Terrible the old Asian man that works here kept insisting I needed to buy a box to make a return, I told him politely I didn't need a box and offered me a $5 envelope, cash! When I told him I didn't have cash he sighed at me, was extremely rude. I ended up leaving my package and asked for a receipt which he refused to give me so I asked for his name, at least, to which he replied, " are you okay?" And "I don't need to give you my name what's your name." Completely unbelievable. Then a women came in and he charged her $3 for the large envelope! read more

I'm kind of in shock reading all these negative reviews from here. I've been coming here for years to do my FedEx or UPS drop offs as this is the closest location to me. I know they also offer USPS drop-offs but the actual post office is closer to me so I go there for that. I'm fairly certain the owner is the one who I see all the time as I've been coming here for years and he's always been polite and quick with service. If you need a drop off, this is a convenient fast spot. The other reviews mention he upcharges for stamps? So I would say go elsewhere for that. read more

This contracted USPS location is the absolute worst. I walked in and no one was at the counter I had to yell "hello " because there wasn't a bell or anything to alert them of my presence. When the guy came to the counter, there wasn't any type of greeting. I was mailing a prepaid postage package and provided him with the barcode. He then said that I had to pay $2. I inquired what the charge was for since it was a prepaid label. He flatly said pay it or don't. I paid it because I didn't want the hassle of trying to locate an official USPS Post Office . I don't live in the area. Anyway, another customer walked in while I was there and was trying to engage him and he completely ignored him as well. I filed a complaint with the United States Postal Service, and was told that since it's a privately owned business, he can charge additional fee for printing the label but at the post office they do not charge additional fee for prepaid package labels. My first time here, and last. Guy working here (maybe owner?) is 100% a total rude dick. I noticed employee/owner try to short-change the customer before me, and when he brought up the missing $2, the owner joking accused him of trying to steal it. Felt shady enough already, but when he literally threw my package back at me for asking for a receipt, that was all I needed to know. Not trusting my package there. Looked like a mess anyways. They rip customers off. See comment and pictures. I mailed 3 envelopes that weighed just under 8 oz each. The clerk sold me 24 forever stamps for $16.80. (Or 70 cents per stamp, with 8 stamps on each envelope, for $5.60 per envelope). I thought the price was high, and when I got home, I checked the post office's website. The price for 1st class mail for large envelopes weighing under 8 oz is $3.07. The total cost should have been $9.21, not $15.60. I went back and saw that they did in fact put 8 forever stamps on the envelope. I confronted the clerk and the owner. The clerk said they just sold me forever stamps and that was the correct number. He had no response to the printout from the post office showing this was wrong. The owner said that they don't have $3.07 stamps. I am shocked that a mailing center does not have stamps in various denominations. (Three $1 stamps, a five-cent stamp, and 2 one-cent stamps would have done it.) But even so, I asked him why he didn't just put on FIVE forever stamps. (Forever stamps are currently 68 cents each, and that would be a total of $3.40, well above the $3.07 price.) He said I could go to the post office if I wanted that. Bottom line: they are buying forever stamps at 68 cents (or perhaps less), selling them at 70 cents, and putting on more stamps than are needed. They made at least 48 cents on this transaction (24 stamps x 2 cents each). Even if they did not have the correct postage -- itself a problem -- they should have made at most 30 cents (15 stamps x 2 cents each). To gain the extra 18 cents, they were willing to add more stamps than was necessary and cost me $6.39 more than what I should have paid. The owner won't admit he is doing this and presumably won't stop. If they are willing to impose large costs on customers so that they could make a small additional profit, they are fundamentally dishonest. I would never use this shop again. read more

Business hours advertised from 9am-5:30pm. Came in around 5:16pm 1/22/24, to purchase stamps to mail my Mothers birthday cards, just to be informed by an employee of Asian descent (did not catch his name) that it was closed at this time, and he couldn't sale me any stamps as he pointed to a closed off area. I'd have to come back another day. I came out in the rain, ahead of closing hours just to be shut down. I highly doubt that the owner treats his customers this way. I wouldn't be surprised if this employee has done this to others as well. Pretty disappointing. read more

I try not to go if I can help it. It's usually when I am pressed for time. The owner is just such a sour man. He's been that way since he purchased the business. I was a notary at that time. I was in there when a customer needed a notary service. He didn't have one. I offered to help, went to my car, got my supplies and notarized him in the store. Would I have done it on the hood of my car?! In front of other customers he told me I had to give him 50% of what I charged since I did it in his shop. The shock on my face was as obvious as July 4th at the Hollywood Bowl. He intimidated the hell out of me until I relented, having not said a word to his rant. Had I walked out the door he probably would have chased after me. He is a bully and has never changed. Sad, sad miserable man. read more

This store is over the top horrible and the person who operates this place is just plain nasty. The other day I loaded 9 boxes of books, each weighting 25 lbs., one box at a time from my car into the store. When I had completed that he turns to me and says that it's too many boxes and he doesn't have room and that I have to take them to the main post office. I asked, why he didn't advise me of that during the time I was hauling them in one by one. He said he didn't see me but to get them out. I just really couldn't believe it. Everything I read here is 100% true. The owner of this place is completely unprofessional, with a serious attitude problem. He should not be a part of our community, or working in any public place. I've seen him raise his voice at people before, and even making inappropriate comments about customers once they leave the store. He has no respect for our business, and it seems like he doesn't care about bad reviews online either... at least I'll join in and share my experience: I avoid this place as much as possible, but it's the closest USPS location to my home, so I have to stop there on rare occasions. Last week I sent a small envelope internationally. He told me multiple times that I need to be very detailed about the content description. I clearly repeated myself that it's a rubber kids toy. A week later I get the envelope back because the description wasn't detailed enough, and only then I saw that he labeled it as "TOY"... Very upsetting already. I knew exactly what his response will be, but I had to try, so I took it back to him today and asked why he only typed a single word if he knows the procedure so well, and how come he didn't type it the way I described exactly, which was more detailed. Of course he wouldn't take any responsibility. He said I wasn't detailed enough as he told me to be, and that it needed more information, but he didn't type the full information I gave him! Almost like he did it on purpose... After some back and forth he said I can add it on the label by hand and it will probably be sent back again. I asked if he can print a new label with the full description "RUBBER KIDS TOY" as I told him in the first place. He said I will have to pay for that again. At this point, if I should pay again I'd rather just go someplace else and not give him anymore of my money. Not a penny more. I'm so done with him. Ended up walking 2 miles to the post office on Magnolia where it was resent. Stay away!!! read more

Avoid this place as much as you can, when I went in there and I asked only one question, the guy (older Asian man) starting to make assumptions about who I am and then said why are you angry to me, only after asking one simple question. Then the older man proceeded to raise his voice and get disrespectful for no apparent reason. I can understand that he hates his wife since he's working in a mailbox facility, I would be to. But that does not give you the right to miss treat people who are going to give you money and are polite to you. Ken and his crew are easy to work with. Sometimes I take awhile to collect my mail, and he's friendly about how stuffed my mailbox gets. He's really warmed up over the years I've done business with him. They are very efficient about taking care of my shipping needs, although the truncated Post Office hours and payment options are a little annoying. Great location, too. read more

This place is not honest! I went to ship Christmas gifts to my family out of state and asked SPECIFICALLY to ship with a method that will guarantee delivery before Christmas. The owner told me I needed to use Fedex for a guaranteed delivery on time so I agreed. The gifts didn't make it on time, so I went in for a refund since I was told it was guaranteed. The owner refused to refund me because he said that he shipped Ground instead of Express. He remembered me being there but refused to admit that I asked for a guarantee for it to be there before Christmas. Instead of even entertaining the idea that he miscommunicated or rang me up incorrectly, I was forced to leave empty handed. They also don't accept credit or debit cards which is a pain. read more

Their location is the only thing saving this business and they know it. I have to go there on a weekly basis and they're ALWAYS RUDE. Every single person that works there. And I act extremely nice to them to see if they'll be nice back to me but that never happens. You go anywhere around there, the nail salon, Starbucks, beauty store, rite aid, everyone is just very nice and they also say a lot of people complain about this mail service to them. It would be very nice if they can change the workers there, but I hardly doubt that will ever happen so I guess we just have to suck it up and let them treat us badly while they treat nice only a few selected customers that they seem to already know. Came in and asked for stamps to mail some letter and owner simply said "no stamps" in a really rude way, like I had some audacity to add for stamps at a place called POSTMASTERS. I asked why a place that is in the shipping postage business does not have stamps and he pointed to a sign that didn't make sense which read "no stamps post office closes at 12pm", well I understand the post office closes at 12pm on Saturday but I was at an independent shipping and postage place which opened till later so one might assume that they would pick up where the USPS drops off. At this point I was annoyed at how rude he was so I told him he shouldn't be so rude to customers seeing how this is a customer driven business and he in turn told me I was rude and to ask my mother how come I was so rude, at this point the gloves came off and I responded with some choice words and walked out of there to never return, do that come in here unless you like being treated in exceptionally rude fashion. read more

I was there today to drop off a package for a family member and was helped by an Asian employee. I'm baffled that this postal center's is still in business. The employee who helped us was extremely rude to my mother & I. My mother was asking him approximately how long our package would take to get there. His response was "I don't know. Hurry up and pay we're about to close" What kind of person would say something like that!! It's sad to see a business with extremely horrible customer service.
