So this was our first time coming here. My sister got a really good pedi by a male and i got a nightmare pedi by a female girl. She only said a few words and when she did talk you couldn't hear her bcuz of how low she talked and her mask. She dug so hard into my cuticles i was coming off the chair! She drew blood from my left toe and it wouldn't stop bleeding ! She finally put some drops in it that stung and then put polish over it. I couldn't believe it I can't even put my shoe on. This was my second visit, and I would hate to jump in just to complain but I left feeling icky. My first visit was a pedicure with my husband and it was great. This visit was for a SNS dip manicure. The tech I was matched with was nice but he seemed more concerned with what was happening in the shop and his phone notifications than my nails. I went on Monday (4 days ago). Not only did he not clean my cuticles (or push them back for that matter), he got them with the drill. And today 1/2 my dip popped right off. Keep in mind the $40 doesn't get you anything except the dip application, no cuticle clean up, no massage, no oil treatment (and none were offered) and my nails should have lasted more than 4 days.. read more

Best mani/pedi I've had in a year! I had a hot mess of a horrible mix of acrylic with SNS done over it and they were so thick. Vincent shortened them and made them perfect and thin! This is a wonderful salon! We were so impressed! I called ahead for an appointment and was greeted as I walked in. The nail techs opened new clippers and cuticle pushers/nippers in front of me from sterilized packs. They soaked the gel off with acetone first, then used the dremel tool - much gentler! There are 15 different pedicure options to choose from, and very reasonable prices (even with gel added on). It's a quiet, relaxing environment and a very clean facility. 18 manicure chairs and 18 pedicure massage chairs with plenty of employees working. Good color variety to choose from in polish, gel, and dip. They really do massage for 15 minutes (my tech used a timer). And she even did cuticle remove twice - once before the massage and once after (lotion and oil for massage). The full pedicure lasted 1 hour. We will be return customers for sure! read more

I've been coming here for a couple times now. My sister showed me this nail spot. Michelle is amazing! Coming in the salon is clean and big. The paints and the decor is really nice. I come as a walk in. There was a small wait. I was seated and began my soak off. I have my own nails long so I get the SNS dip method. It's $40 but worth it! My nails don't break or crack and they last me 4 weeks! I had a gentleman do my set this last time and he didn't rush me and wasn't going fast to get to the next client. Whenever I needed him to file a nail or fix a nail he did without any hesitation. Overall I love my nails although the color I selected is kind of opaque see thru. I can't wait to come back. It's worth it So I came back to get a pedicure and to get one nail fixed since it broke and the main boss I believe he was Andy totally fixed all my nails free of charge as the guy who did mine didn't make them dark as they should have been. I've been to a lot of nail salons but this was by far a sad experience. It's my birthday weekend and I wanted to treat myself to getting my nails done. Unfortunately Tempe was too far a drive and the other girl I go to is not opening up quite yet. So I settled for this salon based on the google reviews. I walked in, and was already greeted rudely by the girl at the front. I didn't have to wait very long but I already felt uneasy. The salon is nice-it's big, has blue led lights on the ceiling, beautiful sinks, and it was busy from what I saw. An elderly couple came in for two pedicures and sat next to me. I look towards the counter and see a male asking the front desk lady what work the "fat girl" wanted done as they both looked in my general direction in Vietnamese. The sad thing is I don't think they realized I was a Vietnamese myself. Talk about a downer to a birthday weekend. I dismissed it, and let him do my set as I really needed them done and I drove a bit to get to this location. He did a pretty good job (I requested a French ombré with tips on) although I think they're still too long-but that's on me. Beyond that, I can feel the arrogance seep through this guy. He finished, I paid, tipped him while saying "thank you" in Vietnamese and got the heck out of there. I felt...ashamed. Was the job good? Sure, $50 for a full set and French ombré. Not a bad price. Was it the best set I ever had? Nope. Did I have a nice time? No. Will I be coming back or recommending this place to anyone? Nah, fam. I suggest this business speak kindly no matter what language they're speaking in. You never know when someone comes in and understands what you're saying. read more

This was my first time here. Was pretty busy. I went with friends, so we waited about 15min. I wish they had more nude/pink colors, but I found one I like. The lady was super friendly. Typical pedicure where they cut, cuticle push, and scrub the heels. They massage the feet & put a hot towel on them. Also, they give a quick should and back massage. I wore pants that I couldn't roll up otherwise she may have massages my legs too, but not sure. Then she polished my toes & it was only $20. Typically pedicures are at least $25. Today I came in on a spur of the moment decision with my mom just for a relaxing pedicure. My legs and feet have been hurting from work as I'm on them 12+ hours a day and 6 days a week. They have a pedicure special for swollen and achy feet so I decided to get that one today. Started out great and was soothing but then the nail tech started acting like she was in a hurry. She became very rough and was practically "man-handling" me. I had to stop her multiple times because she was rubbing my legs so raw I wanted to cry. I asked her to be gentle/soft and she continuously got rougher. I had to finally yank my legs out of her grasp and say "I'm done. No more." And got up and paid and left. If I could give 0 stars I would. I live right by this nail salon and I've given them multiple chances. The last time I went was just because of my mom. She likes the way they do her pedicure. So I took her so we can both do pedicures and I needed a fill. They sat us on the chairs and moments later the lady who was coming to do mine, looked at my feet and was talking to the other lady and laughing. I asked if there was a problem, she said no(barely). So I let it go. Then the other lady was coming to do my moms pedicure, she politely told her that she wanted to wait for someone because she liked another lady does her feet. Regularly come to this nail place and on occasion bring my daughters. I've decided since yesterday it will be my last time!! Although they improved on extreme long waits yesterday a newer male employee did my nails and they are terrible!! I pay for the dip/powder. He left the sides exposed and while I commented the sides where left off with no powder while I was there he just made them worse. Uughh!!! I took the high road and tipped them well but will no longer step into this nail shop. I refuse. You can expect long waits and inconsistencies in quality. I received a gift card and went to redeem my gift card and they stated it's over a year old it's no longer valid. Nails by Andys is dishonest company. I stated you have your money and No where on the gift card did it state it's only valid 1 year. You can't leave a tip on your card anymore they said cash only for tips. They said if you don't have cash you can use there ATM, which I saw the owner fill the ATM and they charge you $2.00. So cash only for the tips. After I got a pedicure I saw the girl put the wooden tool she used on my feet back in her cart and take the other tools in the back. The pedicure was nothing to talk about. Never will I go back and I will tell my friends and family. It's sad because I have been going there for years even before the salon expanded there business. read more

I used to be a regular here: not anymore. Like the rest of the reviews, Andy the owner, is SO RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. Absolutely disgusting how these employees treat their customers. Their nail polish is old & they always have to add acetone to the polish (there's many complaints on this issue). You can find other nail salons close by that has better pricing & way better service. Yes, this place is nice on the inside but the people who work here aren't. Andy talks poorly about everyone. (Not knowing that some of the customers understand what their saying). The things I heard today from the owners mouth was very unprofessional & made me very uncomfortable. I typically am happy with my nails when I leave, but not today. Every time I come here the service gets worst & worst. My nails are NOT what I asked for and the color is NOT what it looks like on their nail book. After today, I will not be coming back to this place. If I can give this place 0 stars I would... But it made me choose atleast 1 star. Shame on you Nails by Andy, you're cut off. DON'T COME HERE. There are way better nail salons within a mile radius of this place. Save your money, time, & save yourself from getting spoken poorly about. Why is this place still even open? So sad. UPDATE: The next day my toenail polish chipped on pretty much every nail. As I mentioned before, their nail polish is old and dried out. So frustrating! I went to Andy and addressed the fact that my toes and my fingernails did not match, from what was supposed to be the correct match to my color of dip. Massage was relaxing! Got the $40 pedi and mani, no paint (I hate maintaining it). She was a little too rough... cut my toe (see photo) and then kept putting alcohol and her hands on it making it burn several times. I asked her to use the scraper thing on my outer small toes because I have callouses there and she felt it and said no, calluses are on the bottom of the feet. The simple cuticle job on my fingernails was very fast and not thorough (see pics). Won't be back. read more
