I frequent a lot of UPS Stores all around the country, so I feel I'm very qualified to leave this review. This was the absolute best service I've ever had at a UPS Store. They have a great staff that is very knowledgeable, and they work quickly and efficiently to help every customer. Not only did I return some packages, but I also got a passport photo taken, had documents printed, and shipped out additional documents -- everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Not sure why, but when you call to speak to an associate, nothing happens. Either the call is getting disconnected as it transfers, is being put on hold with no notification or music OR they're just hanging up. Regardless, you can't reach anyone by phone. Disappointing. The guys here are GREAT: true gentlemen. Huge appreciation for Lex + Tag especially who always go out of their way to always greeting me with a genuine smile (even when I come in a minute before UPS closes and staying open to painstakingly print out three different labels for the three items all going back to the same place - I didn't know we couldn't use the same one), to taping packages up for me with their packaging tape (USPS and other local mailbox shops make you buy a roll of tape), to showing me a wholesome good time. I've been there many times and everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable.. On this occasion i dealt with Steven for the third time in two days...the return lable did not come thru properly etc etc but Steven suggested he help me get a new return lable...which he did with ease... and saved me a lot of tome trying to navigate the amazon site. Made the mistake of coming here today, the day before New Years, to ship a single envelope of documents from Burbank to Canada. Simple enough? Think again. The 2 young guys behind the counter immediately said it would be at least $200! For an envelope. They didn't even check the address in the computer for a quote. He insisted at least $200 and maybe more. I said that I had just come from Fed Ex and they quoted $84. The kid wearing braces said you should try USPS. I guess they wanted to close early. This was at around 1:00PM. I called the UPS store on Alameda and the nice lady asked for the zip code and weight and quoted me $114. Both Fed Ex and the UPS Store on Alameda were professional and ran the address to give me a price and options. I will use the Alameda UPS Store going forward. These 2 employees should be spoken to for driving away business and giving false information. Very poor representation of UPS. read more

Wow, to be in a real professional kind efficient BOX place that can also handle shipping is a dream! (not to mention notarizing, packaging, laminating, printing...) Previously I was at Mail Boxes Etc at 827 Hollywood way in Burbank (see my review) for 32 years. Mark was great! But the new owner Dee can be insane and abusive. She seems to be bi-polar as some reviewers said she was great and others had my experience. (see the video in my review). It was a blessing in disguise to come to this place with sane competent people who never lose stuff! A package comes in, I get a text, when i show up there is a slip in my box and they are polite and my mail is always easily found. Its fabulous!! I think I had a bit of PTSD from the previous place. I've now had multiple return and outgoing packages vanish after dropping them off here, despite always getting a receipt and tracking number. Each time I follow up, the staff acts annoyed, blames "the system," and refuses to take responsibility or even file a proper claim. I've lost important shipments and spent hours on hold trying to get answers--only to be met with eye‑rolls and zero solutions in person. Do yourself a favor and never go to this location! read more

Incompetent Notary and Manager. From one actual notary to these clerks-learn your job. Go online, get the book, and study. Your customers should not have explain or teach you your job. I left in frustration and literally went around the corner to a competent notary who completed the job properly in under 15 minutes.
