they messed up my toe nail. 1st of all, then shoving instruments underneath the nail bed and PUSHING back is ILLEGAL. I really should be taking legal action. Just hoping that others see this and don't get an ingrown nail OR an infection. Cosmology school should've taught you differently. 2nd, she did a poor job painting my nails. Waste of $50. This place is under new management so I was excited to give it another try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The new owner is great and overall I enjoyed the vibe and conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have been looking for a place that does GelX and they do. I'm very simple with my nails like a solid color almond shape usually, however they do very nice designs and have lots of colors to choose from. I'm writing this review late, it's been three weeks and my Gelx nails are holding up with no lifting love that , I'm heavy handed and a nail bitter so the fact that these have lasted me speaks volumes. I called several places to get my nails and toes done and they were all booked (mainly because it was a weekend). I called this Salon and they were able to accommodate my sister and I for two full sets. I felt like my nails were rushed but they came out perfect! Probably took 30 minutes when other places take more than an hour and still manage to mess up the shape. I believe my sister and I got our nails done by the owner and his wife. Super friendly. They are very professional, kind, efficient and just AMAZING. My mom, sister and I all get our nails done here and they are very detail oriented and genuine good people! Update: they took more money out my sisters account under the tip, lied about the price over the phone when I got there he said oh well it's no longer 33 for a gel acrylic fill but will be from 35-39 depending on the shape and size, they overcharge in general but I thought it was worth it. It's not... to deal with there lying selves. Not ever going back and neither will my family nor friends. I brought my friend to get hers done and I'm sure they charged her extra too but she's too nice to say anything. read more

BEWARE: please be cautious when attending this salon. I've been here continuous for the last 3 months and this time will be my last!!! Usually they are great individuals. Let's start at the beginning: I come in and was told there would be at 10min wait in which I was okay with. That ten minutes turned into 40 mins. Again, I was okay with that because this was my favorite place! The regular lady that does my nails was not available and she had an appointment,so the other woman( that usually does toes) began to do my nail. I was definitely apprehensive. As she began doing my nails I notice that one finger is noticeably smaller than the other. So I said something, before acrylic was applied. I told her what I wanted along with a picture and she didn't know how to do it( I respected her honesty). Now the other women ( that usually does my nails and does great) begins to do it..... But wait, I thought she had an appointment!? As she's doing my nails shes rushing! And I stop her and let her know that I am aware that she has an appointment and I have no problem coming by another time/day. She proceeds to do my nails and when she finally stops, I check them out and they are horrible as if she has never done ombré and this was an experiment! So of course I say something and she lets me know that " it'll look better once I'm finished" I tell her" I don't want you to do something you are not confident in, and I don't want to pay for something that I am unhappy with " I'm getting tired of typing now soooo..... I tell her to cut them off and she does just that but she didn't even file them down! She literally just got out of her chair and worked and someone else. That's what really upset me. I'm a loyal customer and although you weren't able to achieve what I wanted you could have just been honest with me. Now both of our times have been wasted. I expect to get the same respect and professionalism that I give. With how I was treated will not be returning. read more

Really awesome experience! Everyone that works here is very kind and considerate and works hard to get guests in and out in a timely, yet relaxing manner. Very clean and nice salon. DO NOT GO HERE. They use something to thin their polishes. After 4 coats you can still see the nail, and it started chipping almost immediately. They tried to pressure my sister into getting a product she didn't want and were rude when she declined. The tech actually started picking the edge of her nail off to "show" her why she needed a more expensive product. My gels started chipping at the base within two days. I have never had a gel chip from the base. Save your money and your time and go anywhere else. read more

Thy did my nails and took her time and did the most amazing job. She cared about the final look and gave me her best. I havent had this kind of amazing results in a long time. She didnt pressure me and her nail color and product is STILL on my nails and I'm long overdo for a fill. She asked if I wanted my brows waxed (they needed it and wanted to get them done anyway), so I was grateful she brought it up. We ended up doing more of my face, I left looking amazing, I do wish she would've informed me of the price jump of waxing on different areas of face, but I shouldve asked as she suggested more areas. Thy would not have been rude or pushy. Her talent in designs are amazing. I dont know what happened with the other reviewer, but my experience was completely opposite.
