Karen R Great omelette. Really is the best on the planet! Super service and terrific atmosphere. Been coming to the Squeeze for over 30 years! Liked: Food, Service, Atmosphere, Portions, Decor read more

Price is the reason it is 3 stars! the food is good, the service is good, but value to price is not there, breakfast for 2 $30.00 plus tip. That does not have the value to me. read more

finally had a chance to try this extension of the famous eatery from Truckee, where I was a regular back in the day... I was skeptical about this business being able to re-create itself, as I didn't think it could be done, as the original establishment in Truckee is a collaboration of many years of amazing recipes and decor. But I was very happily mistaken! When I walked in the door I knew right away that once again perfection was the mark! I was seated immediately by a sweet, perky college student. As I looked over the menu I found my favorite omelette and ordered. Just like the original restaurant, my food arrived hot and in a timely manner, and it was just as delicious as I remembered! As I ate I gazed around and enjoyed the art and ambiance that is cozy and comforting. I was a happy camper. I will make it here once a week..... read more

Cold eggs....mmmmmmmmmmm...not! They screwed up our order and prepared the wrong omelet for my wife, odd considering it was the house specialty the Racy Tracy. Then the waitress puts my food on the table and leaves, as if I'm going to sit there and eat while my wife waits for her food. By the time the new omelet was cooked and served my food was ice cold. EXPENSIVE COLD FOOD AND POOR SERVICE!!! read more

We had a group of 9 on a Sunday morning, most who were from out of town. When we got there the hostess estimated a 30-35 minute wait. Understandable so, the food is delicious and it was Sunday morning after all! We waited about 50-60 minutes before checking back in. They said there was a "miscommunication" and gave our table away to another family. They promised to seat us soon. While waiting, we saw many empty tables that could have been pushed together to accommodate us, instead they were given away to smaller groups who had just gotten there. About 30 minutes later we finally got seated. I don't think I'll be bringing a big group back. read more

We love having breakfast always fresh and tasty and my little Charlie love, love, loves the chocolate bacon :)

OMG 1st time here and let me tell you this place is very good. I had the Spanish Flay with chorizo and it was the BOMB!!!! one more thing try the Pancakes to die for!!!!!!! read more

Great food and service, but a little pricey for Reno. $14.25 for an omelete, and $3.29 for coffee seems a little high, when compared to Tampa, where I'm from. read more

Delightful breakfast/lunch spot in Truckee. Great wait staff, very comprehensive menu (if you can't find something that suits you, you just ain't trying) & very good coffee. I had the biscuits & gravy & can't recommend them highly enough. Fluffy tall biscuits covered with a lovely smooth sausage gravy. Topped with eggs, it lasted me most of the day. Don't miss it if you're in Truckee! read more

Decided to check this place out after all the great reviews. I was very disappointed by the service, prices and the quality of food received. There is a lot of improvement to be had here. read more

FREAKIN' AMAZING FOOD AND STAFF!! I am from out of town and work in the entertainment Business so I have eaten at alot of all the fancy places that LA has to offer but when I visited the Reno location of the Squeeze, it holds up to it's reputation that was originally started in Truckee, which I have been too when heading over the 80 going back to LA. I am amazed at some of the people who have posted negative comments here, unbelievable as they either are just plain blind or are one of those who just have nothing better to say about anything. I challenge anyone to visit this place and if you seriously don't have a great dining experience along with some of the best staff and service, then there's no dining experience that will satisfy you. What a charming place, friendliest staff and great food. Yeah, there's a wait, but with all good dining establishments, that's the case. If you don't want the wait, go get a breakfast burrito at taco bell or something. Everything GOOD eatery will have with it lots of people wanting to experience the place too. So, don't come if you don't have your best attitude toss on as this place is full of positive energy. I also must comment the owner for taking the time to respond to the ones who wrote the negative reviews. I wonder if they called her or went back to give it another try. Where's those follow up comments from them? So in closing, I recommend the Squeeze in, both location to the entire universe. Oh and by the way the French Dip is mouth watering....can't wait to get back up there. Hey can you guys fedex me one? LOL read more

I went to Squeeze In for Father's Day and it was amazing! The service was speedy and wonderful and the staff was VERY friendly. The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of breakfasts and lunches. Anything you could possibly want was on this menu! My parents and I were delightfully happy with our choices and the food was absolutely delicious! It was my first time to this restaurant, and definitely will be one of MANY visits here! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who want great service and amazingly delicious food! read more

The Squeeze In is always good. Huge portions and really interesting omelette. A great stop on your way home.

First I went there for Chicken Fried Steak (CFS) breakfast, I was super hungry, and this sounded perfect to fill my Dragonic appetite. I arrived, didn't need to look at a menu, said I was ready to ordered, ordered, and was quickly told WE DON'T HAVE CFS. I was blown away, never heard of a breakfast joint that didn't do it, and I could have sworn one of my FB friends had a pick, with a giant one on their plate. So I decided to order their most popular omelet which had mushrooms, bacon, avocado, and cheese. I got my food pretty fast as it wasn't busy, and the meal is served on a small plate, so small, that the English muffin, I ordered, was on top on my omelet. The potatoes were above average, the omelet was already described perfectly, as basically eggs cooked, in an omelet pan, then everything married together after being cooked separately. The ingredients were good, bacon was crisp, but at $13.50, I expect to be WOW'd by the taste and SIZE of the food. Now onto the decor, it's seems like it would appeal to families as it's a hodge podge of tables and chairs, most of the tables are rounded. The chair I sat in was like a church basement folding chair. I didn't realize how bad the chair was until I stood up to use the facilities and the I felt like a Giant rising. I then realize how uncomfortable the chair was, and my derriere actually hurt after the 1/2 hour + I was there. Service was decent, but it just feels odd in there. I see through the illusions and it's really a cheap made place, they sell it as giving it charm, but I guarantee it was to offer the lowest cost way to charge you PREMIUM Aristocratic prices (not organic) for food that doesn't WOW enough to justify a return visit. I don't see myself going back there. Out the door and not ordering any drinks and or add-ons it was $17+ = $13.50 omelet that definitely wasn't huge, $1 tax, $2.5 tip. That's too much money, I could have had 2 Indian Buffets and or AYCE sushi for that price. Sorry, but I am passing on Squeeze In! read more

Average, do not know what the hype is. The omelette's was on the dry side and I do not understand why the Food Network even did a special on them. The portions were good but I would not return. The writing every where made the place look dirty and unkempt in a grafetti ridden place. She even lost against Bobby Flay. Even when Bobby Flay tasted her omellete he just said the texture is good, that's it, not about the filling, just the texture. Betty's Oceanside makes creamy eggs, not dry eggs. The service is good. read more

Have to give the Squeeze 5 stars only because it's the best breakfast in Reno and Truckee! Maybe even Nevada and Cali. Sure every place has it's down side but really the only thing we come up with is waiting too long and paper cups? Come on now! The whole " waiting too long" cannot be that big of an issue if your going to one of the best breakfast places in town on a Sunday! Don't we want it to be busy? The place isn't that small so we can't blame the owners for that... the only thing i can come up with is that it's busy because it's good! To me that's worth the wait. As for the "paper cup" issue, you can see how much they are involved in making costumers happy by instantly getting rid of them and the water pitchers! ..Which might of been a good idea but not a reason to never eat there again. You might think people are exaggerating when they say they LOVE the Squeeze but most the time it probably is true. Why wouldn't they..it's not just some restaurant that serves amazing food, the staff are so involved and happy it makes you feel like home! The atmosphere is out of this world ( you can write on the wall! ) another thing someone complained about???? WOW! maybe they don't want to paint over the names and memories of the people that already have written or drawn on the wall? I don't know but I do know is I couldn't find a place so i told a hostess and she told the "owner" Shila and she moved a picture to a different spot so I could put my name down. She didn't have to that's the beauty of it! Someone always greets me and makes sure I'm taken care of...I could name a few places that let me stand at the door for 15 mins. Not Squeeze.. my drinks are always full and my stay is always confy. Also! I can bring my dog to the outdoor seating! not only that they bring water with out me having to even ask. they also offer dog food... so cute. I have so much to say but really you have to at least eat at Squeeze In once if you don't want it to be overwhelmingly busy go on a week day ..it's really that easy!!! my fav's: Breakfast... Zwiefle? peanut butter banana omelet. Delicious! Lunch.... mmmmm... Egg salad but on the roll. So perfect also have the best taco salad ever cobb isn't bad either! read more

Food was ok. But mostly the place was not cleaned, the chairs have garbage on them, flies were all over the Restaurants, the knife was used by other guest. Service was bad, my coffee was cold when I got the food and no one offer to top it. I will not go back again read more

Showed up at Squeeze In after Balloon Races with 20 people. While we waited for our table the waitstaff brought out a tray full of coffee mugs. Our out-of-town guests were impressed. Breakfast was excellent, as always, and the waitstaff were helpful and courteous, as always. Keep up the great work! read more

Food was very tasty and served in large portions !! I liked the interiors of the restaurant. Very attentive staff! Unlimited coffee . Perfect Brunch place read more

Your so called manager Amanda is a poor excuse of a person, has no sense of really customer service and seems to annoy other customers and employees. Definitely will not go back until they change owners or management read more

Nothing fresh here!!!! Squeeze In and preprocessed food go great together!! In fact if you would like to get the Squeeze in "Experience" go to the Walmart canned food isle. There you can experience customer service and Ingredients that are streamline to what you will experience at Squeeze in. Save your taste buds from the food, your wallet from the price and your sanity from getting multiple phone calls from the owner, Misty. read more

Great breakfasts and hamburgers and good, friendly service. The only downside is the wait for brunch on the weekends. It is on Yelp "Check-in", but I haven't tested that yet on a weekend. read more

Great food!!! Always pretty busy, which tells ya it's definitely tasty stuff. Prices could be a tad lower undoubtably though.

ate here about a month ago when I visited town for the football game. my friend had recommended it, so we went for brunch on Sunday. it was so good! the service was impeccable and so was their food! the entire place was decorated cutely and was kept clean. the prices were average (not too expensive, but not dirt cheap). I would love to go back for round 2! read more

what a fun place and they have toy baskets to keep the kids happy...how thoughtful. i usually don't eat pancakes, but these were great...not too thick and the ends were crispy. i put this one on my "do again" list. with 63 different omelets my husband will have to come 63 times to try them all. i loved the part where all of the wait staff helps all of the tables and will serve whatever food is served up first...food is always nice and hot. read more

Great place to get a quality breakfast and great service! The ingredients are very fresh and plentiful. We ordered the #24 - which had a ton of meat that wasn't overly greasy, but flavorful. And off the 'Hop' menu (heart healthy option) the egg white scramble with lots of veggies- the name escapes me, but tasty non the less! Try it! read more

Hands Down Favorite! Best breakfast place I have ever eaten at! Love the atmosphere and the kind servers and cooks! The food is awesome and they definitely pack your plates so you have something to go home with. Recommend it to any breakfast lover. :) read more

Prices are WAY to high, $14.50 for an omelet? Really? Oh and if you want potatoes with your pancakes and eggs be ready to pay an extra $2.50! Orange juice is from condensed not fresh. Highly disappointed. read more

Squeeze in is a place that my girlfriend and I really enjoy having breakfast at sporadically. The menu has a vast variety of dining options, so if you're in the mood you can always try something different. Though even with the all the choices we do have our favorites, The Aikaine omelet for me and either the huevos Montana or the stuffed french toast covered in fruit for her, all of which are steller. and The staff is generally upbeat and friendly, and in my time there i have never seen the bottom of my coffee cup. The price may be a little higher then say a Denny's or the like, but for a couple bucks more you get a much better meal that is of a way higher quality all while supporting a small semi-locally (Truckee) owned business. read more

The food and service were as good as advertised. We did our own Throwdown and the Racy Tracy beats the Spanish Flay in our book. Personally, I view potatoes as a side dish rather than an omelet ingredient so that is why I pick the Racy Tracy. Like the other reviewers, I still have a hard time justifying $12-$13 for an omelet though. But I can't blame them for charging those prices because the place was full at 10AM on a Monday morning. Maybe they were all dumb tourists like me. If I were a local, I'm sure I could find an omelet of equal quality without the premium price. read more

Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff! It can take some time to get a seat but it is worth it. This place is a local favorite. One of the top 2 places for breakfast in town, in my opinion. They also have a rewards program that gets you excellent deals for birthdays, anniversary's and more. Stop by and 'squeeze in' (not a big place but always busy, and that speaks volumes to me). read more

Great food with a VERY fun hip atmosphere. There were 4 of us for breakfast and all of our food came out very tasty and delish!!! The Spanish Flay is the bomb. Heidi gave us great service and everyone was sooooo nice. Go try it you won't be sorry.. read more

Distinctly average service and the eggs Benedict tasted like old grease. Wouldn't visit again.

We go about twice a month for breakfast. We always get different menu items, and have never been disappointed. The portions are pretty big so we always have some to take home. Theres a friendly staff who is quick to refill drinks. There are some strange things on the menu, but we've found that their strange menu is just as tasty. A fun, tasty, and filling breakfast joint. We will be back and recommend it. read more
