Every trip to Tahoe I've searched for the perfect coffee shop and this is it. The coffee was fresh had amazing aroma not overly sweet Just delicious and the interior is so cozy. The service was quick and professional.

A cute local coffee shop you can rely on for your caffeine fix. It's not super fancy with their drink menu, but it's practical and consistent. The inside is very Tahoe, with cozy cabin-like decor. I have found the staff to always be warm and friendly, and they have delicious pastries. If you're looking for a solid latte, this is the place to go. I always enjoy going to Clyde's when I'm in town.

I have apparently been sleeping on Kingsbury Grade! Clyde's is a killer coffee find just off the beaten path near Stateline, NV. Stopping into Clyde's transports you to a cozy winter lodge, yet still offers a beautiful deck space for the warm Tahoe days. The staff was very kind, answering any questions we had, and drinks were served up quickly. The pastries here looked absolutely insane! It took everything I had to pass up on them- but next time, I have already decided I am getting the apple streusel. The drinks are a bit pricey here, but the portions are large. Most iced/blended drinks are around $7.50, but they are 16-oz servings. The Green Monkey (blended matcha, almond milk, and banana) was so creamy and sweet, and delicious. The smoothies are soft serve-based and offer a perfect sweetness level while still being fresh from the fruit and creamy like a milkshake. I also enjoyed a double shot to sample their espresso game- very tasty stuff. They have lots of merch for sale, including their coffee varieties, which I thought were priced well. I will be back to Clyde's Coffee Roasting. It may even be my new favorite South Lake Tahoe coffee house, even if it means I have to drive out of the way a few minutes. Support your local coffee spots!

I have been driving past this location for ever and never stopped or noticed there was a coffee spot here, maybe due to snow or never crossed my mind? But this shop has many great choices, coffee and pastries to try from. Limited seats inside and seems like a grab n go, but definitely enough room to enjoy your treat inside. Support small businesses is the way to go.

We ordered apple strudel, chocolate scone, egg bite, and a latte. Their coffee was really good, we even bought a bag of whole bean coffee. Every comment says their apple strudel is amazing, it tasted good, not too sweet, but I thought the chocolate scone was more amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There are limited seats and packed on weekends, but the line moved quickly. I also liked the atmosphere inside, many cute signs.

Clyde's is my favorite coffee shop in South Lake, certainly the best within a 15 mile radius! The location is such a cozy, tucked away vibe. Parking can fill up quick during busy hours. Atmosphere is very chill and cottage-y. Sunny mornings are second to none here with their front patio. The espresso bevs all check out and the staff could not be more friendly! I've had their latte and cappuchino and they are all delicious and properly made. Diverse selection of home made baked goods available: something sweet, something savory. Always worth the stop!

Definitely give this place a try! The coffee and bagels were so good, and the front desk lady at the register was so friendly and inviting. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Tahoe.

During our stay in Lake Tahoe, we went to this coffee shop three or four separate times every single time the coffee was perfectly done and the pastries were delightful. This is one of those places that's a local spot and we're so happy we found it. Everyone was so kind, both the employees and other customers were friendly. Blueberry scone was sooo good and the egg bites were great but sell out quick! I tried a different coffee each day just to ensure everything was 10/10 it turned out to be 100!

Such a cute coffee spot! Came here on a Saturday morning to grab some much needed coffee. The service was super fast and the drink was soo yummy. Definitely would come back again!

Visited on a rainy morning and the line was quite long. Luckily it moved fast so I wasn't standing in the cold for too long. The interior is nicely decorated and cozy, but walking around felt very claustrophobic since there was a lot of people and not too much space between the tables and chairs. I ordered Clyde's hot mocha drink and it was good, but nothing fancy. Might have to try some other menu items as it seems like a popular coffee shop.

Our favorite spot for coffee whenever we're in Tahoe! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with light pastries, bagels, and granola. The staff is always so kind always smiling and taking a moment to chat, which makes it feel extra welcoming. The drinks are amazing! Our daughter always gets the hot chocolate, I go for my classic oat milk iced vanilla latte, and my husband loves trying whatever the special of the day is. And yes they have crushed ice! We even keep a punch card here because we make it a point to stop by every visit. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local small business!

On my trip to South Lake Tahoe, I ended up stopping here twice and I'm so glad I did! The coffee shop itself is so cute, such a cozy and inviting vibe. I ordered a classic vanilla iced latte and it was absolutely delicious. Their pastries are just as amazing. If you're a coffee lover, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out!

Pleasant local coffee shop. Good pastry. If you order a cappuccino it comes as a latte. No mugs, paper cups only.

Currently they have send me a double order and are prepared today to sent me yet another order. They do not answer their emails or their phone. No idea what is going on but endless supplies of 5 pound bags of coffee every few weeks is not what I want. I will cancel my subscription, membership and never order again. (I'd burn their shirt as well but it's a pretty nice t-shirt). My advice is to never order anything from them. Perhaps they will get customer service straightened out but as of the last two months it is a nightmare. New- I sent 19 emails with the exact same information-a notice showing a new shipment of coffee mirroring the order I received two weeks ago and asking them to cancel- and this Yelp review. They contacted me via email assuring me the order was cancelled, when my next delivery was due, and thanking me for my years of service. My guess is a negative Yelp review impacts them. I like their coffee. I like the fact some of the money goes to eye cancer research. But beware, you are on your own to handle subscriptions and shipments. And because they answered my emails after multiple weeks of wrestling with this I doubled their star review- from one to a two.,,,,,,,,, For reasons known only to me I am changing my review from 2 star to 5 star. These are nice people in the midst of a very stressful time.

It would not be out of place in a three-Michelin-star dining room. He roasts every batch himself over a wood fire, feeding a beautiful old roaster with logs he chops by hand. His espresso blends are composed with a level of precision that feels almost synesthetic. Ask him what he is aiming for and he will describe the roast in shapes: how wide the base should be, whether it tapers or flares, how many sides the finished polygon has. I have stood there listening, fascinated, with no real idea what he is talking about, then tasted the cup and understood anyway. Important to know: this is not a coffee shop. There is no barista counter. It is a modest storefront and warehouse, and if you stop by you will likely see Tim at the roaster, stoking the fire. The aroma is arresting from the street. That wood fire imparts a signature note that sets his coffee apart. It does not turn smoky in the jerky sense. It reads as a gentle campfire thread running through the cup, adding warmth and dimension without heaviness. Since moving away from Reno I miss these beans enough that I cave and pay the shipping. If you order Priority Mail, the bags arrive right in the early sweet spot of their drinkability window, perfect for dialing in extraction. If you know your way around a grinder and an espresso machine, get these beans. Tim Curry is an amazing craftsman making world-class coffee, one hand-roasted batch at a time.

I'm a huge fan of Coffeebar in general, so when I saw a location I had never known about or been to, I threw it straight into the map and headed over around 1 PM. It took me 2-3 laps around the block to realize this place was tucked in an alleyway. It's a true hidden gem. I almost gave up when I couldn't find it and the map directions didn't make much sense. This location is a small shop with only a little bit of seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. This is primarily the roasters location, so it's a great place to enjoy the freshest of coffee but also a great place to purchase beans. They had a very large selection of beans for purchase. They still offer a decent menu and a few snacks, though much smaller than the other location. My wife enjoyed a matcha and I enjoyed one of the exclusive roastery blends on drip. Both drinks were very good. The quality of the drip coffee was superior. I want to visit again and try a coffee flight. That's something I've always wanted to do. Overall, friendly staff, delicious coffee, and even though it's hard to find, this hidden gem is well worth the stop. Cheers!
