Terrible! Attempted to return an amazon package this morning 08/12/24 at 08:45 AM and the employee was adamant that I could not return my package without a box when my return SPECIFICALLY said i COULD return my item WITHOUT a box. He insisted I place my item in a box and was even pushing for me to purchase a box and tape directly from the store to which i refused. He said amazon would not pick up my item without a box, After showing him MULTIPLE times my return instructions where amazon states i DO NOT NEED TO BOX MY ITEM IN ORDER TO RETURN IT!! he then proceeded to scan my return QR and tell me amazon gave me the wrong return label????? Stating that "RED" was only for "small items" after further investigation "RED" is not for small items "RED" is for items amazon wants to inspect before they process a return. This employee had absolutely no idea what he was talking about and completely LIED to my face and refused to take my item. What a jerk. Where most ups stores are crowded, dirty and with uncivilized service--this family owned business is genuinely warm, friendly and very clean and organized. I've never encountered a line here either. Extremely disappointed in this location as I typically go here. Made an appointment a few days ago to get a document notarized at this location. We show up, the man tells us that their notary person called in sick. Hmmm, maybe call or text me to let me know instead of us adjusting our whole schedule to come to your location for us to find out on the spot. I almost never write reviews but this is the best UPS store of the many I've used all over the country, so I felt absolutely compelled to post this. The owners Ella and Ben (a married couple) are extraordinarily kind, thorough and meticulous, and they provide both UPS and USPS services with great care and professionalism. The store has parking in the front and the back so you never have to struggle for a spot. I go there constantly to take care of all kinds of matters (legal documents needing to be notarized, sending fragile gifts, returning packages to Amazon, etc...) and they're so efficient, I almost never have had to wait. The customer service is superb, and Ella, Ben (and their employee Brittney) are so helpful and efficient that I always leave feeling very taken care of and happier than when I arrived. This store refused packages that UPS redirected for in store pickup vs. home delivery for security reasons. Received an e-mail that the (4) packages were ready for pickup on 4/29/23. Stopped in today 4/30/23 to pick up and they first told me that the UPS driver refused to dop off. I called 1-800-PICK-UPS and they informed me that no, it was the store that refused the package. I went back and confronted the store owners - they said that if I had rented a private mailbox from them, they could have received the packages, however, since I wasn't a private client - they had to refuse the delivery because the mailbox people get priority. I filed a complaint with UPS and they are going to elevate the matter for corporate review and try to intercept the packages in Van Nuys so that I can pick up. I really wanted to like this place, being that it's a mom and pop shop that is raising their daughter in the back room. Previous experiences were also just as bad - their notary service is slower than molasses with zero actual knowledge of CA requirements. Another previous experience they returned a package after 3 days. Still trying to locate that package. And prior to that they lost a package that was valued at over $1K and I never filed a claim (tracking # for verification 1Z2V987V4220189053). 3 STRIKES AND THEY'RE OUT! read more

I love this new UPS Store. Only 3 months new, this store is family-owned and very efficient and friendly. Owners Bahman and Elaheh are the sweetest couple ever. They go above and beyond to serve their customers, making sure packages are boxed up securely. They are polite, hardworking, and go the extra mile when customers are waiting in line. I've been in this UPS Store three times now, and I've gotten great service every time. Easy parking on Cantura, one block south of Ventura (watch the street-cleaning signs). Located right across the street from Lemonade, this is my new go-to shop for Amazon returns, packaging/shipping supplies, and buying and mailing greeting cards. This is a really good UPS store location, and it's close to my house (always important). So what are the things you need to know about this location in particular? Well first off, it's located right on Ventura Blvd. Which means? You guessed it: no parking! There is metered street parking, but it is usually full right in front of the store. My recommendation is to park a block further west where there are usually meters open and walk the difference. I think parking is truly important when it comes to rating UPS locations because you just want to park, drop off your packages, and leave. Ease and convenience make a big difference. Right now in Studio City your choices are metered street parking at this location of the WORLD'S WORST PARKING LOT at Laurel Canyon and Riverside. For my money, I choose metered street parking. Next up: understaffed. This location only ever has one employee working, so if there's a line, THERE'S A LINE. Now the good thing about UPS is that it is much quicker than FedEx or the Post Office, but just know that the line is there. Overall though this is my preferred location. Really appreciate the service and they've always been helpful! read more

Awesome staff - they are very helpful - and this location is always spotlessly clean and smells really nice. There is rarely a line and when there is a line it moves very quickly. There is literally nowhere anyone wants to be less during the holidays than a shipping center. It is anxiety inducing, to say the least. Tried to make sure that the notary was available when we needed since we had limited time and they gave us a time to come in but when we did, they had no idea when the notary would be back or where they were. I've been coming here for quite a while now and I've never had any trouble. Today I came, I parked in the back as usual, and was denied entry. I have a very bad back and was asked to park in front. Even after it was explained that I would not be able to walk the long distance with the packages I had, I was still denied entry. This man who owns this business has no compassion, does not care about his clients and has lost this one permanently.They are on Ventura Boulevard where there is absolutely no parking whatsoever, they do have specific parking in the back and I've always been allowed access. That is no longer the case, they will not let people park in the back and come in. My time working with them is done, completely nonsensical stupid move as far as I'm concerned.. read more

I've been to this location twice this week during hours listed on their door and website , and they have not been open. I rushed out of work today and out of my way to make it here in time to return my Amazon packages and did make it in time however they already locked their doors. My Amazon package will probably now now be accepted back. It's really frustrating, because I could have gone to another location in this time instead they could have been open. read more
