Love this place is open , friendly and the food is more then you pay for.. Also love the fried pickles first time ever had them...

The Sarge with the pastrami was good. It probably would have been better with the marinara sauce instead of the gravy. The mushrooms topper was good. The Wife got the Dirty Dick and "it wasn't bad". She did say I would probably like it because it has bacon, ham and cheese. Yum The staff is VERY friendly. We got $5 off from when we signed up even though we didn't have the coupon with us today. Very nice. We like this place alot and will definitely come back. read more

This was a very good little place! The food was amazing and was waaaaay better than expected. It took a little while to get it out but the surroundings were very nice. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. read more

Amazing good service, nice wholesome food, great presentation, but bland. I appreciate the lack of unhealthy stuff in my omelette, but just a slight sprinkle off salt and pepper would do wonders. read more

Just picked this restaurant out on a whim because it was one of the few offering dine-in. Incredible food and fast extremely friendly service. Perfection! read more

I was stoked to try this place but my omlette came with a Puddle of grease and it was under cooked. The bowl of fruit was good. Over priced for the quality read more

Cool atmosphere, great customer service, and the food was really good! Definitely a new spot for my husband and I.

This was my first visit. I had the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Veggie benny with optional canadian bacon and three perfectly poached eggs.It had cream cheese, grilled tomato, spinach. The potatoes were fabulous. I opted for added grilled onions and cheese. Even the milk was perfect.......gold, big glass, and served at the right time. It often is forgotten or comes late in the meal. As you can tell it's a big deal to me.:) I like the outside, shady seating with good music. The service was just right. The server gave us plenty of time to look at the huge menu. I will be back. It's a new favorite. I can't wait to see if I continue to be this pleased. read more

I've been here twice now and both times I've been coaxed into venturing outside my comfort zone as far as food goes. I mean, cream cheese on an omelette? Weird, but it works! It's got an amazing quaint feel that I love and the artwork on the walls and ceiling makes it an interesting experience. The food is hot and delicious, the waitstaff is friendly, and there is hardly ever a wait if you go later in the morning for a late breakfast/brunch. I'll definitely be coming back over and over again! read more

Best omelette I've had in the area . This place delivers! They don't skimp on ingredients and the quality of the ingredients is top notch. Hubby had the most expensive omelette on their menu , the king crab and it was a hit . Big Chunks of meaty crab covered by a perfectly cooked omelette, no brown spots and the omelette stayed fluffy till the last bite . Potato's were twice cooked and had a wonderful crispy crust . I had the shrimp omelette . The shrimp were excellent but the zucchini in my omelette and the avocado were under seasoned. Shrimp can be pretty bland and seasoning is essential, so while all the ingredients were cooked well, I would like the entire dish to have more seasoning and flavor (hence the lost star) . Service was excellent and quick and considering the line was out the door, and the fact that there was still great service is quite unique to Modesto! Usually service in this area goes to hell when there is a rush , yet staff kept their cool and knewhow to handle it, so props to training and a good restaurant manager. read more

Very nice place the environment is very welcoming, only downside is that it's pretty small for the amount of traffic it gets so it makes it a little crowded especially when your waiting for a table, but aside from that the waiters are very nice and the food is amazing, I recommend getting the Spanish guy omelette read more

Very decent had a bloody Mary and the crab omelette. Service was decent prices little high but overall not to bad. Probably won't go back

I will never return to an establishment that can treat people so poorly as to ask people to change the seats after they've already began to eat their meal. It is rude and in poor service. It's happened to 3 people that I know of. And when it happens to you it makes you feel little and unimportant. read more

Great food, great service, massive portions. Love the decor and ambiance of this place.

super funky atmosphere with delicious home cooked diner style food. Great coffee and great outdoor dining area. New fave brunch spot!

This is my favorite go-to place to eat a nice breakfast or lunch. I loved the food. The owner also rang us up and was the sweetest. Overall great experience! read more

Their pictures are great representation of their food. There food is tasty. The kitchen is quick. Got our food not long after we ordered. But there serving and wait staff isn't very good. We waited to be seated the girl skipped us and sat the people who had just walked in. We waited for beverages while the girl sat 4 more tables. I think they just need better communication between the employees. It seem to only have one person taking orders. Which made it longer for our order to be taken. Again I think if there was better communication between the people working there it would be ran better. It's a small place cute and different. Clean too. read more

Good food. Portions are big. Always busy. Service is good and fast. Glad we have a new place to eat on this side of town, especially breakfast as there aren't many places. Pancakes are delicious. read more

I wanted to love this place- unfortunately it was average at best. I ordered the Racy Tracy omelette with potatoes which seems to be the most popular item on their menu. When it arrived everything on my plate was pretty lukewarm and so under seasoned! The potatoes tasted bland and like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp and cooked in old oil. I had a couple of French fries thrown in there too. The flavor of the omelette was disappointing. The lack of seasoning didn't conjoin the dish. Basically I was just tasting individual flavors at a time. Bacon wasn't crispy either. The saving grace to this experience was the service which was stellar and the avocado. read more

The atmosphere is cool and everyone that works there was friendly and provided great service. I had French toast with cream cheese in side and I was not fond of it. My husband had an omelette that was called Racy Tracy on the menu he was very pleased was his plate. I will be going back to try something else. You must go and give it a try read more

This place was so good!! Their burgers are delicious! Love the cheese!! Great prices.

Customer Service is always great - they're a ton of fun and super accommodating. It's a pricey breakfast/lunch but you get a ton of food and it's delicious! read more

The newest theme restaurant in Modesto, this one going for the 70's rather than the old and overdone 50's theme. Lots of interesting choices for breakfast on the huge menu. The food came fast and the service was friendly and welcoming. The meal was really good. I had a pizza omelet with a side of pizza sauce, called tomato pesto, hashbrowns and toast. Prices here are a little higher than the local competition, but the quality and recipes show why. Also, they serve huge portions, a definite plus. The rub here is that the price of add-ons seems too high. I switched my toast for a plain biscuit... I was charged an extra $1.49, no big deal, but as I said, their prices are already on the high side. The next rub was the coffee. A restaurant serving this quality of food should have coffee to equal... at $3.29, they are charging a premium price already. Overall, a nice clean restaurant serving very good breakfast and lunch in an area that needed a good restaurant. I'll be back. read more

Ate breakfast here. It was great. Staff was awesome. Everyone was nice. Pretty packed so expect to wait. Quality of food was good, portions are large. Will be going back. read more

It is a small place, so the wait was expected. They "forgot" my grandsons order and he waited until long after the rest of our party had been served to get his food. My tuna melt was unacceptable. The bread was stale and the too bread was toasted while the bottom bread was not toasted at all. Son in law ordered nachos, DRY as a bone refried beans, with chips piled on top. He said it was the worst nachos he has had. Daughter had the Shroom. Bread was stale. Son had a salad and the lettuce was not fresh. We will not be returning. Nothing special here folks. read more

Today was my first time at the Squeeze In. It was very cold at our seats. We ordered. It took almost 20 mins to get the food. Me breakfast and my daughter a chkn sandwich with fries. Almost 15 bucks a plate! Food was awful. My hashbrowns were hard over cooked my breakfast sandwich dry no flavor. My daughters sandwich small on a hamburger bun. I was just gonna pay the 29 bucks and that's with ordering water to drink and then never come back. The gal up front saw how much we left on our plates. She said the meal was on her. I was glad. Because she tried to fix it I will give it one more try but probably for salad. read more

Truly a fun place to eat breakfast or lunch. It's small so there might be a wait, but it is worth it! Not a fan of the little green black-eyed alien creatures staring at me from the wall and throughout the menu, but the food is yummy. I had the featured omelet. Lots of bacon, mushrooms, cheese and avocado with a side of fruit.. All ingredients were tasty, super fresh, and generous portions. They were great about accommodating my food sensitivities and gladly made substitutes for me. That is a huge plus! Friend had Eggs Benedict and told me they were absolutely wonderful. Service was very good and even though they were busy we got served promptly. I will definitely go back, despite the funky green aliens (lol), and highly recommend it. read more

The Squeeze In has everything I like in a restaurant: fun atmosphere, friendly staff, good music, and best of all - terrific food! I brought weekend guests here on a Saturday, and we all agreed we had to return on Sunday to try another yummy breakfast item. Laurie was our server and was outstanding. Looking forward to my next delicious experience here! read more

Updated review- this is my second time here and it's still a mess. I last attempted to come here about a year and two months ago and never got seated after waiting almost 1 he & 40 mins. Someone commented an apology the last review and asked that I try it again because they are still working on organizing things, but like I said it's been two years and nothing has changed. I still haven't had a chance to even smell their food let alone eat it. My parents are visiting and wanted to try something new so I suggested we go here like an idiot. It takes us almost 30 mins to get there and we waited there about 40 mins and it only got more and more packed and people were leaving left and right because the wait was too long and it was crowded and messy. Half the time there wasn't a host at the stand and I noticed most people sitting were sitting for a very long time w/o food. So I'm not sure if the kitchen staff is so backed up that they can't get food out. I'm really not sure but all I do know is be prepared to wait at least 1 hour to be seated for 2 ppl, if your party has more people then don't bother because you will spend your whole day there. Additionally I got a chance to take a look at the menu and be prepared to spend a pretty penny, plates cost $15-$30 which is kind of outrageous if you ask me. I can go to black bear and get the same plate for half the price and better customer service. I'm not sure I'll ever give this place a third try cuz it's just too far and too messy of a place. I'm thoroughly disappointed by this place and will make it a point to people to not even bother giving this place a try. read more

Fantastic service with amazing food to match. So glad they made it to Modesto. Go early as they get backed up almost every day.

I don't like to post negative comments about a business....but after our visit today we were clearly disappointed! Today was our first time to this restaurant, and we had breakfast. When we walked in a young girl (who ended up being our server) yelled " hi guys" where do you want to sit! Well... from then on out she referred to us "as guys" every time she spoke to us ( I quit counting the guys term after about 8 times! This is rude to me because I am clearly a woman and don't like to be constantly addressed as "guys" nor does my husband! How hard is it for an owner/ manager to train servers to address customers respectfully! No matter the size or casual verses upscale. It wasn't busy so we had a choice of tables. We studied the menu and were totally surprised at the high prices. We both decided on an omelette and ordered. When my omelette arrived most of everything that should have been inside was spilled outside and I opened up the omelette to push it back in and was astonished to count ....oh maybe 6 little pieces of mushrooms. I was the DRIEST omelette I have ever had..... and no I did not order any of the extra sauces. Really, when do you have to drown an omelette with sauce for it to be good. We will not be back, the prices are exorbitant for the meals, $30 for two unremarkable omelettes and no beverages! We have had much much better food and service for half the price. read more

It was my first time here and I got to say this was a great 1st experience here. We had a party for 4 (me, my mom, and the babies which are 4 and 2) Once we go in we were greeted with a warm welcome. It was a bit busy and as a server I know it will be awhile wait. But that didn't happen we had are drink come first which I got to say that was the best coffee I've ever had! They got our order and I wanna say it only took 10-15 min which was really fast. I had the gruth sandwich w/ turkey breast and onion and chewa on the hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were crispy and cook perfectly. The Sandwich had fresh melted cheadder cheese and mayo. The bread was perfect and well balanced with all the flavors. My mo also enjoyed her food. I forgot what she got but it had sour cream on top of it with scramble eggs w/cheese, potatoes, and onions w/tomatoes on the side( she picked the potatoes out cuz she on the keto diet) the kids also enjoyed there meal. My mom said the bacon was perfect and cooked how she liked it which in my mind was a win. Service was good she was pretty busy which I understand so it wasn't a big deal. If I had more cash on me I would of gave her a bigger tip for helping us out. I would really recommend this spot. Will be back with the whole family read more

The waitress was so nice and was even willing to go to the store next door to get the juice they were out of for my mimosa however, the eggs Benedict was very mediocre. My eggs were not poached they were hard boiled and literally one of my eggs still had half the shell on it. read more

We live right down the street so we had to try this place. We loved it! The omelette was amazing! A little packed but the place is small so that's ok. We ate outside and it was lovely.
