One of the worst meals I've had in a long time I got the chile quesadilla and a kids bean and cheese burrito which seem fairly uncomplicated. The chiles were giant and not even cut into bite size pieces and the quesadilla was so soggy I really couldn't even eat it at all. It also includes guacamole but it wasn't even fresh.. it was a guacamole sauce. Even del taco and those places have fresh guacamole?? I live five minutes away if that and the bean and cheese burrito was cold and dry and the cheese wasn't even melted. I didn't have super high expectations but I will not be going back. read more

Great location right off of 395 by the movies and high school. I've driven through often to get nachos, burritos, quesadillas, and much more. They have a great salsa area inside and pickled veggies. With mild to medium to hot salsas. The guacamole is pretty good too but could be a little thicker, although the spices and add ins are tasty and chunky! Today I got the large chips, 2 cups of a side of guacamole, and the poblano pepper quesadilla. The quesadilla had tons of what seemed to be a cheddar jack mix, lots of mild spicy peppers, and a charred floor tortilla, for a very reasonable price and included 4 cups of mild chunky salsa with onions and cilantro, 1 cup of sour cream and an additional cup of guacamole. The chips were also good, crunchy and flaky plus fresh, just needed a dash of salt. The drive through service is pretty quick for made to ready orders but is not like just any old fast food place that throws slope together at a moments notices. Lastly the service is great, the people that work there seem happy and dish out amazing bites, it's a little treat in this small town to taste love and care that goes into every ingredient and order. read more

Had evening meal at Super Burrito in Minden, NV, last night and was disappointed. Ordered taquitos and there were only two in the box, menu says three. Ordered ground beef enchiladas (26C) and they were chicken not beef, Taco was great. Wife ordered tortilla soup and it was half of what it used to be. They were busy as usual, so I didn't take it back. It was good, I just don't care for chicken. I will continue to go to them because their food is great, but please get your act together! Coming from SD, I do have high expectations for mexican food, but now that I live in northern NV, I've come to level-set my food expectations. Ordered a carne asada breakfast burrito. Basically, a carne asada burrito with egg and potatoes, as I've gotten at any other drive-through mexican food joint. The burrito from Super Burrito barely had any meat at all. The meat it did have looked very old and burnt (there's a difference between being charred or seared and just plain burnt). We asked to have guacamole added. There was barely any guacamole. There were no potatoes. It was basically an egg and cheese burrito. I ended up getting an upset stomach even though I could only eat half the burrito. Was hoping to have a good spot to pick up a quick breakfast on the way to Mammoth, but hard pass on Super Burrito. It fell way below expectations for northern NV mexican food. read more

Despite what everyone says about this restaurant, flavorless, bad service, etc, as a Mexican ethnic myself i must say that the food here is amazing, much better than taco bell or robertos. Burritos are always stuffed with delicious ingredients the nachos covered in cheese olives etc. I saw one person say that the tortilla was bland and to that i say, what do you want them to do, season the tortilla? The girl at the window was not pleasant at all. I don't know her name but she has long nails and an industrial ear piercing. Every time we come here she is so rude. The same can not be said for the other employees, they are all amazing... she is not. I do not feel like I am getting quality customer service when she is at the window. The food was pretty good! Nothing special but not bad either. The good review is for the waitstaff. They were sooo nice and the service was super quick. One of the girls in the group I was with had recently got kicked in the face by a horse and just had oral surgery a couple days before and couldn't have her false teeth in due to the swelling. I had the super burrito. It was ok. The steak wasn't my thing. Tasted cheap. I thought it was strange that the all meat burrito is more expense than the super burrito. Service was ok, didn't get the feeling that they cared about my business. They have a hand written note on the glass of the salsa bar that says don't take more than a 2 oz salsa per meal and if you do and get caught they will ask you to pay .25. I've never seen this anywhere. Still not sure what a meal is, what if I have 2 burritos or just 1 taco, are those both equally a meal? My family and I have eaten here over two dozen times. I've never had a bad experience. We have eaten there, taken an order to go and gone through the drive through. The service has been great each time. The wait to order or for our food is never too long. I love this place because the quality of the food does not seem like fast food but rather like I ordered it in a restaurant without having to tip. My favorite is the Carna Asada nachos. I normally I love this location. Today, in the drive-thru I ordered my beef tostada and a plain tostada without cheese for my wife. when I got to the window, I was required to repeat my order 3 times to 2 different employees because apparently they could not understand my English. I also asked for 1 mild sauce and a side of onions. When we arrived home, the tostadas tasted differently than normal (much blander). this is an update.. went a couple days ago and had a burrito.. it was the first one I tried here.. gotta say it was pretty bland.. it was the #1 with pork and it was just bland.. the flour tortilla itself was bland it just tasted like it added to the blandness of the burrito.. having said that.. the tacos are still great.. way better than Taco Bell.. had the shredded beef taco and it was like the tacos we used to get when I was growing up in Southern CA.. so.. my recommendation is stick to the tacos and skip the burritos.. read more

Each time I come and order super nachos I specifically say I don't want any olives or tomatoes they manage to not put tomatoes but always the olives are on there. Love the nachos but they never listen to when I say I don't want olives. read more

I stopped at Super Burrito today for lunch. I ordered a Super Taco (#13 on the menu as I recall). My order came quickly. However when I opened the taco to add salsa, I discovered it was lacking several ingredients (tomatoes and sour cream). I took the taco back to the counter to let them know I didn't get what I ordered and to have it corrected. The employee at the counter quickly pointed out that the taco did have sour cream. I couldn't see any. When I asked for the tomatoes, she quickly accused me of "copping an attitude" and if I wanted attitude, she was ready to give it to me. No real customer service. Another employee finally brought out a container of tomatoes for my taco which I added. While the food at Super Burrito is marginally acceptable, the employee attitude toward their customers is abysmal. I recommend staying away from the Minden Super Burrito. read more

People in drive thru are rude, food is ok for Mexican in Nevada, a bit boring, good portions but nothing special. But the new rule 1 salsa per Item is ridiculous. Even if you order a huge burrito they will only give you one. Really the salsa is they only thing that is good there, you need to pour on 3 of them to give flavor to the food. Don't dare to ask for more, the will not give you any, you must pay for extra. They would not give me an extra sauce so I canceled my order and went somewhere else. Went for lunch today. I had the al pastor burrito. The meat had a good taste but it was not hot. Cheese was not melted and cold chunks. My wife had a tostada with shredded beef. The food is really bad. They limit your sauce cups and it feels like they're watching over your shoulder to make sure you don't grab extra.
