Ordered fries and when I received them they were dry and cold, when I went back to let her know the fries were WAY over cooked they just said ok, like "sucks to be you" It's a shame that in a little town that you wouldn't give a abit about your customers... never again. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the lady and the young girl working this burger truck. Not only do they have some of the worst attitudes and the worst customer service I have ever seen to multiple customers and myself. But the food quality has gone done so bad that i am not even sure what they gave me. I will never be back here or recommend to anyone to visit this truck. The old lady running this food truck did not get my order right and then proceeded to yell at me that I messed up. This food truck, food trailer?, first caught my eye with all the illustrations of people all over the truck. It was parked outside the Genoa Bar Friday May 6. My friends and I ventured down for the evening, and it was just this food truck/trailer option (not like a Food truck Friday equivalent). There was one order ahead of ours by the time we walked up. My boyfriend and I each got an OG burger and we split a basket of half sweet potato waffle fries and half shoestring regular fries. We also added bacon. After ordering we went inside and ordered a drink from the bar while we waited. Some time later, maybe 5-10 mins, one of my friends and I wandered back outside because we weren't sure we'd hear the loudspeaker for our order being done. I was super impressed with the loudspeaker to have an order called. That is a great addition! A couple minutes later, my order was done and another friend's. So she and I walked our food inside and sat down and ate. Ho-ly guacamole this was THE most delicious burger I have tasted! My favorite prior to this was a place in Bishop, CA and this blows that right out of the water! After the first few bites, the food truck owner came in and gave us our bacon, which he had forgotten to put on the burger. Adding that into the burger made it a STELLAR burger. Another great reason to love this food truck/trailer? They donate to a cause that changes monthly. What a fun way to give back to their community. I love when places give back, but it's even cooler that the charity changes. I love that spreading the love gets shared to multiple good causes. If you're in the Genoa area, definitely look up this amazing food truck/trailer. I can imagine though on a busy evening or during a busy event the wait time may be longer. It appeared to just be the one guy working the truck/trailer. I'm not sure if he has help for busier events. read more

The Food was great. Service was awful. The Blonde. girl taking the orders was so rude. She served people in line after us the same thing we ordered. Called our name twice and when we went up wasn't our order 45 mins later when I questioned where everyone's food was as i was the only one in the party of 4 to get my order. She rudely dismissed me with the wave of her hand and took the next persons order. Not great customer service. Because of her I would not return!!!! read more

I have mixed feelings about the Hungry Hearts Food Truck, which is currently located at the Genoa Bar on Weekends. I've ordered their cheeseburger and fries, which are delicious. I took my order home, but your favorite adult beverages are available just a few steps away if you want to sit and stay. On the other hand, Genoa is a small historical town (where members of Gayle's family reside) where sometimes the success of the Genoa Bar overwhelms the central core. Maybe Hungry Hearts adds to that, but my larger concern are for the established "brick and mortar" restaurants across the street (e.g. Genoa Station, Genoa Country Store, etc.) that might be losing some of their business, while contending with the general congestion in from of their shops. Yes, the Orchard House weddings and City Park activities contribute too. And yes, you can call me a "small town character" fuddy duddy. But 10% of the food trucks proceeds go to charity, so that must be worth something. read more

I didn't catch the gals name tonight but she was amazing! Doing everything all on her own! Taking orders & then turning around and whipping everything up. People kept making their "funny comments" about the wait time but honestly for her being on her own, she did the damn thang! Wait time wasn't even bad. Just hungry drunks getting hangry. And it was a damn good burger so whatever wait time their is, it's worth it! The sweet potato fries are must as well! The cute toothpicks are a nice touch too! read more
