The "3-star" rating wasn't exactly enticing but I'm glad I walked in anyway because everyone here is so friendly!!! The prices are great and the environment is very relaxing! I'm not sure how the reviews came to be so low, but I had a great experience as a late walk-in on a Thursday. They were happy to accommodate a mani and pedi, even though it was after 6:30 (and they close at 7). I received a deluxe pedicure and then a classic manicure, and didn't feel rushed at all. Katie helped me with my nails, and she was so sweet and attentive! I found my manicurist to be very kind and they squeezed me in last minute on Saturday afternoon which I was so grateful for! Overall this wouldn't be a place that I would come to get my pedicure done as I prefer the kind of locations that use different sets of equipment for every single customer. Came in for a basic pedicure. It seemed like it took forever for the girl to make it to the chair. She kept wandering around very slowly. She finally made it to my chair and as she started to do my pedicure she started to talk with her coworker constantly. I felt as though she had no interest in my pedicure. I also feel she did not do a complete pedicure, let alone not even a 20-minute massage. I would say it was probably maybe 8 or 9 minutes at the most. I had to tell her to massage my feet. The lady next to me was doing a great job. I don't know who she was but I sure wished I would have gotten her instead. As soon as she got through painting my toenails, she wanted the money right away. I was trying to put my shoes on myself because she didn't bother coming over. Her coworker saw that I was trying to put my shoes on myself and told her to come over and help me. What kind of crap is this? I even tipped her pretty decently. I really shouldn't have even done that. In summary, I won't be coming back anytime soon to this place. I figure this way if you don't like your job then find another job!! read more

I didn't think my nails looked anything like what I asked for my picture. The nail tech who did my pedicure said it's an ombré dip powder. So once my manicure started she asked if I wanted it long and then I said no. She used like a blush brush to create the ombré and most of my nails are uneven. I asked her how long she was doing nails and she said a long time. She had only been in this Glendale location 6 months. I realized they were looking uneven. She said that it's not gonna look like the picture because it's short and she said they didn't have the tools in the salon to create what I wanted. So why do my nails anyway? Pedicure wasn't bad but they didn't do much with my cuticles... The girl that did my pedicure was very sweet and the only reason I gave this place a star at all. They wouldn't stop trying to sell me things which I understand and was prepared for but it never ended. My full set was the worst one I've ever received. She actually got frustrated with the fact that I didn't want my nail wide and moved me to another table. I'm writing this review right now actually... with my nails not finished. I've been here for two plus hours now. I only ever went here once , I probably wouldn't endure it again . The acrylic was so clumpy and half assed. I only had my nails on for less than a week and they started popping off . I went in today to get my nails done this would be my second visit. I received what I thought was a loyalty card on my first visit. Today while checking out I gave the technician my "loyalty" only to find out that management only stamps your card when you pay cash so I'm rewarded for my cash but not my business? I understand credit cards come with a cost but that is the cost of doing business. I also understand that when you promote cash only sales business owners typically do not claim all sales because they can get away with that and pay less taxes etc. This is my little rant I was annoyed but will likely come back because they are good but that doesn't mean that I'm loyal to this business. read more

I've been here twice and I have to say I'll never go anywhere else! This salon is clean, the techs are talkative and social, and everyone is so friendly! For a fill and a pedi it was $55, which with the quality of what I received is well worth it. My pedicure from here lasted three weeks!! I've never had a pedi last that long and still look good! The techs listen when you say you don't want chunky acrylics and their gel work is thin enough where your nails still are sharp/thin, and lasts forever. After three weeks I still had nails that looked fresh (despite my new growth). Five stars are well deserved! read more

I accidentally smudged my nails, and the lady got very upset with me. She proceeded throughout the appointment to show rudeness, and I knew she was talking bad about me behind my back (right in front of me in her language). they messed up once thought I would be nice and go back and try again the second time was so bad I 2 days after getting my nails done have no nails the gel was not cured right when I told her it was not she laughed at me and said it would be fine , I as a cosmetologist do not like to complain or make a seen , so I paid and tipped and came back the next day when the gel started pealing off and wet polish was still under it , they said they do not refund even though I was only asking for just half the price I payed , and as I was talking with them , did not sanitize the tools they put back on their cart to use on the next person , but instead used the dirty foot water to "clean the tools " then placed on the cart , do to that i will be calling state board and also caution others from going here. I also asked the nail tech two separate times to trim my real nails, but she never did. If I could rate this no stars I would. I came Monday to get a fill for the first time since receiving a full set 2 weeks prior. On Monday I asked the guy not to saw off all my acrylic as I type for work and anything thin will snap and break my nails. Well guess what??! He sawed down all my acrylic. So you know what happened next...my nails begin to crack and 2 of them broke clean off (with no pain). So I go into the shop today to have my nails fixed by the same man that sawed them down and he had nerve to tell me that I do not need long nails because of what I do. I'm sorry since when do you tell me how to wear my nails when I'm paying you to do them how I like them?? What a complete disrespect to your customer. I will never return there EVER again!! I went to get my nails done; just a gel polish change on Saturday late afternoon. This salon is busy but able to get me in without a wait. I paid $23 for gel nail polish for my nails- in efforts to not have chips in my polish.. But not even 24 hours later I have two chips in my bright pink nail polish! That annoys me because I could have painted my own nails and been chip free for at least a few more days. I wouldn't come back because I don't like the chipping within 24 hours. My dips broke within a week. And my gel coat has turned BROWN in less than a week. They do not have quality supplies. Nor are the techs nice. They're very rough and make me bleed and have sore fingers every time I've been here. I will be finding a new nail salon ASAP. read more
