My bestie took me to brunch after a hard week. Eden was our server, she was friendly and gave us our space to catch up. My pancakes were a bit burnt, but fortunately I ordered them Jack Johnson style otherwise they would have been inedible. I hate to waste food, so I didn't ask for new ones. These pancakes are my go-to for me here. Hubby frequently brought me to dine-in at the Squeeze in Sparks for these pancakes during my last pregnancy; I had to have them weekly. My girlfriend had their garden party, she loved her meal. Besides my burnt pancakes, everything else was fine. We are no strangers to the Squeeze in and have visited all locations with our without our kiddos and other halves. Squeeze In is one of the best breakfast spots in Reno, and I'm happy to see how much they've expanded over the years! Their menu is fun and expansive, you will never have trouble finding an option for everyone in your party. Each location has it's own decor and they are all fun and inviting for adults and kids. On this particular visit I came for a late breakfast/early lunch and it was pretty quiet. We were seated quickly and the staff was all very friendly and quick to serve us. The food was all delicious and it was a pleasant experience overall. Every bit of food we ordered was excellent flavor, quality and freshness. Very fun and laid back atmosphere. Pricing was on point. The service was some of the best we've had. It didn't hurt that my wife had a crush on our server, and he was super friendly and on point with refills, napkins, and checking in with us. We went to breakfast to Squeeze In (a different location) and our experience was night and day different. I realized that they were incredibly busy but that is no excuse for poor service. Upon entering the establishment, we were not immediately greeted but in fact were not even acknowledged for nearly 5 minutes and then had to wait for an additional 15 minutes for our table. We ordered two different omelets; the Racy Tracy, and the Spanish Flay. The Racy Tracy which was featured on the Food Network! This classic California omelet has sautéed mushrooms, applewood smoked bacon and Jack cheese tucked into a blanket of fresh eggs, topped with avocado. The Spanish Flay is their tribute to Bobby Flay! It contained diced red bell peppers, potatoes, chorizo, smoked paprika, butter, Jack cheese and parsley-sprinkled eggs. Served with tomato pesto sauce, a side of spuds and toast. The tomato pesto sauce was amazing. I ordered the smaller Bloody Mary made with a local distilled vodka which was delicious. The very rushed waiter forgot our initial toast when he brought our order out, and then when I reminded him, what he brought did not match the the type of toast that I had ordered in the first place. He also never asked if we wanted additional toast as this place indicates that they offer bottomless toast on their menu. So, our experience at this particular location (Las Brias Blvd.) was very disappointing when compared to our experience at the other location [Foothill Road] (which we will only frequent in the future). I called Squeeze In on the Saturday after my wedding and had a group of 17 slightly hungover family and friends. My phone call was answered by Charlotte. Immediately we were friends. She gave me three ideas on how to approach our large group since this place gets so busy on Saturday mornings. When our party arrived we found out that Charlotte was going to be our waitress. My husband was feeling stomach sick and Charlotte noticed and literally brought him Tums and Pepto. She was a gem, and the sweetest human. I had the Jack Johnson Pancakes in Truckee at that location yesterday, and they were absolutely amazing. So, the pancakes can be great. I ordered this morning for DoorDash from this location, and the honey sauce and bananas tasted spoiled. Also, where are the walnuts? Had a bad experience after a great one at a different location yesterday. Night and Day with food quality. I was so excited, but the quality control is lacking. One of my favorite local brunch shops! If you are trying to dine here during busy or peak times, I recommend using the Yelp Waitlist! It is easy to use, and you can track your place in line, so you're not wasting time just waiting. The brunch drink options are fantastic (but we always go with the mimosas), and the menu is HUGE! So many options for everyone! The chorizo Benedict is my go-to, perfect amount of flavor and spice with the potatoes. The restaurant can get really packed, and can feel a bit squished at your table, depending on where you're sitting. The Squeeze In should be nominated to Diners , Drive - In and Dives . The Squeeze has a funky look . Graffiti from wall to wall, and quirky table and chairs are the them throughout the restaurant. They have and unique and extensive menu . My wife and I both went for The Garth Breakfast Sandwich. A classic breakfast sandwich served with thick garlic cheese toast, layered with fluffy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar cheese and your choice of protein. The sandwich also includes mayo and is served with a side of spuds and sourdough toast . I had chunks of ham as my protein. My wife went naked (I mean without a protein). We both enjoyed this different kind of sandwich. Our server was great . He made us feel at home with good conversation and good service. This place is why cardiologists are in business. I like that Squeeze In is local, their staff is always so friendly, and the food is served quickly, even when it's busy. But this restaurant has always been on the higher priced end for mediocre food and now it's almost laughable how expensive it is. I know Reno is getting expensive as a whole, but for breakfast and two cups of coffee it cost us almost $60 with tax and tip. Again, with it being local, I wish I could support them more, but when everything, even cheese, is an extra cost it just adds up quickly and I can't justify spending as much as they want for their food when it's not on the exceptional or higher end side of the restaurants in town. Food was just okay. The side of bacon was so salty that neither myself or my wife could eat it. The soda was flat, so my wife subbed for coffee. And the rest of our food was satisfactory. read more

Was very impressed as he has to deal with a lot of fake service dogs and I am sure people fight saying they are working as the dogs barking and is not properly trained. It was at 7:30 so very quiet inside but was very cute. I ordered the triple decker Garth and it was good. The hash browns were decent just needed a little extra flavor but because the grill was cleaned I'm sure the other foods cause more flavor through out the day. We wanted brunch on a Saturday morning and I came on Yelp to see if they took reservations so I could call ahead. That's when I saw they use the Yelp Waitlist feature! I joined the waitlist which said it would be around 45 mins before our table would be ready and gave me a specific time to arrive to the restaurant to check in. We got to spend that wait time at home then showed up to Squeeze In at the time listed. We were then seated within 5 mins! Such a great feature through Yelp that I was glad to see this spot utilizing. Despite how busy they were, our service was great! Our server, Tre, was quick to take our order and checked in on us frequently. I was impressed at the service during a busy Saturday morning brunch. The menu has a lot of options that are well-priced for how much food you get--the omelettes are made with 4 eggs and the benedicts come with 3 poached eggs! I got the traditional benedict and couldn't finish it all. It was nice having 3 poached eggs, there was plenty to go with each bite of the benny. Everyone in our group thought the food was delicious! They have a lot of unique items on the menu, both sweet and savory. There's also a ton of mimosa flavors, I didn't get one today but will next time. The seating is pretty close together because the main dining room is small. The table felt a bit tight for 4 people but we were fine. The inside walls are bright and filled with eclectic decorations and hand-written notes in sharpie. They have a great dog friendly patio in the warmer months. 12.21.23: Today I went in to collect my birthday freebie before it expired. I've been coming to this location since it opened many years ago. Every year since, I've always redeemed my birthday coupon of $10 during my birthday month. Definitely sign up, it's worth it and the other coupons they give you throughout the year. I ordered a traditional Eggs Benedict, a side pancake, and a cup of black coffee. My food arrived quickly, no complaints there! Everything tasted pretty good and I suggest adding cheese to your crispy potatoes. Heads up, it is an extra charge. I have been patronizing this location for at least 10 years for a multitude of reasons. 1-Location Location Location: This location is easily accessible from any where in North-ish Reno. 2-Fun: The inside is so fun! From the decor, to the ability to write on the walls and leave your mark, and the simplified menu, it's great. 3-Menu choices: I feel like the menu use to be so overwhelming that trying to narrow down what to eat took ages. But it seems over the years they've parred down what the cooks are concocting. 4-Staff: Staff matches the decor in that they've always been bubbly and seem like they truly love their jobs. 5-Quality of food: Never once have I had a bad meal, or drink. The alcohol drinks are made well, portion of alcohol to mixer has been wonderful. Some places give you a drop of alcohol to a full glass of mixer, but not here. My mimosa this past Saturday was VERY strong and I was unable to finish it. I felt bad about it, but it was certainly worth the money. 10/10 recommend coming here. read more

The service is ok, might have to ask twice but in general good. OJ is not fresh squeezed. The main reason for 5 stars is the Jack Johnson Banana Walnut Pancakes... The best, just get some! The pancakes have finely chopped walnuts. The sliced banana are cooked just enough to be soft on the outside but still solid. The banana sauce is really good, plenty for the 2 pancakes. I also tried the Huevos Montana Aka Huevos Rancheros (4 Stars). I add ground chorizo, they slipped it in with the black beans, then layer the eggs and rest. I walk in for a mobile order and while I'm waiting for a host to come greet me ; a worker approaches a gentleman sitting at the table next to the hostess desk. She says " Next time I need you to sit outside instead of taking up one of our tables." and then storms off immediately. The restaurant had only about 3-4 tables being used with nobody waiting to be seated. The gentleman and I looked at each other with a confused look on our face. She walks back with a bag of food for to go orders and sets it on the table by the front door. She asks the man " You said you've been waiting for 20 minutes. Do you need some coffee?" The man says "No I'm good. " She looks at me and then proceeds to the back of the restaurant. A lot of attitude to the man who was just waiting for his food. I didn't get a Hi, Hello,or have you been helped yet? I love this restaurant and the food is delicious. That was a tough watch though. It is mind blowing that I have not yet reviewed one of my favorite breakfast spots in Reno! Our most recent visit reminded me how much I love Squeeze In and all the people here. First off - the food is just downright freaking delicious. Some of my favorites - The Racy Tracy Omelette (mushrooms + bacon + avocado = the PERFECT breakfast combo!), Eric's Breakfast Burrito, the Banana Walnut Pancakes (new fave - buttery and banana-y and just so cravable), and of course the benedicts. Everything is so fresh and the portions are HUGE. The prices are so fair because you're either gonna leave completely stuffed or overloaded with to-go boxes. The other thing I really love is that they do pitchers of mimosas here! And you can do a pitcher of any one of their specialty mimosas, like blueberry lemonade or sea breeze. The flavors are all unique and very delicious. One pitcher is definitely plenty for two people and I think you end up getting a free mimosa that way too. So it's a great deal! My daughter loves the hot chocolate here - they load it up with whipped cream and sprinkles, a proper cuppa hot cocoa. This place gets so busy on the weekends, but you can hop on the waitlist through the Yelp app to save yourself a little time. The staff is always hustling but always SO kind and warm. The service is reason alone to visit! Love all the cool memorabilia and signatures on the walls too, it gives you plenty to look at and discover. Squeeze In is a Northern Nevada staple.
