Right off the bat, our waitress was snippy and rude. Not just with us either, I overheard her snapping at all the customers. Sadly they seemed to be short staffed when we arrived for brunch and waited 30 minutes for avocado toast and a sandwich. Also I ordered a side of eggs that were forgotten, but because the waitress never checked on us, we had to go up to the counter to let them know. The cafe itself is a cool, funky space with lots of art and pop cultural references as well as historical works decorating the tables and wall. I wouldn't go again sadly because of a lack of respect from the staff.

When traveling through Carson City, Nevada you need to stop at Comma coffee. Comma coffee opened on Nevada day in 2000, before that it was a local mercantile store in 1860. You will smile at the way the shop is decorated with vintage posters, snappy sayings, and the beautiful personality of the servers. Today I just had coffee with a heated chocolate chip strawberry muffin! The coffee was perfect and the strawberry muffin delicious!

One of the stops on the Carson City Wine walk was Comma Coffee.  We really sad that we weren't able to order any food here as they were closed.  We met the owner, June, who was so nice.  Unfortunately, since we were just passing through, we never got to eat here.  Their menu looks amazing.  It pains me that we didn't get to try this place out!

Eggshamination sandwich, love the lattes here too.

This is one of my favorite chill Carson breakfast. They make delicious cold press juice... the sandwiches are yummy (and served quick) . I love to have coffee here as well. They serve coffee in their unique owl mugs and give you enough to enjoy . The place is unique and fun, the employees there are nice & attentive. The place feels warm and relaxed.

Pretty disappointed with my recent trip into comma coffee. I grew up in the area and spent my childhood and teenage years at comma coffee. I moved away for about 12 years and just moved back and couldn't wait to show my husband this cute niche coffee shop. Unfortunately the staff were so rude!!!! I couldn't believe it. The ambiance is still cute. My coffee was good but our lattes were both $8 each. That is the most expensive latte I've ever bought in my entire life. When leaving we brought our cups back up to the bar and asked if that was a good place to leave them and the employee barely turned around and said "yup" and rolled her eyes. So rude couldn't believe it.

I ordered the cappuccinowith my breakfast sandwich so delicious

Amazing Strawberry Fields Forever salad with chicken. I did the ginger balsamic dressing and it was great!

Awesome place to grab a coffee or quick lunch! The vibe is pretty unique, I was able to find something interesting pretty much every time when I go there. The service has always been good. Great location, easy to find.

First time here-what an adorable coffee shop! The interior is charming and eclectic and loved the menu selections. They have a large choice of fresh squeezed juice-the carrot apple ginger one was so good. There was a singer that was performing some of my favorite oldies-so fun while having brunch. I had the east coast bagel and lox-salmon was fresh and I chose an onion bagel which really added to the flavor and I would definitely order again. Service was excellent. All the staff were so nice and friendly. This one's a winner and worth the short drive from Reno to Carson City

Very nice place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy live music performances by local musicians. The menu and bakery racks were filled with yummy choices. We ordered omelets which are cooked by steam versus on a grill. I have never seen or heard of that method before, but the result was fantastic! The service was decent for a busy restaurant and the decor eclectic. I would definitely make the drive back over to eat here again.

Recommend! Recommend! Recommend! So first this is such a great place to come take a rest and enjoy your morning or afternoon tea or coffee and grab a bite . As soon as you walk through the door it shoots back in time from the ceiling to the decor. The nostalgia is crazy cool vibes here! Loved the lattes we got along with the breakfast sandwich's !

(@lovingreno775 on Instagram) and was excited to stop by! I used the drive-thru and was greeted with friendly service. I ordered an iced butter rum latte for myself, an iced raspberry mocha for my husband, and one of their chocolate-dipped biscotti. The raspberry mocha was the standout for me, with a rich, deep flavor that really came through. My butter rum latte was good, but a bit milkier than I would have hoped for. The one thing that gave me pause was the price. At about $9 for a medium drink, it felt a little steep. That said, I appreciate supporting local businesses, and I was happy to learn that they use organic coffee. I've also heard they make their own chai, which definitely has me interested in coming back to give it a try Overall, a solid local coffee stop with friendly service and some unique offerings. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

Stopping into Clyde's transports you to a cozy winter lodge, yet still offers a beautiful deck space for the warm Tahoe days. The staff was very kind, answering any questions we had, and drinks were served up quickly. The pastries here looked absolutely insane! It took everything I had to pass up on them- but next time, I have already decided I am getting the apple streusel. The drinks are a bit pricey here, but the portions are large. Most iced/blended drinks are around $7.50, but they are 16-oz servings. The Green Monkey (blended matcha, almond milk, and banana) was so creamy and sweet, and delicious. The smoothies are soft serve-based and offer a perfect sweetness level while still being fresh from the fruit and creamy like a milkshake. I also enjoyed a double shot to sample their espresso game- very tasty stuff. They have lots of merch for sale, including their coffee varieties, which I thought were priced well. Usually this place is slammed, especially between 7-8 AM when I typically drive by. However, it was pretty chill when we stopped by for some kid fruit smoothies, an Americano, and an oat milk latte. There were about 4 cars in line but we had our drinks in less than 10 minutes. There is also a few tables and a walk up window at this location. The Americano was interesting. I asked for sugar free vanilla syrup and they loaded it up. Tasted more like artificial syrup than coffee. I think people come here for the sugar filled sodas and teas, and maybe not for a great cup of coffee. Nonetheless, the service was still good and we got what we asked for. The latte was better and the kids smoothies were a great value. They also hooked us up with these awesome buttons (pictured)! Overall a great experience. It's been our go to place. Today being Father's Day, we were out and about in town and decided we would eat there. All the way there I kept bragging to my grandson how great this place is and it's our go to spot. yada yada yada. It wasn't very busy and we were seated very quickly. The service has always been pretty friendly. The service today was adequate and I'll get to that in a second. My grandson ordered the pork belly, Mac and cheese. I kept saying how that is a really good choice and he's really going to like it. My wife ordered the half rack ribs with fries and coleslaw. I had what I think is called the butchers platter with ribs, chicken wings, and pork belly. The food arrived and looked pretty darn good. But that's where it ends. My wife kept saying how salty the food was. And I got to thinking about that as I was eating my wings with the so-called Memphis dust flavoring on them. Those were equally salty so I thought wow OK maybe it's just our taste buds. Then I tried my ribs and they were also salty. I tried my wife's ribs just to see if they were that salty and come to find out they really were and dry. The fries that came with my wife's food tasted like they were old like they've been sitting out for a while. The coleslaw was also bland. After bragging about the pork belly and cheese, my grandson stated that it was pretty bland with very little flavor. So I tried it just to see what was going on and sure enough it was really lacking something what I don't know. I'm thinking garlic because it was pretty darn bland. I honestly hate to give a review like this because I really like this place as I said before it's been our go to spot. Now, as far as the service the server, she was very friendly, but that was pretty much it, after getting our food she didn't even check on us until it was about time for us to leave and she brought us our check. It's just kind of weird because there's a couple of servers here that are exceptional. So I don't know what's going on, but this was a very big letdown for a couple of regular customers. As usual, the place is clean and spacious with plenty of TVs to enjoy sports. In the end, the beverages were about the best part of the meal. It was Father's Day, so my beer was free so thank you for that maybe this was just a rough day. I don't know. I don't know if you have new cooks or what but this was pretty bad considering how much we like this place and how good it has always been.
