Went in there to get a to-go order and found this in my Nachos when I got home...attempted to call the location and no one answered 3x.

I can see why this place gets only 3 stars overall, it was just OK for me. On my way up to Tahoe and wanted to just get a quick uncomplicated lunch that wasn't Burger King or other fast food. A burrito is easy and not nearly expensive as some sit down lunch. I got the al pastor super burrito for around $9.00 bucks. It came up quick and I decided to eat in the dining room. They have salsas for you to dress up the burrito. I go for the hot sauce. Drinks are self serve like a fast food joint. The burrito was just OK and not that hot but had a good Mexican taste. However, the meat content was quite skimpy, so I was left with a lot of flour tortilla and less fillings. I've had other burritos that were a lot better. They don't have up to date hours on Yelp, so don't bank on getting accurate info here. Yelp says 4pm on Saturday and we drove out to Minden only to find out they actually close at 3:30pm. Come on guys, be professional with accurate info for your customers. read more

I would eat about 2 times a week for years at this particular super burrito. As of the last few years I have had almost nothing but bad experiences with the customer service and the quality of food at this particular super burrit. I also eat at the 1 in Reno and the 1 in Sparks and that are delicious and have never had an issue. I for some reason continue to give this super burrito my business and I honestly am starting to think they are intentionally messing with the food I order, I am no longer going back to this location and I will share my bad experience with every single person I talk with. Food is very good and quantities are great. Service is always exemplary, ambiance is what you would expect in a small Mexican restaurant.

I've been driving past this place for months and never seen a lot of cars in the parking lot so I was kind of lure but I thought I'd give a shot so I ordered a breakfast burrito with chorizo, eggs beans, and rice and cheese. There's absolutely amazing. The employees were very kind and helpful and the place is really clean. I would definitely stop in again and give them business to a local owner compared to any fast food chains in the area. So I know it's fast food, but I really love Super Burrito. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is wonderful. On occasion I even stop by for some fries for my pup. I actually go here rather than some of the "Mexican" restaurants. Their prices are fair & the food is delish. read more

This is our favorite place in Minden, NV to get breakfast to go! My wife and I are very fond of their Machaca both as a plate or in a burrito. The service is always quick either through the lobby or drive thru. The inside decor is simple but comfortable and it's also a decent place to dine in if you'd like to. Enjoy! read more

Super Burrito reminds me of Gordo's back in Albany, but with more seating. My go to Mexican menu choice is usually a chicken burrito ("dry" or wet) or a chicken quesadilla, normally without chips. I've found the food to be good, decently priced, and with friendly counter service. For what this place is (Mexican fast food that's not Taco Bell), I really like it. I normally take my food home where the beer is waiting, so I have no input on seating or the soda machine. And for a more formal sit down Mexican dining experience, there's a plethora of very good restaurant choices within the Carson Valley. read more

Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere that reminds me of my grandmother's house as a child. They can get slammed with customers in the evening, and navigating the drive-thru exit can be tricky. The chorizo and eggs with rice and beans and tortillas is my favorite meal, but everything else I've ordered has been fantastic. They carry glass-bottle Cokes made with real sugar (hecho en Mexico). Wow I went in yesterday and got an easy take home dinner for my wife and I which came to 22 dollars, looked at my bank statement this morning and I got charged 38 dollars and change! I added no tip as I gave one in cash and put line through receipt where tip goes. Just wow how dishonest and criminal. I will never return to this establishment ever again. Things are financially tight enough that now I have to worry about local establishments ripping me off when I pay with my debt card!!!! What a shame read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars because I have a heart for small businesses like this and the place is very clean on the people are very nice but the food the vegetarian burrito I had was pretty basic..... If I come back here I will see if I can get it grilled to give the tortilla some flavor But the place deserves more than the 3 stars it is averaging.... It's definitely better than Taco Bell and in my humble opinion deserves to be supported as a small independent family business read more

We have been going to Super Burrito for almost 20 years. Started at the locations in Reno, went to the Carson store when it was here & lately have been driving to Minden. The food has always been decent for fast food Mexican food. We normally get it to go, the last 3 times, the order has been mostly messed up. Ordered a basic #10 chicken burrito, haven't received it yet. I've received chicken when ordering a beef, received it wet with sauce when it was not ordered that way, received 2 pork burritos when beef & chicken was ordered. The food isn't cheap so it's frustrating to receive the wrong food when you are paying $25-$30 for a couple of burritos. CHECK YOUR ORDER before you leave. read more

This is a good place for some tasty burritos and tacos. They are friendly and appreciate their customers. I have been a customer for years at both the Reno and Minden locations and I will drive from Carson to Minden for a burrito. The stickers are a fun read in the drive thru's. I used to go to the Carson City location , but that closed and turned into yet another Mexican joint. This Super Burrito is decent. I went inside cause I wanted to eat some of my burrito at a table instead of messing up the inside of my car. Service was super fast, but I think I got charged more than I was supposed to. $7.25 inc tax seemed more than the $6.25 I thought it was supposed to be, even adding tax. The burrito was good, not as good as my place in Carson, but I just need me some food here right now. Honestly this place is not worth it. The food is disgusting. You can tell it's just frozen and not fresh the meat in my burrito was literally hard and they didn't even give me the right one. They got all our orders mixed up and we were literally the only ones in there so they weren't even in a rush hour. The service was horrible when we went to let them know that they got most of our orders wrong they got upset and didn't care just gave us wrong ones again. Cant be the prices at super burrito. They offer great specials for high school students as well. We usually get the burritos, Chile rellanos, or nachos. They always provide great customer service and are quick for lunch breaks too! Drive thru is also helpful if you are on the go! read more

Was hungry and in the mood for a breakfast burrito. This is the only mexican place that is open before 11am. It opens at 8am. I had a machaca breakfast burrito and my uncle had a cheese bean and egg burrito. Does Minden need a fourth Mexican restaurant? It would be at least five if you counted Taco Bell, but I'm not doing that. Apparently the answer is, "Yes". Yesterday, for my first visit, I stopped in for a burrito and the place was jammed. There were only two parking spots available, and the seating inside was the same. This is always a good sign, and I don't mind a crowd when it comes to eating good food. The folks I sat next to told me that they have already been several times, and that they really like the place. I ordered the vegetarian burrito for $4.45 and a coke, bringing my tab to over six dollars. Was it worth it? It was tasty, and I would not hesitate to return. The ingredients were fresh, and it was a 'help yourself' soda situation. They were real busy, and it wasn't until I was leaving that I noticed a little salsa station where it looks like customers can help themselves to as much as they'd like. This is not a sit down and get waited on place. You order, find a seat, wait for your number to be called, and then you eat. The crowd caused this to take a while.
