Note: They charge $3 per package for taping your boxes and $0.5 per photocopy. I'd rather go to UPS, USPS or Fedex

The hotel was supposed to drop my keys off at the store and ended up not doing so or informing me. Being that I had already paid for a label and was missing work I was frantically searching for ways to get my package to the store. In the last attempt I asked if a worker could pick it up and Ryan went out of his way during rush hour for them to ensure my package made it before the next day air truck arrived. My package is on its way and I won't have to miss another day at work. As a fellow UPS store employee for a San Jose, Ca location it is refreshing to see such great customer service and willingness to help someone in need. I would give them 100 stars if I could. I highly recommend them for all your business.

Copy making, Shipping/Delivery, Printing,Scanning, Mailbox centers, Packing, Notary, Shredding and Faxing. I visited this particular UPS store for the 3-rd time yesterday an hour before closing time and got a prompt, friendly hello from Ryan. He was very professional and easy to talk to. What I needed to do was mail a package, receive a package that has gone to another UPS location, and needed a big bag of old documents to be shredded. I left everything up to him and trusted him with my important documents to be shredded. It goes by weight and didn't cost much. Less than $40. Store is small, but kept well and was clean. I got my package, and left the store. No public restrooms and has a parking lot that is shared with other businesses. They accept credit cards. Thank you Ryan, and UPS stores for being around since 1996!

This is a five star review for the staff at Studio City Mailboxes, NOT for Fed Ex shipping which…read morecreated the need for so much intervention on their part. I had important documents including a driver's license that needed to be shipped to my son in England, which I sent to be held for pick up. When my son arrived at the pick-up location, he was told by the staff in England that there was a special code he needed or they couldn't release the package (it was sent no signature required, addressed to him, and he had ID.) Knowing how impossible Fed Ex is to deal with, I went in person to Studio City Mailboxes to ask for help. One of the two employees on duty spent over an hour working with me on this before calling Michelle, the manager, who remembered me sending the package and said she would work on it even though she was not presently on duty in the store. It took several days to resolve because no one but Michelle and the staff at Studio City Mailboxes seemed to care or be willing to make any effort to resolve the issue. Michelle spent DAYS contacting Fed Ex, keeping me informed of her process, and even called my son in England to make sure he was ultimately successful picking up his package. Michelle then gave me a courtesy refund of the $70 charge for Fed Ex. I hope that Studio City Mailboxes was not out of pocket for the time and effort they made to resolve an important issue. This is what customer service by humans, not a chatbot, looks like. Both Michelle and her colleague understood the problem (which was not of their making) and the importance of correcting it, and did everything they could think of until it was resolved. They easily could have shrugged and given me the phone number for Fed Ex (which no human answers) but they never put it on me to solve this or to pay for inadequate service. I've been coming to Studio City Mailboxes for years, I've seen the staff, especially Michelle, deal with difficult customers and frustrating situations, and staff has always been courteous, professional, and proactive. I can't express my appreciation enough, staff's work and attitude is why I will keep coming back, 100%

Our appointment was already in the system, they recognized us right when we arrived, and we were taken in right away. The gentleman handling the TSA PreCheck was outstanding. My mother‑in‑law has circulatory issues that make fingerprinting tricky, but he knew exactly what to do. He used lotion, had her warm and rub her hands, and tried different techniques until her prints showed up clearly. He was patient, kind, and clearly experienced. It made a big difference. While we were there, they also had a great sale going on. I was able to pick up crayons, markers, and other Crayola products at a super low price. Michael at the counter helped me out and even added a 20 percent discount, which was a nice surprise. Overall, fast service, friendly people, and a genuinely helpful team. A great experience all around.

This Staples location is completely negligent and should not be trusted as a UPS Access Point under…read moreany circumstances. I received an email from UPS stating that my package had been picked up. Within ONE HOUR of receiving that email, I immediately called this Staples location. I spoke to Peter, who identified himself as the assistant manager. He told me it was a glitch in the system and confirmed that BOTH of my packages were physically still at the store. I very clearly told him that I would be there the next morning (today) with government-issued ID to pick them up. He confirmed this. I repeated it multiple times. Despite that conversation, my packages were STILL released that same night to a random man. I never authorized anyone else to pick up my packages. I never listed an alternate pickup person with UPS. I had TWO separate packages with TWO separate tracking numbers. UPS emails literally say "PLEASE BRING ID." Yet somehow Staples released BOTH of my packages to someone who was not me, not authorized, and not verified. When I came in this morning exactly as I told Peter I would, he told me a gentleman picked them up last night. That makes absolutely no sense. Why would someone pick them up last night AFTER I spoke to you directly and told you I was coming today with ID? No one could answer that. I was then told that Jack was the employee who released my packages. Jack released TWO packages with TWO different tracking numbers to a person I never authorized. That alone is a massive failure of procedure. Releasing one package without ID is bad enough. Releasing two separate packages without authorization is reckless. It gets worse. One male employee was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and gave me attitude while I was trying to understand how my packages were stolen. Peter had to tell him to stop getting involved. Peter then said, "I assumed it was your boyfriend." That is NOT company policy. You do not get to assume anything. Authorization is not based on assumptions. If I never authorized someone on UPS, you do not release my packages to them. Period. I then spoke to Claudia Ayala, the manager on site, who was completely nonchalant, defensive, and uninterested in resolving the issue. She backed up her staff and said there was nothing they could do. She initially REFUSED to give me the names of who was working the night before until I told her I was filing a police report and escalating this to Staples corporate and UPS. Only then did she cooperate. I even pulled up the UPS website in front of her, which clearly outlines FOUR pickup options. Every single option requires government-issued ID and or authorized pickup status. NONE of those procedures were followed here. There was no urgency. No accountability. No validation. No professionalism. These were valuable packages, including company property. This was THEIR error and they treated it like an inconvenience. The bottom line: if you receive an email stating that your package has been dropped off at this location, PICK IT UP IMMEDIATELY. Do not wait. Do not trust them to hold it. They do not know how to follow company policy. This is negligent. This is careless. This is irresponsible. This is unprofessional. This is unacceptable. I have filed a UPS claim, I am filing a police report, and have escalated this to Staples corporate. Do not use this location for UPS pickup unless you are prepared for your packages to be handed to a stranger.
