Nice change of typical breakfast menu items with very creative twists. Avocado toast could use more avocado on it but it was still delicious. Friendly service and cozy setting

Squeeze In is one of the best breakfast spots in Reno, and I'm happy to see how much they've expanded over the years! Their menu is fun and expansive, you will never have trouble finding an option for everyone in your party. Each location has it's own decor and they are all fun and inviting for adults and kids. On this particular visit I came for a late breakfast/early lunch and it was pretty quiet. We were seated quickly and the staff was all very friendly and quick to serve us. The food was all delicious and it was a pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend Squeeze In for breakfast and lunch, I have never been disappointed on any of my visits and look forward to coming back again soon!

Someone saw this place so we went to check it out. Walking inside there's plenty of seating and people inside. Wait a sec and you'll be seated. The waitress is pretty nice....Good size food menu here...I ordered Prince's Pancake Plate with Strawberry Pancakes, Hash Browns, Bacon, Sausage & Orange Juice. Strawberry Pancakes were good...Bacon and Sausage were good....Hash Browns were good. Orange Juice was ok. If you're driving through or in the area swing by and check this place out.

Food is good, 5/5 for that. Price is too darn high, 3/5 in there. So yeah that's how it goes

    Avocado toast...seemingly VIP style!

Where to start bc it was all excellent, all deserving of five stars. The menu was amazing and you must try the pumpkin spice pancakes. Every bit of food we ordered was excellent flavor, quality and freshness. Very fun and laid back atmosphere. Pricing was on point. The service was some of the best we've had. It didn't hurt that my wife had a crush on our server, and he was super friendly and on point with refills, napkins, and checking in with us. Next time in Reno we will make a point to have breakfast here.

We went to breakfast to Squeeze In (a different location) and our experience was night and day different. I realized that they were incredibly busy but that is no excuse for poor service. Upon entering the establishment, we were not immediately greeted but in fact were not even acknowledged for nearly 5 minutes and then had to wait for an additional 15 minutes for our table. We ordered two different omelets; the Racy Tracy, and the Spanish Flay. The Racy Tracy which was featured on the Food Network! This classic California omelet has sautéed mushrooms, applewood smoked bacon and Jack cheese tucked into a blanket of fresh eggs, topped with avocado. The Spanish Flay is their tribute to Bobby Flay! It contained diced red bell peppers, potatoes, chorizo, smoked paprika, butter, Jack cheese and parsley-sprinkled eggs. Served with tomato pesto sauce, a side of spuds and toast. The tomato pesto sauce was amazing. I ordered the smaller Bloody Mary made with a local distilled vodka which was delicious. The very rushed waiter forgot our initial toast when he brought our order out, and then when I reminded him, what he brought did not match the the type of toast that I had ordered in the first place. He also never asked if we wanted additional toast as this place indicates that they offer bottomless toast on their menu. So, our experience at this particular location (Las Brias Blvd.) was very disappointing when compared to our experience at the other location [Foothill Road] (which we will only frequent in the future). The bathroom was interesting, to say the least as was the décor.

I had the Jack Johnson Pancakes in Truckee at that location yesterday, and they were absolutely amazing. So, the pancakes can be great. I ordered this morning for DoorDash from this location, and the honey sauce and bananas tasted spoiled. Also, where are the walnuts? Had a bad experience after a great one at a different location yesterday. Night and Day with food quality. I was so excited, but the quality control is lacking. I believe the bananas are too far gone and maybe the honey type is different but the smell was terrible when it arrived and then a taste confirmed it.

Jack Johnson Banana Walnut Pancakes, scrambled eggs and chorizo, and the Bacon Benne (yummy)!

OMG X10!! Loved this place, from the welcome to the fresh orange slice. This places has a friendly service with smiles and welcoming conversations. You can tell that this team promotes kindness and connections (gotta see this), because you can see it displayed everywhere. Our meal arrives quickly. I definitely ate with my eyes first...and then enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE I could fit in my stomach. Top-down: Jack Johnson pancakes...(to die-for) you could taste the butter, the walnuts, the soft and sauce-soaked banana in every bite. Next: complementary scrambled eggs and crunchy-savory chorizo (just enough kick to add to my plate. Finally, the Bacon B Thank you! Bacon Benne was DELICIOUS! Starting with crispy English muffin (not mushy, how others do it), THREE (not two) poached eggs, layered with tons of crispy bacon chips (not bits). The middle egg also rested on even MORE BACON. Then topped creamy hollandaise sauce and fresh avocado...oh mama Mia! Thank you, Squeeze In!

In Spring 2024, I won a gift card to Squeeze In. I held on to it until October. My friend and I decided to go to brunch after running early errands. It was the first visit ever, for both of us. We had heard so much about Squeeze In and looked forward to our orders! We were not disappointed! Staff was wonderful and food was amazing! The atmosphere was also very welcoming! We must have went at a good time because there was no waitlist. Plenty of seats available.

I saw it was on the yelp top 100 at one point..so I had wanted to check it out.. but it was very disappointing. A glass bottle of very warm water with the 2 smallest glasses with ice was brought to the table first. Ice is nice especially when its 100 degrees outside. But the glass was like a shot glass and with the water being so warm by the time we ordered our food all of the ice was melted which made that 1st glass of water cold which was a couple of gulp but then you're left with warm water. Food presentation was very beautiful. Taste of food wasn't anything you'd come back for. We ordered the mushroom raviolis.i expected a white sauce as it said creme sauce but it was a red sauce. It came with crispy potatoes which were very thinly sliced and fried potatoes and a citrus salad which was arugula and a very tasty dressing. There was maybe 5 raviolis not great..the red sauce is all you can taste some loose mushrooms around the raviolis in the sauce. The fried potatoes great in presentation ok in taste but I wish there was more potato in each bite. The arugula and dressing were the best thing I ate out of 4 dishes I tried. We also had the potato taquitos which I was looking forward to but it was very dense and the potato tasted like how a bad potato smells. Other than that it was very very bland. Nice crisp on the taquito. The gnocchi pasta dish was also no flavor. The sausage in it was good. 2nd favorite item was the slice of bread toasted on both sides. The bread was almost as big as the food on the plate. The 4th dish was the potstickers which also were just ok.

The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. I visited Madein for the first time after reading about them in Edible Reno-Tahoe magazine, and I'm…read moreso glad I finally stopped in! I went for lunch and tried their 2 for $20 special, choosing the chilled celery soup and the Alpine sandwich. Both were delicious and full of flavor. My only suggestion for next time would be to ask them not to toast the focaccia. It was a little too hard to bite into, but aside from that, the sandwich was excellent. I also had the chance to try one of their meatballs with their house-made marinara sauce, and it was delicious. One of the things I really enjoyed about Madein is that almost everything on the menu is made in-house, with some ingredients sourced fresh from local producers. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. The service was wonderful as well. My server, Seirra, was very friendly and attentive. The owner, Shawn, was kind enough to come by and say hello and even walked me through some of the dinner specials. I also had the pleasure of meeting his wife, Marsha, who works there and was equally warm and welcoming. Overall, I had a great first experience at Madein and would definitely come back to try more of the menu--especially dinner!

Thought it would be im-PASTA-ble to not like this spot, but unfortunately, this was a bit of a…read moreletdown for us. This cute little Italian restaurant was recommended to us by one of my BF's coworkers, and while we can see the potential, it'll be a hard pass for us until they improve their kitchen pacing and service. We made a last minute reservation for Friday 6 pm (with the table being held until 7:45) and were seated promptly upon arrival. However, it took almost one hour and a half to get any of our dishes, and tables next to us were having similar issues, with one party only receiving half of their dishes (the other half wasn't entered into the kitchen queue correctly). We had to continuously check in with our server ourselves regarding our food, which was quite frustrating, although we appreciated how she ended up comping part of our bill. While we understand that she was quite frazzled and the restaurant was understaffed, I still think the restaurant would benefit from better staff training, especially during busy dinner rush hour. The food itself was hit and miss, but I was quite impressed by several of their seasonal items, which included a salad and lobster risotto (recommended to us by our server), and I hope they can incorporate it into their menu permanently. The squid ink pasta and crab linguine (also seasonal), however, were quite flavorless (and this is coming from a low sodium girly). Cocktails were alright as well, and I would recommend ordering from their wine menu instead, which includes several excellent Italian and local wine options.
