I love coming here to eat with my parents. They live in Carson and this is sucha cute new addition to the downtown area. The prices are great and you get a huge amount of food! They did not skimp on the smoked salmon with my toast. I devoured it within 10 minutes. I tried their kiwi strawberry mimosa. It inspired me to make this at home! So perfect for spring. Just a heads up, it can get extremely busy so I suggest reservations or just be ready to wait a little bit

Had to fast for labs and this place was close to the lab! Cute lil cafe, some delicious food and attentive service! Be forewarned they cook to order everything, so not a 5 min wait, but was well worth it. I had a custom omelet, DH had the Eve's burger (HUGE) and a bowl of oxtail soup, which he thoroughly enjoyed! We will go back!

I Happen to be in Carson and decided to try out Eves Eatery, So happy I did! My husband got the Zeke omelet and he loved it. No shortage of meat or Serrano peppers. Beautiful presentation to boot! I got the NY steak and eggs, the steak was melt in your mouth and seasoned perfectly. If we lived in the area we would absolutely frequent this place more often. But still, it will definitely be on our radar for places to stop in when we happen to be nearby. Great food, good service, clean, what more could one ask for?

Awesome food love that everything is made from scratch... We had the chicken and red velvet waffles and fresh brewed iced tea. It was delicious. The only thing that I would say I would want differently is maple syrup.

Tried eves for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Upon entering, we got a great first impression from the get go. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We were instantly sat and all of the staff we interacted with was very nice and attentive. I ordered the cheesecake stuffed French toast and it was sooo good. Maybe the best French toast I've had. Was not overly sweet and tasted very fresh My husband got the omg chicken sandwich with soup and he enjoyed it as well. It was very juicy. We were happy to hear everything on the menu is made in house, I feel that is rare these days! We also loved how you can purchase pasta kits to go. We will definitely be doing that for a date night. Overall the price seemed on point with the quality and portion of food and we enjoyed our experience.

Was able to visit Carson City, Nevada and was recommended to try Eve's Eatery. Located on the main road in Carson, Eve's Eatery was a delicious brunch experience. We visited on. Saturday morning and was able to get seating. Eve's menu offer plenty of options for any pallet and prices are very reasonable. Eve's also uses the freshest ingredients and hearty portions. Several mimosa options for those looking for a refreshing libation. Service was great and allowed us privacy to enjoy great conversation. They are pretty popular so be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table. Seatings is limited for outside dining, but inside or out, a great meal will be exactly what you're looking for. Eve's Eatry was a great experience and highly recommend. Happy to return and try something else on their menu.

I was visiting family from out of town and this restaurant was recommended. Restaurant: Cozy atmosphere. Very nice staff; very attentive. Food: Amazing! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal - Shrimp Scampi, Red Chilaquiles, Spinach Fettuccine and The Knockout. ... In conclusion, if I were to live in town, this place would definitely be my favorite restaurant!

Food was great, ambience is nice, server was great. It did take some time to get our food granted it was 10am on a Sunday. Our other friends that have eaten here always mention the same thing, takes time so don't when you are super hungry just enjoy yourself and come prepared with that in mind. My daughter's $6 Mickey Mouse pancake was great value and fun with some cotton candy on it. Burgers were great. Downsides are it's pretty hot in there! They need some fans for air movement and tint on those east facing windows. Great place.

We stopped here for lunch on way to Christmas shop. This place was busy and worth the wait! The menu looked so good it was hard to choose!!! We all loved our food. Truly delish! Definitely will return. It was a great vibe, lots of chatter, and energy. The service was exceptional

Stopped in today in a hunt for some clam chowder... yummmm! Definitely did not disappoint. Super hearty and such great flavor. The hubby had the French dip sandwich with fries. The portion was big, French fries were great and the ranch was amazing. Cute place and great service. You can also get fresh pasta to go.

I can't believe I'm actually going to give this review a one star review…read more Great Basin Brewing has been a favorite of ours for well over a year almost 2 years now. It's been our go to place. Today being Father's Day, we were out and about in town and decided we would eat there. All the way there I kept bragging to my grandson how great this place is and it's our go to spot. yada yada yada. It wasn't very busy and we were seated very quickly. The service has always been pretty friendly. The service today was adequate and I'll get to that in a second. My grandson ordered the pork belly, Mac and cheese. I kept saying how that is a really good choice and he's really going to like it. My wife ordered the half rack ribs with fries and coleslaw. I had what I think is called the butchers platter with ribs, chicken wings, and pork belly. The food arrived and looked pretty darn good. But that's where it ends. My wife kept saying how salty the food was. And I got to thinking about that as I was eating my wings with the so-called Memphis dust flavoring on them. Those were equally salty so I thought wow OK maybe it's just our taste buds. Then I tried my ribs and they were also salty. I tried my wife's ribs just to see if they were that salty and come to find out they really were and dry. The fries that came with my wife's food tasted like they were old like they've been sitting out for a while. The coleslaw was also bland. After bragging about the pork belly and cheese, my grandson stated that it was pretty bland with very little flavor. So I tried it just to see what was going on and sure enough it was really lacking something what I don't know. I'm thinking garlic because it was pretty darn bland. I honestly hate to give a review like this because I really like this place as I said before it's been our go to spot. Now, as far as the service the server, she was very friendly, but that was pretty much it, after getting our food she didn't even check on us until it was about time for us to leave and she brought us our check. It's just kind of weird because there's a couple of servers here that are exceptional. So I don't know what's going on, but this was a very big letdown for a couple of regular customers. As usual, the place is clean and spacious with plenty of TVs to enjoy sports. In the end, the beverages were about the best part of the meal. It was Father's Day, so my beer was free so thank you for that maybe this was just a rough day. I don't know. I don't know if you have new cooks or what but this was pretty bad considering how much we like this place and how good it has always been.

Our waters were never filled and our non-alcoholic beverage drinkers were never checked on to see if their drinks were ok/wanted something else/need anything. She also only checked on us 1x right after the food was dropped off to see if we needed freshly ground pepper and not again until it was time for desert and the check. For appetizers we had the Thai Scallops and the special Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus. The Thai Scallops are one of our go-tos and they were good; however, they were pretty heavily breaded tonight. The Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus was good but was hard to eat and could have used a bit more cooking. For my main I had the linguine and clams. I was HIGHLY disappointed in this tonight. The noodles were delicious and beautifully done but the "sauce" was nothing but pasta water. There was flavor: no garlic, no butter, no clams-no flavor whatsoever. The clams were also macerated as if someone chewed them up and spit them in the dish for me. My husband had the ribeye with gorgonzola butter and polenta. Everything was cooked beautifully and seasoned perfectly but his chunk of butter (his favorite) was so frozen it never melted-even by the end of the meal. For desert, my husband had the bread pudding and we had the crème brûlée. My husband said the bread pudding was good but slightly dry and cold. The crème brûlée was horrible. We sent it back and got "oh sorry someone new made them-big fail" and laughing. The brûlée was not even close to being set so it was pure liquid. It wasn't even a consistent temperature. After years of loving eating at Js and celebrating milestones here it makes me sad to see how quality is slipping.

What I received was an amazing blend of super tender pork in a slightly sweet but tangy BBQ sauce, mac n' cheese, and a perfectly cooked (not hard or dry), very generously sized potato (big enough for two). On a chilly day, when you're hungry, this absolutely fits the bill. Warming and savory, but well balanced, and not greasy. After some bowling or billiards? Perfect. I was thinking this was probably the best flavor, when I saw the rotating ad for....a spaghetti potato pie. Will have to come back and try other varieties. The cashier was very helpful and patient explaining the menu. Checked the website and looks like they update the menu with new options too. They say they're "dedicated to perfecting the art of the baked potato," and they're doing exactly that. Along with it, they're also serving up one of the best craft-style fountain sodas, Stubborn Soda. Don't hesitate to make a little detour (or order delivery) to try this place. Needless to say, they have room for special events and private parties. So if you are looking for a venue keep them in mind. The Prime Rib was outstanding. Indeed, it was the best Prime Rib I have had in a very long time. Our waiter and the Maitre de were outstanding. They made us all feel so welcome and almost like we were family. We all are still raving about the Prime Rib. There is something so wonderful about a place treating you like family. The human connection is something we all want. It is so awesome to feel appreciated and connected to our world and others. The staff here were outstanding. Everyone commented on the service we received. The appetizers and salads were tasty. The family members who had the salmon said it was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Portions are generous. All of us remarked on how good the food was. Not to mention, the price was right. The ambiance might be a little lacking. There are no tablecloths. However, keep in mind that tablecloths come with a cost of their own. They need to be laundered and then some need to be replaced. So there would be an added cost. So the question is would you prefer a little more ambiance or a cheaper price for an excellent meal? However, if you are looking for excellent service with delicious food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you. Not to mention, that the drive to Carson is beautiful. Plus there are plenty of things to do in Carson to enjoy. Perhaps it is time to beckon back to a slower pace of life. Take a nostalgic trip to Carson to see the Capitol all decorated for Christmas. We were told that the chef was on vacation. Should have just left then. Then after being seated and given menus, they came and took them back and gave us this paper revised menu since the head chef was out. Our actual waitress was Chelsea and she was fantastic. If not for her, I would give 0 stars if possible. The restaurant itself we really did not get to see much as we were tucked away in the 1st dining area by the entrance. No worries. It was nice and quaint inside and that's about where it stopped!! I asked about bread, and a different lady brought us 2 rolls that were barely room temp. Basically went from bag to bowl. We ordered our prime rib medium. As anything over that gets tough. We also ordered it with broccoli and when it arrived it had inedible asparagus. I mean they were so fibrous we could barely cut through them. Chelsea apologized and brough us out some broccoli on the side, and just like the rolls, it was barely room temp. Not her fault by no means. Now onto the very overly cooked prime rib. There was 0 pink in it. It was well done and very tough. It was also barely 1/4 inch thick. I mean the thinnest prime rib I have ever seen for supposedly being a 9oz. I have had 8oz at other restaurants twice the size of what we were served.. I managed to cut a couple pieces for my husband to eat. I dd not eat any of it. Basically we sent the majority of it back when we left. The only plus thing about this visit was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Still luke warm at best. I ate about 3 bites of food and was done with it. It was the worst prime rib I have ever seen/tasted in my life. Now Chelsea went and got our receipt for us, which of course was no charge, but if it was, I would have never paid 22.99 for what we received. It was that bad. Chelsea apologized several times and like we told her, you do not control what comes out on these plates. So yes she did get a nice cash tip for being such a sweet waitress and trying to do what she could. As far as the restaurant, we will not be going back for anything there. It is also only open Friday and Saturday from 4-close. I came home and made a sandwich for my now late dinner!
