My dad got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte. It was good, but the flavor was a bit muted. I tried a bite of my dad's Rainforest Bagel and liked it! It was very fresh and light. I've been to this coffee shop a few times before and always had such good memories of it. I stopped by today and was surprised to find out the original owner had sold the business. Having an Aussie owner running an Aussie coffee shop was part of its charm, that now seems to be lacking. One barista was friendly enough, but the other didn't seem very pleasant and appeared to be running late, rushing in just before my mom and I walked in. Not the welcoming I had hoped for. The bagel sandwiches were just as good as I remembered, but the coffee was just okay. The flavor was a little dull and tasted more like cream and sugar than coffee. The shop is still nice and clean, but it doesn't feel like the cozy place I usually look for in a small coffee shop. I'm definitely bummed because I visit this area from SoCal often, and this used to be one of my favorite spots. read more

I stopped in on my way to Kirkwood to make sure I was fueled up for a day of fresh powder. I had my usual order, a vanilla latte. It did not seem like there was any syrup in it, it was a little bitter. It also tasted like the roast was burnt. It wasn't terrible, but not the best or even on average of what I am used to getting. I didn't know about the GF bagels, I will have to stop in again and try those and get another coffee to give it a chance again. read more

What a cute little spot to have a morning coffee and delicious bagel. Hubby and I stopped in for bagels since they sounded great and reviews seemed to agree. We both got the jalapeno cheddar bagels toasted with cream cheese. I'd already had multiple cups of coffee so we skipped the beverages. The workers there were efficient and very sweet to us and everyone else that came in while we were there. The bagel was crisp, chewy, and delicious! We devoured them fast! Picked this coffee shop based on its name- Oi !, and they offered Cuban coffee. I was heading over the hill to Plymouth for the weekend and stopped for coffee. Easy to find and easy access parking. Efficient staff. Simple interior. Complete menu. Besides coffee they offer bagels and cream cheese and a few bagel sandwiches. The Cuban was to the point. I've been coming to this cafe for the past three mornings, as I've been stranded in this town while my car is fixed, and the cafe has been amazing! The first day I got the pb&j latte and the peanut butter taste was so yummy! The last 2 days I've gotten and iced coconut latte, and when one was accidentally made with coconut milk instead of syrup, they happily remade it! The breckie bagel is so yummy and I like to add avocado and cucumber for some greens. I'll honestly miss this cafe when I head home, and wish it was closer. Super grateful to the baristas who made me feel at home and let me have a place of solace during my chaotic weekend! read more

The bagels here are really good. I tried the Aussie with added egg on a cheese jalapeño bagel and the YA turkey on an everything bagel with cream cheese instead of cheddar. The Aussie was my favorite and honestly the perfect breakfast bagel. The jalapeños add a nice kick without being overpowering, and the smashed avocado was a great touch. I also ordered the eggnog latte at first, but the bourbon syrup didn't work for me and I didn't enjoy it. The staff was super kind and offered to remake my drink, so I went with a mocha latte instead, which didn't disappoint. I got it less sweet and it had great flavor and presentation. Prices are very fair and the portions are solid. Only a few tables are available for dining in but not busy enough to be filled up. They do close around 12pm, which is a bit early, so I'd recommend getting there earlier in the day. read more

11/9/24- How much love does one have for coffee, Mexican food and Yelp..... When one crazy chic will pull over to stop and try a New Mexican restaurant.. As we were waiting for our food, I looked outside... and saw the sign Oi! Coffee.. I quickly Yelp it and noticed it would be closing in twenty min.. A friend who lives in Gardnerville raved about this place, so my wife and I tried it. I might have hit them on a bad day, but the baristas weren't the friendliest. I saw them with locals and they were very friendly. I can understand this. I absolutely loved my jalapeno bagel. They make it where they spread the cream cheese and close it. Wonderful!!!!! This is my fourth time coming to this lovely coffee shop. Every time my coffee is smooth and taste so good and it's the same quality each time. Wishing we had something like this up in Tahoe but every time I'm in town I definitely make a stop and I'm so pleased There are lots of tables and a couple of couches and every time I'm in there I see people on their laptops working it's peaceful in there with good music And the service is always wonderful everyone treats you really nice. Came by on an early Tuesday afternoon and it was such a good experience! The man working was a one man show, he made our bagels and he made our coffee. He was friendly, funny and had the Aussie accent which I'm assuming means he was the owner. We had the Aussie and the turkey bagels, both were tasty, perfectly salted and fresh. I had the dirty chai latte and it's one of the better chai's I have had to date. He got the mocha, also delicious. Highly recommend this place. read more

Oi coffee is a local little roaster in the Minden Gardnerville area nice casual atmosphere baristas are always friendly and nice as well as their café mocha is absolutely delicious.
