Leaving this review on behalf of my dad, he was looking for a printing office or place to print addresses on envelopes. He went to Office Depot and Staples and was turned away because the employees didn't know how to do it but at the same time were quoting him $50-70 for 30 printed envelopes. He went to this UPS location and they weren't sure if it was possible but they tried anyway and succeeded, and only charged him a normal printing price which ended up only being around $10 for 40 printed envelopes. Just left and had such a quick and easy experience. The facility was super clean and tidy. Immediately greeted by an employee named Ivan. I had a handful of Amazon returns and one object needed a box (the object was such a strange shape, I wasn't very hopeful I'd be able to find one). This UPS location is a short walking distance from where I live. I've never been to any other UPS location but I might actually consider doing that. I agree with most reviewers has said, service is so slow, there's always a long line which barely moves. Today Saturday during the holiday rush, you would think they'll be scheduling more people? Nope, there's only one guy on duty and as expected, there's a ridiculous long wait to drop off a prepaid label. Enough said...simply avoid this location if you value your time. read more

Rightfully closed down by UPS. I can't believe that corporate allowed this franchise to exist as long as it did. The husband is a great guy, but I heard that towards the end of operation the wife's state of constant misery even started to rub off on him. So sad. I hope he escapes whatever that situation is... If someone ever desired to open ups a UPS franchise they should get ahold of the corporate office. This one is turn-key and you'd quickly erase the bad reputation of the previous operator. read more

This UPS location is always a hot mess. Randomly closed, crazy long lines, boxes and piles of stuff are covering the walls and counters. Miraculously they've never lost a shipment of mine and for the most part the man and woman that are always working there are nice. I'm always nervous leaving packages with them and the random open hours (they will put signs up at times when they are temporarily closed or can no longer accept Amazon returns) make it a pain in the butt. read more

It saddens me to see that this UPS Store has closed. I was their second customer (Box 102) when moved into my home here in Burbank. That was almost 18 years ago. Sal was amazing. As others have said he was always super helpful and super friendly. I've had some great conversations there with him popping in late in the evening to pick up my mail. I will miss these guys. In all fairness, the gentleman at the counter is neither pleasant nor unpleasant. I just think he's overwhelmed. Every time I go to this location he's by himself with no one to help. I think he does his best under the circumstances. He doesn't have to hold my hand in order for me to get good service. This place sucks. He's never open at the posted times. Waited till 10:20am this morning and still he was a no show. I watched dozens of people walk to his door only to find it closed. VERY UN RELIABLE. His store won't take anymore cable electronics. Better go elsewhere. When he is open, he's rude and not accommodating. The store is messy with package all over the place. Some opened and laying around. Go to the UPS Store on Alameda in the Pavillion's shopping center. The UPS store there, has 2 employees! The store is open! And it's clean and fresh. I came in with three packages, one of which was gigantic and heavy. I waited a few minutes for someone to come to the desk (no one was there). Finally, a woman comes out. I attempted to make my way to the desk, which was blocked by literally hundreds of boxes in various states of packaged and non-packaged disarray. The rude woman at the desk said "you need to bring those here to the scale." I politely said, "apologies, this bottom one is super heavy, so I need to put them down to bring them over one at a time." She rolled her eyes at me. I guess it was my fault the place was a total mess and that I didn't want to trip and fall over everything? I asked her "did you roll your eyes at me?" And she did it again. So I left. And I did tell her I'd be leaving a Yelp review sharing all of this. And she said "oh who cares." So. I guess they don't care about customers. Or business. This place is always a mess. It's absolute chaos. There's an overload of packages always filling up the workspace. It looks bad. The guys who works at this location looks and acts like he hates his job. If he talks to you it'll be a short comment, or he'll be rude to you for not knowing exactly what he expects. This location is close to my house which at first was convenient, but he's been so consistently rude to my wife to the point where I have told her to just drive an extra 5-10 minutes to a different location to not have to deal with him. UPS either needs to help him out with more pick-ups due to the quantity of packages coming through here. Or he needs to take a vacation and hire someone else to help out. Or all 3. read more

Don't bother with this place. Drive 5 mins to another store. I just attempted to go to this place to ship a couple packages the guy saw me, worked with his printer for a little bit and walked into the back. I didn't see him for a few minutes. He then came back out and started playing with his printer/fax machine again not saying anything to me for a while. I asked the question of whether or not they were closed because he hadn't acknowledged me at all. His response was "do I look closed?". Then he started filling with his printer again. This is the third time I've come to this place and got absolutely awful awful service. I decided to leave because he kept ignoring me and go to a different location. Do yourself a favor and go to the UPS store off of Alameda. You will get a lot better customer service  and will probably get help in less time including the 5-minute drive to get there. read more

I went to close my box out since I have to move East to care for a family member. When entering the store and asking about this process, I was informed I need to fill out a form. The manager then asked for my key immediately, but I asked if I get a prorated refund for the days left I paid for. If not, I'll come back and cancel my box closer to my move date to still make use of what I paid. The manager then informed me I hadn't paid my box in a year, even though they have a card on file and every other UPS store I've had a box at charged my card on file. So I ask how is it possible to not pay for a whole year and still have an accessible box? The manager was rude and angry immediately at my questions and demanded I give the key back and leave. I asked if I can have a copy of the form to show proof that I closed my box. She said no. I asked if I can have a receipt showing a closed my box. She said no. I asked why they only sent me one notification for the renewal of my box in 12 months? She walked away at that point. When filling out the form I asked if she is going to send a bill to collections. She didn't answer. I asked how much do I owed she said nothing. I said how does any of this make sense? She said I don't know, shrugged her shoulders and walked away. She continued shouting from the back for the employee in the front to get my key. Keep in mind my key is attached to my keychain. She was advising the employee take it away from me?! She became hostile, angry and straight cold hearted. Completely unable to talk and handle a reasonable question about the situation. She is not an honest person, and she is miserable. I spoke calmly to her but she would not even be civil. This place was pretty bad when I signed up but needed an extra mail box for nonsensical mail. I should have backed out day one but gave it a shot. They even failed to program my key code for the first month and were rude when I asked why. They denied it wasn't done until they checked my file and saw they never set it up. They also changed my access number a few months ago which prevented me from accessing the lobby after hours. But, they gave me a new access number when I I stopped by again. Why would they give me a new access number to enter after hours, not tell me I haven't paid in a year and not lock my box out so I can't get mail? What kind of disorganized business is this place and who are these terrible owners that are so rude to customers? I fully expect the owner to be shady about the closing of my box, especially since she refused to provide me with any receipts or documentation for today's visit. Stay away! read more

I have used this location several times for Amazon returns and it's all been fairly uneventful. Unfortunately, today my interaction went past bad service into hateful and completely uncalled for behavior. I walked in and a woman and her child were waiting, then me and a woman walked in behind me. We all waited several minutes while an employee was moving several boxes to the counter. We could hear a woman on the phone in the back, so I just assumed we were waiting on her to come to the front. Nope. We were waiting on the man to finish stacking boxes and decide we were worth waiting on. Ok. He waited on the woman in front of me. No problem. I stepped up to the counter with my amazon app open to a barcode ready to go and I told him I had returns. He said ok and then walked away from me to start doing something else. What? So I said that I would like to be waited on. And he became irritated and told me that he didn't care because he was working on something else. I told him that I didn't think that's how customer service works. And the woman behind me chimed in to tell him that was poor customer service. So he became angrier and told me that he didn't care if I thought that was poor customer service and that he didn't appreciate the way I was talking to him. What? Asking to be waited on and telling him it was rude to walk away from me was somehow quite insulting to him to the point that he decided to tell me that clearly there's something wrong with me and that's the reason that God made me the way I am. I have a visible disability with half of my left arm missing. So, my response was- wow, you're just going to be hateful. And the woman behind him was shocked but kindly spoke up to tell him that what he said to me was not ok. The man continued defending his stance and telling me how cursed I am until I put my phone on record. Then he spewed some more insults and went to the back where he told the woman that I was being rude to him and he refused to deal with me. She came out and I told her the story and she stood there in disbelief and the woman behind me told her what she witnessed. She said very little about the matter and at this point the first man went and got an older man and it becomes apparent that these people are probably his parents and this is their store. The young man stood behind trying to mutter threats and insults at me and after I told the story to older man his response was just "how could he say such a thing?" I told him that I would like to know that too. He finally managed to process my returns and I left. I never got an apology and acknowledgement that this behavior was regrettable or even very far from business as usual here. Less than one star wouldn't even come close to addressing the lack of civility or hate that seems to be at the heart of their business. I'm really just sharing so no one else who's different or just expects to be treated with a shred of humanity is caught off guard in here. read more

And they had huge bags of stuff that needed to be returned that they hadn't gotten out of their store already. Seems like it's poor managanent to me.... even if you got a lot of inventory to return you should never be denying taking stuff because you didn't send it out stuff from the day before. The owners are trying their best to give good service but they desperately need help on how to run an efficient shop. There is no reason why this place gets backed up the way it does. The guy literally let the line stack up to 13 people out the door because he spent 40 min on one customer custom packing each one her 15 boxes while getting distracted every 5 min on something else going on in the back, the PO Boxes/ the printer etc. Half of those in line are in-and-out people who just need their stuff scanned to drop off, but have no choice but to wait in line, and they can't be serviced because the guy spends forever on one customer. The lady responded, "we're just very busy today" and by "busy" she's basically saying, 1-2 customers get seen per hour. Do yourself a favor and don't wait in this line if you don't want to waste half your day. read more

Update on using their computer for the print job: Before using the computer was no charge. Printing UPS label was $1 per page and other print job was 25 cents per page. Now they charge $1 just for using their computer. Unfortunately, there is no sign/post about the new price/policy of the print service. I wish there is.... so I can decide if I want to use their facility. read more
