BERRY SMOOTHIE and Carrot Cake Muffin
Annemarie N.

Ok, hear me out...This Berry Smoothie is....da....BOMB!!! The Carrot Cake Muffin wasnt quite as fire as their Cinnamon Rolls though..Decent, just not sweet like Carrot cake, which I love..But to each their own..But...this...SMOOTHIE! YUMMM! Highly recommend this place on Kingsbury...There might be a slight line, but so worth it...The Decor inside is adorable and plenty of outside seating

I have apparently been sleeping on Kingsbury Grade! Clyde's is a killer coffee find just off the beaten path near Stateline, NV. Stopping into Clyde's transports you to a cozy winter lodge, yet still offers a beautiful deck space for the warm Tahoe days. The staff was very kind, answering any questions we had, and drinks were served up quickly. The pastries here looked absolutely insane! It took everything I had to pass up on them- but next time, I have already decided I am getting the apple streusel. The drinks are a bit pricey here, but the portions are large. Most iced/blended drinks are around $7.50, but they are 16-oz servings. The Green Monkey (blended matcha, almond milk, and banana) was so creamy and sweet, and delicious. The smoothies are soft serve-based and offer a perfect sweetness level while still being fresh from the fruit and creamy like a milkshake. I also enjoyed a double shot to sample their espresso game- very tasty stuff. They have lots of merch for sale, including their coffee varieties, which I thought were priced well. I will be back to Clyde's Coffee Roasting. It may even be my new favorite South Lake Tahoe coffee house, even if it means I have to drive out of the way a few minutes. Support your local coffee spots!

Every trip to Tahoe I've searched for the perfect coffee shop and this is it. The coffee was fresh had amazing aroma not overly sweet Just delicious and the interior is so cozy. The service was quick and professional.

A cute local coffee shop you can rely on for your caffeine fix. It's not super fancy with their drink menu, but it's practical and consistent. The inside is very Tahoe, with cozy cabin-like decor. I have found the staff to always be warm and friendly, and they have delicious pastries. If you're looking for a solid latte, this is the place to go. I always enjoy going to Clyde's when I'm in town.

If you enjoy helping small businesses grow, these products are of good quality, and great for yourself or to give as gifts.

Was in the area for a few days, and came across this place. What a gem. Their coffee and nibbles are delicious. I kept it simple with a dark roast drip, and blueberry scone. Both with excellent flavor. The facility just makes one feel right at home. The service was quite friendly, giving me that family/community feel/vibe. Music playing quietly in the background. Came back again the next day and had a latte with an extra shot, and a croissant. Again, keeping it simple. And again, impressed by the deliciousness of their offerings. In the corner on the right, when you walk through the door, you'll find shirts, caps , sweat tops, etc for you purchase for yourself, or as gifts. As for myself, I usually grab a shirt or cap, because I enjoy advertising for small/local businesses. It was nice to learn that the owner(s) used to live where I currently do, in Redondo Beach. There's ample parking and seating. You should really consider giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed. I'll be back, and that's a fact. Enjoy.

Very cute and small! There's seating available both inside and outside. The place is super cozy, and the staff is very friendly. Everything on the menu looks delicious and well presented!

I have been driving past this location for ever and never stopped or noticed there was a coffee spot here, maybe due to snow or never crossed my mind? But this shop has many great choices, coffee and pastries to try from. Limited seats inside and seems like a grab n go, but definitely enough room to enjoy your treat inside. Support small businesses is the way to go.

We ordered apple strudel, chocolate scone, egg bite, and a latte. Their coffee was really good, we even bought a bag of whole bean coffee. Every comment says their apple strudel is amazing, it tasted good, not too sweet, but I thought the chocolate scone was more amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There are limited seats and packed on weekends, but the line moved quickly. I also liked the atmosphere inside, many cute signs.

Clyde's is my favorite coffee shop in South Lake, certainly the best within a 15 mile radius! The location is such a cozy, tucked away vibe. Parking can fill up quick during busy hours. Atmosphere is very chill and cottage-y. Sunny mornings are second to none here with their front patio. The espresso bevs all check out and the staff could not be more friendly! I've had their latte and cappuchino and they are all delicious and properly made. Diverse selection of home made baked goods available: something sweet, something savory. Always worth the stop!

Definitely give this place a try! The coffee and bagels were so good, and the front desk lady at the register was so friendly and inviting. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Tahoe.

During our stay in Lake Tahoe, we went to this coffee shop three or four separate times every single time the coffee was perfectly done and the pastries were delightful. This is one of those places that's a local spot and we're so happy we found it. Everyone was so kind, both the employees and other customers were friendly. Blueberry scone was sooo good and the egg bites were great but sell out quick! I tried a different coffee each day just to ensure everything was 10/10 it turned out to be 100!

There's plenty of parking and I like that there is a spot to chill and enjoy your drink w a friend away from the order stand area. The lady making the drinks behind the counter with dark brown/black hair was quick and efficient when it came to my drink. I don't leave negative reviews like ever because I always try to be understanding but Unfortunately I really didn't like the service of the woman with the nose piercing at the register. There was a man waiting/grabbing his drink from the right sided counter and when it was my turn to order she didn't even greet me but started chatting with the man in an upbeat tone, laughing and talking about how much she missed his dogs being with him and just being exaggerative in conversation... if I'm being honest. She didn't stop talking to him or even acknowledge me until he literally walked out of the door which really whatever. At one point I began to just scroll my phone and wait for her to finish. It was awkward. As soon as he left she just looked at me and asked if I was ready, there was really no greeting or even a smile, which was funny to me because she wouldn't stop smiling at that man. I asked if they would be able to add one of the flavors from a specialty coffee into a matcha instead and I already felt like I was bothering her. She said yeah and every other word that came out of her mouth after that was literally just one worded, no costumer service or friendliness in anyway. I don't think there was even a line behind me. I then tried to order a sandwich for my bf that I thought he would like since he wasn't with me, she told me they ran out of it and I asked what was closest to and she told me....I then said yeah that sounds fine and she began asking me regular questions on how I wanted the sandwich to be, I answered and in the middle of this I saw the pesto sand-which and was like oh he'd probably like that better so I said "I'm really sorry but could I switch it for a pesto instead". Her responses was just "ok". I could tell she was probably handling making the food too and was irritated that I was making it "more difficult for her" but why would I pay for something that I wouldn't really even want or enjoy? I knew what I wanted when I came to the counter and unfortunately they didn't have it. I didn't come to the counter still wondering what I wanted and wasting her time. And you know maybe it wouldn't even be an issue if I didn't see how enthusiastic she was towards the other guy, honestly most coffee shops around here rlly aren't chit chatty and I'm on board w that, we all have somewhere to be and something to do but w that they are the same w every costumer....not picking and choosing. When I got home the sandwich was missing the cream cheese that was listed on the description and it was cold which I'm guessing you have to ask for it to be warmed? Idk that's something I would have thought they ask you. I've been a server here in Tahoe for 10 years and this just isn't how I would handle things. I am always trying to be fast and convenient wherever I am service wise because I know how things go from the other side so I don't think I was doing too much. She wasn't confrontational and I definitely wasn't. Not looking to get her in trouble or looking for any sort of compensation on my end more just speaking up about a situation I thought could have gone better. And after looking at reviews it's clear this isn't her first time having an off day. I live directly behind the parking lot and was thinking this could be a convenient place to have a quick drink without having to drive to the usual keys cafe or west side coffee but it is what it is.

My favorite coffee place ever!!…read more It's hard to be my favorite especially since there's sooo many coffee spots but everything about three pines coffee was perfect. Staff were so friendly, lots of seating, lots of different teas/coffee/treats. I ordered: - Turkish Delight (w/oat, extra shot, less sweet) and it was the perfect. So creamy, lightly fragrant, smooth floral coffee 5/5 stars I'm back in the bay area now.. and would love a cup or 4. This will be my first stop back!!

They used a good flour blend, and the result was a crispy waffle, which can be hard to get when it's gluten free. I also had the avocado toast, which was good but on the smaller size and unexpectedly spicy. The banana bread was wonderful. The coffees were fine: the yalla habibi could have been more flavorful but the orange blossom was absolutely delicious. The space is beautiful inside but quite small, and they have some additional seating outside. We ended up ordered to go, and were charged for every single packaging item: cup, small bag for the pastry, and to go box. They did explain that they use some eco friendly packaging that is expensive, but it was still a lot to be charged for every packaging item in a place that doesn't have much seating. It was also very busy on a Sunday morning so it took close to an hour between waiting in line to order, waiting for our coffees and waiting for our food.

No idea what is going on but endless supplies of 5 pound bags of coffee every few weeks is not what I want. I will cancel my subscription, membership and never order again. (I'd burn their shirt as well but it's a pretty nice t-shirt). My advice is to never order anything from them. Perhaps they will get customer service straightened out but as of the last two months it is a nightmare. New- I sent 19 emails with the exact same information-a notice showing a new shipment of coffee mirroring the order I received two weeks ago and asking them to cancel- and this Yelp review. They contacted me via email assuring me the order was cancelled, when my next delivery was due, and thanking me for my years of service. My guess is a negative Yelp review impacts them. It would not be out of place in a three-Michelin-star dining room. He roasts every batch himself over a wood fire, feeding a beautiful old roaster with logs he chops by hand. His espresso blends are composed with a level of precision that feels almost synesthetic. Ask him what he is aiming for and he will describe the roast in shapes: how wide the base should be, whether it tapers or flares, how many sides the finished polygon has. I have stood there listening, fascinated, with no real idea what he is talking about, then tasted the cup and understood anyway. Important to know: this is not a coffee shop. There is no barista counter. It is a modest storefront and warehouse, and if you stop by you will likely see Tim at the roaster, stoking the fire. The aroma is arresting from the street. That wood fire imparts a signature note that sets his coffee apart. It does not turn smoky in the jerky sense. It reads as a gentle campfire thread running through the cup, adding warmth and dimension without heaviness. Since moving away from Reno I miss these beans enough that I cave and pay the shipping. If you order Priority Mail, the bags arrive right in the early sweet spot of their drinkability window, perfect for dialing in extraction. If you know your way around a grinder and an espresso machine, get these beans. Tim Curry is an amazing craftsman making world-class coffee, one hand-roasted batch at a time.
