We decided to sit outside the on a beautiful morning in Carson City, Amy was our server and she was just helping out for the 4th of July weekend. We decided to get a pitcher of mimosas for $35 the pink grapefruit is my favorite. If you're going to have two each it's a better deal. 5 for the price of 4. All the breakfast plates are huge so I always get the kids Pancake, 1 scrambled egg and piece a of bacon. It's nice they let me go that even though I'm not under 10. My husband on the other hand had the Chicken Fried Steak which was nice and flakey it is the best way I can describe it! The food came out timely not along wait which was nice since we had another commitment . It was about an hour we were there. The service was wonderful as usual. The restaurant was bright, clean, and had a great mix of music playing in the background. Not a big fan of the new menu but decided to try new things since my favorites and go-tos have been changed. Today I tried the cinnamon rolls without Carmel. They were decent but not reorder worthy in my opinion. They were dry and dense. I would have also liked more of the icing on top. For my main I tried the breakfast burrito with bacon and chorizo. The burrito was filled with goodness and flavor. It was a step above a standard breakfast burrito. I definitely will be back for another visit-but will be skipping the cinnamon rolls. read more

I love that Squeeze In offers healthy options. The superfood scramble was really delicious. I got it without the broccoli-just can't handle broccoli with eggs! The fresh fruit contained a great selection. My companion ordered the Southwest bowl and loved it. Service was great-they kept the coffee coming constantly! I love the downtown location and think this is one of the most charming settings along with a darling patio. Would just love if they offered more gluten free options like pancakes and bread. read more

A Solid 4 Star Breakfast Experience in Downtown Carson City I took Gayle here today for her Birthday Breakfast, starting with a celebratory Bloody Mary. My toast to her long and happy life was a glass of OJ. Gayle remembers visiting the Truckee branch, which might have been the first, as she remembers "squeezing in" to a very tight breakfast spot. Looking at their website, this is now a modest regional chain, with restaurants in Truckee, Modesto (?), Reno, Fernley, Las Vegas, and Carson City. This downtown location has plenty of room, a cool casual eclectic vibe, and good parking options (within a few blocks), considering the small semi-residential size of Downtown Carson City. Service was prompt and friendly, and I enjoyed the Periodic Table/Coffee apron motif that our wait person was wearing. Gayle and I stayed on the breakfast side of the Brunch menu and chose the Popeye Omelet (with a side of Bacon) and the Pancake Breakfast respectively, plus coffee all around. It was all good and in fairly generous portions. Gayle didn't finish her omelet and it is now home for later consumption. The only nit was that I ordered my eggs poached and they were served over easy. I didn't bring it up to the wait person as I like my eggs that way too. Service was great, friendly and attentive. The space was large and clean, with nice decor. The wall had signatures on it but I didn't get a chance to ask why. Not too loud, even given the openness of the dining area, which was nice and made it so conversation was easy. The Eric's Breakfast Burrito was really good! The red salsa put it over the top! Loved the avocado on it. I asked for the bacon to be on the side and super crispy, which they accommodated. It came with a delicious, fresh, and chunky pico de gallo. Skillet potatoes accompanied the burrito, and they were cooked just right. Overall, a very tasty and satisfying meal. Parking can be a challenge, but it's such a quaint area that walking a bit near other shops wasn't a problem. There is a handicap parking spot near the entrance. read more

We stopped by here last weekend for a quick bite to eat. We were sat immediately - which if you have ever been to a Squeeze In is strange. We ordered the burrito and manly morris meal. The potatoes on both meals were cold and soggy. The biscuits and gravy were vastly underseasoned. The burrito, eggs, and sausage were completely fine for a diner. We had a delicious breakfast a couple of week's ago at the Carson Squeeze In. The restaurant is warm, festive and alien themed, and the food is fresh and delicious. Yum! It's always such a hard choice choosing what to order. But a choice I did make. Shi's Super Food Scramble is always delicious and a perfectly sized portion. My dining companion's selection was also delicious, as everything on the menu is. All the staff are super friendly and attentive, and the location downtown is convenient and easy to get to. I've been visiting Squeeze In locations since they arrived in the Northern NV area and I have visited the Carson location several times since living here. Our latest visit was wonderful. Before this past week we were also here for Mother's Day. The food is consistent here but nothing out of this world. The pancakes are always a great choice as well as twice baked scramble. They also have an extensive alcohol menu for your morning pick me up. I've never had an issue with the actual service here but sometimes table wait time can be long and paying can sometimes be challenging. I've often had to go up front to pay and other times they come to the table. Either is fine, but consistency is appreciated. The ambiance is classic for a Squeeze In. Tight tables and eclectic furniture. You either love it or hate it. I think it's a vibe on its own. I did get a chance to speak to the owner, Whitney, who is such a nice women. She said they are opening a location in Gardnerville which is awesome. Looking forward to checking that out soon. read more

The Service was Fantastic, and I keep forgetting to write something on the Wall. I had a Squeeze In Egghead Breakfast Club Card, but sadly they don't do that rewards cards anymore, so it's going to be another bookmark. Ambiance is haight/ashbury vibes = loved it. They have an alien theme definitely ask about the back story to that. Service was good they were a bit slammed when we got there but they made us feel right at home and hooked us up with some buttered biscuits and country potatoes while we waited. We came here yesterday for brunch, it was not too busy when we go here at around 11:30am. We asked to be seated outside since it was so nice out. I ordered the Racy Tracy omelette, it comes loaded with crispy bacon and mushrooms. It's so good but big enough for two people. My husband got the Jack Johnson banana walnut pancakes. He added eggs and carne asada. The pancakes are to die for, they're so soft and so tasty. The carne asada us the reason this place lost a star, it was rough. I'm so glad we found this little gem years ago in Redwood City California. With this location we have visited them all. We will be back to this one in a couple of weeks read more

Was super excited to try this place after reading the menu. Despite only 5 occupied tables and 2 waitresses, our waitress took a call for 15 min after seating us, before we got to order. Other waitress took our order over luckily. After that we got our order wrong two times. I'm not picky so i just took the second plate, and it was super good! The food is often good but not the most consistent. The most recent time I was served potatoes that were crunchy and undercooked. I dined here many weeks ago and had the friendliest server who happened to be the owner which was nice. Unfortunately my next visit was not so good. I felt very unwelcome from the moment I came in. The wait staff is not very friendly or attentive. Smiles were absent and I was never checked on during my meal only at the end when the bill came. The prices are just too high to not have a great experience. It will take me a while to try this location again. read more

Really loved this place. There is tons of writing on the walls from guest who have eaten there before. It's really brightly painted and has a fun overall vibe. Multiple waitresses checked on us even though the place was packed. They initially told us it would be a little wait, but by the time she got us in the system, a table opened up. They were really friendly and personable and made sure we were taken care of. So many drink options to choose from, although I didn't get anything this time. The Benedict was perfect. Wow! I ordered the breakfast burritos with Canadian Bacon with red sausage on the side. I also ordered the spuds with cheese and onions. The spuds were perfectly done and so delicious. The red sauce and pico were perfect heat but so much flavor. Added to the burrito and it was the best breakfast I've had out in a while. Wow, what a surprise. My wife suggested we go here one day last week, and today I returned by myself. Why? The place has a great environment, the food is great, the place is clean, and the service is good. These are the keys to success if you asked me, and they've been able to achieve that. Today I had the Chiliquiles and they were so good. I opted for the chorizo addition and the upgraded spuds (sautéed onions and cheese) and I was smiling. My 'pro tip' for you will be for you to be patient in the area of parking. The two times I've been there it has been midweek, but I can see that parking would be very tight on weekends and holidays.
