at USPS or other mail places and they are quick. read more

I just had an awkward encounter at this USPS store at Allott and Ventura. I simply wanted to mail a 5.5 x 8.5 card to Studio City. The woman said it would cost $.80 and proceeded to put a single standard forever stamp on it. I said I thought she would weigh it and stick a postage label on it but not understanding me she said if I wanted tracking it would cost $9. I said I just want it to go regular mail. After she and a man briefly conversed, she then said it would require another stamp for another $.80 to mail it out for a total of $1.60. I said I would just hand deliver it in Studio City and left, after paying $.80 for a $.63 stamp. I went to the US post office to mail it out and it cost $.63, no problem. Ridiculous! read more

Great place, wonderful service. Be sure to park in the back lot and get your parking ticket validated - so convenient! I've seen Postal Annex many a time since I get my hair done around the block. It had finally come time to renew my passport and needing a photo, I needed focus on getting it done somewhere.. When I got PA coupons in the mail, I knew I had to come by. The coupon was for a free measuring tape as well as a couple bucks off a $15 purchase. Well, passport photo taken (she took a couple) and upon payment, honored my coupons. I didn't catch the names of the two staffers, but they were so patient and easy going, I was grateful for their help. I would definitely come again the next time I need photos or a quick packing supply. It's just so convenient, there's no reason not to! read more

I would give this place No stars if i could. They wasted my valuable time. I went in there to do a Priority flat and another letter. This usually takes no longer than 5 minutes, but he was like slower than a turtle. He couldn't do it. I mean what is hard about punching in a few things in the computer? What is his problem for crying out loud? Then he was unable to do it and got the other lady to do it. She was unable to do it. I kept telling them I have a client in 5 minutes. This was about 20 minutes into doing this. Then she said that they can't do it. WTF?!!! This is what they do all day long!!! How can they not do it. How can they not process a simple Priority mail? These people shouldn't be in business. At least in this business. If you want to waste your time and not get service, then this is the place to go. If you want to get your mail services done, then go elsewhere or directly to the Post Office. read more

I had two packages to drop off for Fed Ex shipping. one came with prepaid envelope and the other I received a QR code and was told it could be scanned by FedEx shipping center. This business scanned and accepted the package with preprinted label and said they couldn't accept the other without a printed label. They offered to have me email the label to them while I was in the store and they would print it but they wanted to charge me a dollar for printing the label! So if you have returns, print your labels at home or go to a true FedEx shipping center. read more
