If you're looking for a hearty breakfast before hitting the road, this is definitely the place to stop! They're known for their omelettes, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. My husband and I ordered the Racy Tracy and the Hangover omelettes, and both were packed with flavor and generously portioned. Everything was cooked perfectly, and we left completely satisfied. Although it wasn't a drinking kind of morning for me, I couldn't help but notice how incredible their drink menu looked. There were so many creative breakfast cocktails that I'll have to come back and try another time. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. It was the perfect meal to fuel us up before our drive back to Las Vegas.

I absolutely love the food. The entire vibe of the restaurant is so kind and uplifting, and the service is phenomenal. Also, who knew graffiti could be so fun. Letting kids "make their mark" is so kind of them. Also, my drawing below.

Stopped in while visiting Carson City and the food was great. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

We decided to sit outside the on a beautiful morning in Carson City, Amy was our server and she was just helping out for the 4th of July weekend. We decided to get a pitcher of mimosas for $35 the pink grapefruit is my favorite. If you're going to have two each it's a better deal. 5 for the price of 4. All the breakfast plates are huge so I always get the kids Pancake, 1 scrambled egg and piece a of bacon. It's nice they let me go that even though I'm not under 10. My husband on the other hand had the Chicken Fried Steak which was nice and flakey it is the best way I can describe it! The food came out timely not along wait which was nice since we had another commitment . It was about an hour we were there. I know it was a hot day outside, but the food could have been a little hotter. Thank you for great service! See you next time.

I love that Squeeze In offers healthy options. The superfood scramble was really delicious. I got it without the broccoli-just can't handle broccoli with eggs! The fresh fruit contained a great selection. My companion ordered the Southwest bowl and loved it. Service was great-they kept the coffee coming constantly! I love the downtown location and think this is one of the most charming settings along with a darling patio. Would just love if they offered more gluten free options like pancakes and bread.

A birthday pancake complete with sprinkles, whipped cream and smiles!

Always a favorite breakfast restaurant, we enjoy the casual upbeat atmosphere, excellent food - including several really good vegan options - and exceptional service!

Happy Birthday Gayle!

A Solid 4 Star Breakfast Experience in Downtown Carson City I took Gayle here today for her Birthday Breakfast, starting with a celebratory Bloody Mary. My toast to her long and happy life was a glass of OJ. Gayle remembers visiting the Truckee branch, which might have been the first, as she remembers "squeezing in" to a very tight breakfast spot. Looking at their website, this is now a modest regional chain, with restaurants in Truckee, Modesto (?), Reno, Fernley, Las Vegas, and Carson City. This downtown location has plenty of room, a cool casual eclectic vibe, and good parking options (within a few blocks), considering the small semi-residential size of Downtown Carson City. Service was prompt and friendly, and I enjoyed the Periodic Table/Coffee apron motif that our wait person was wearing. Gayle and I stayed on the breakfast side of the Brunch menu and chose the Popeye Omelet (with a side of Bacon) and the Pancake Breakfast respectively, plus coffee all around. It was all good and in fairly generous portions. Gayle didn't finish her omelet and it is now home for later consumption. The only nit was that I ordered my eggs poached and they were served over easy. I didn't bring it up to the wait person as I like my eggs that way too. We had also heard that this place gets busy in the morning, but at our 9 AM arrival, we had a wide choice of seating options.

Outside of the coffee carafe dropping by my foot, the food was delicious I love the Bloody Mary and the coffee was nice aroma for the senses.

Service was great, friendly and attentive. The space was large and clean, with nice decor. The wall had signatures on it but I didn't get a chance to ask why. Not too loud, even given the openness of the dining area, which was nice and made it so conversation was easy. The Eric's Breakfast Burrito was really good! The red salsa put it over the top! Loved the avocado on it. I asked for the bacon to be on the side and super crispy, which they accommodated. It came with a delicious, fresh, and chunky pico de gallo. Skillet potatoes accompanied the burrito, and they were cooked just right. Overall, a very tasty and satisfying meal. Parking can be a challenge, but it's such a quaint area that walking a bit near other shops wasn't a problem. There is a handicap parking spot near the entrance.

We stopped by here last weekend for a quick bite to eat. We were sat immediately - which if you have ever been to a Squeeze In is strange. We ordered the burrito and manly morris meal. The potatoes on both meals were cold and soggy. The biscuits and gravy were vastly underseasoned. The burrito, eggs, and sausage were completely fine for a diner. The servers were very kind and even helped with adding my birthday points back to the order. The restaurant was clean and quick, which is what we wanted when we stopped!

I'd give this place a 3.5. Decided to try this place for lunch since I've read some decent reviews…read moreon this place for their pastries. The bakery dining area is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating, both in the front and back of store. We got there around noon-ish and all of their breakfast pastries, like croissants, muffins, and danishes were pretty much gone (understandable), so I looked at their dessert-y pastry display and they had a variety of tarts, cup desserts, cupcakes, cake slices, eclairs, etc. Their TIRAMISU TART caught my eye because I love tiramisu and to have it in tart form was intriguing. I also got a CANNOLI because I read it was one the best in a review I read. I also gave the BONDI sandwich a try on multigrain bread. So, the tiramisu tart was disappointing. It is quite large, maybe a 4.5-5" tart. What I was expecting were the usual components of a traditional tiramisu (mascarpone, zabaglione, a layer of soaked espresso lady fingers, cocoa), but contained in a tart shell vs. a cup. This would have been so creative of them to do. However, it really is just a tart shell filled with a ridiculous amount of whipped cream with MAYBE a hint of mascarpone with a whisper of espresso flavor (you can hardly detect it), and what looked like 2 tiny soaked lady fingers somewhere in the center. I had to dig pretty far into the cream to find them. There was nothing delicious or exciting about it. As for the cannoli, I've had better. Try the ones from Sierra Chef, a tiny gourmet Italian specialty shop in Genoa. You can really taste the richness of the ricotta at Sierra Chef The description of the BONDI sandwich sounded great. It is a substantial sandwich and you probably will be satisfied with just eating half of it. It's a chicken breast sandwich with gouda, avocado, lettuce, tomato and sun-dried tomato pesto mayo. The sandwich lacked flavor/umph. Sun-dried tomatoes typically have alot of flavor, but it was lacking in the mayo. I don't believe they season the chicken breast, but if they seasoned it with some herbs and spices and tweaked the mayo, this sandwich could be a flavor bomb. Service was great. The woman at the cashier was polite and smiley. And the woman who handed me my sandwich was also very smiley. Would I come back? Sure. They have an extensive menu in both savory and sweet and i would hopefully like to find something that suits my taste. 3 items set me back $28+. Pricey for mediocre food, but what isn't pricey these days?

At one point, the coworker even came over to show her something on her personal phone, and the conversation continued. She eventually bagged my coffee cake without saying a word, still never making eye contact, and handed it to me. I actually had to lean toward her until she finally looked at me. I said, "Thank you," and walked away. I completely understand that working with the public can be challenging, and everyone has bad days. But this was more than just being having a bad day--it was zero effort to acknowledge or interact with a customer. Schat's is a place I really like, which is why this experience was so disappointing. They also have a lovely wine menu, and the Riesling I tried was delightful -- crisp and just sweet enough. I originally ordered the street corn ravioli (which they were unfortunately out of), so I switched to the short rib ravioli with cheesy garlic bread. Both were tasty, and the homemade pasta definitely delivered! Other members of our party ordered burgers, and my sister had the gluten-free shrimp pasta, which she absolutely loved. The ambiance and food were definitely the highlights here. The one downside was the wait. We ordered drinks and then waited over an hour for our food, despite the restaurant not being particularly crowded and there being plenty of kitchen staff around. Service overall was okay, but the wait was a bit excessive. That said, they do promote homemade food, and this feels like a mom-and-pop operation, so I'm willing to give them some grace. Fresh, made-from-scratch food takes time, and I appreciate supporting local businesses. I'd just love to see a little more consistency with the timing. Overall, a lovely spot with great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I'd happily return and hope for a smoother experience next time!
