We waited about 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order, then more than 15 minutes for our iced teas and a basket of chips to arrive. At that point, our food order was taken. Another 30-40 minutes later, our server returned and said our order had been lost and needed to be taken again. Having waited well over an hour, we decided to leave. We offered to pay for the teas and chips, but the staff told us not to worry about it, which we appreciated. Still, the cleanliness and service need attention, especially since only a handful of tables were occupied. We're open to trying again in the future, but we hope to see improvements first. We've enjoyed this restaurant before and would like to have a better experience next time.

The raspberry mocha was the standout for me, with a rich, deep flavor that really came through. My butter rum latte was good, but a bit milkier than I would have hoped for. The one thing that gave me pause was the price. At about $9 for a medium drink, it felt a little steep. That said, I appreciate supporting local businesses, and I was happy to learn that they use organic coffee. I've also heard they make their own chai, which definitely has me interested in coming back to give it a try Overall, a solid local coffee stop with friendly service and some unique offerings. While she was answering me perfectly fine, he called over from about five feet away, "Well, we're going to call out your exact drink order. Your drink's not ready." His response was rude and condescending, especially when his lack of communication created the confusion in the first place. My friend then ordered an iced chai and was given a hot one. He made the excuse that he had ridden a motorcycle for an hour and was having trouble hearing. That made very little sense considering he had just heard and inserted himself into my conversation from five feet away, yet apparently couldn't hear my friend standing directly in front of him. If his hearing was genuinely that impaired, taking customer orders and then using it as an excuse for getting them wrong was extremely frustrating. Our drinks were also subpar, service was slow, and the entire experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. Everyone has bad days, but if that was the issue, he probably should have stayed home or worked making drinks rather than taking orders in such a customer-facing position.
